She looked up into his eyes, biting her tounge slightly. These words seem to soothe her, but they would never fill the hole that had been left when Ariston left.
"You always thought that you werent really any different than any other male to me. That was never true. I was actually able to talk to you, and feel true joy, but I could never control myself, and even if I did try, every thought blew away when I saw another fox. But the thing is, and still is, I didnt want to end up lying to you...I was always trying to figure out in my mind if you truly were the fox for me. And I didnt want to say something that wouldnt be true. I still dont know if you had been..."

Ariston nodded in agreement. Honestly, what she said was a relief.
"That makes this so much easier to say, Shinra," he sighed and told the truth. "You weren't the one for me. You never were. In some ways I wish that it weren't so, because I do care about you. But if you weren't sure from the get go, not completely willing to change for me, it means we just weren't meant to be."
He looked out over the meadow, lost in his thoughts.
"The one you love, with all your heart, the one you're willing to give your life for, give your life to, you should never have doubts about it. You should be willing to make any change they wish, in an instant, without them having to ask, and without hesitation. They're either right or they're not. And we're just not right," he sighed again and bumped her shoulder.
"I guess the next question is, what happens next?"

sHinra winced at these words. Ariston was still special too her, and she didnt know if she'd ever find another fox that special to her. Then she shook her head.
"Ariston, I've knowen this from the start, I'll never be able to change. I am who I am, and deep down, I know that'll never go away. What I need if a fox who loves me for who I am, not who I could be. I need someone that accepts me, and willing to work with me," She said, gazing up at the moon.
She was bumped again, and this time, gave a gentle shove back. "What happens next? Well, you being a normal fox, move on, find another, have twelve kits, and grow old. I'll probably end up alone in the end anyways."
