Shiv makes his search and sees the same sign as before, it hasn't moved, nor been changed in the last... 5 minutes since he first saw it.

Seeing nothing new Shiv nods to his companion to follow him. He heads toward in the direction of the market to sell his belongings.
This is annoying, theres gotta be treasure down there but we can't get to it. Man this is annoying.
((How much gold should we have at this point?))

(( ouch, see what you mean about the dice rolling on here, if I did that and got that number I would notice... my shoes? as for gold, I would think the Draqx would have more of a carge the Burren military account ten carry around massive bags of coin right? who would take tons of coins on a mission anyways? ))

Shiv stops and thinks about lodgings. He was so preoccupied about selling his findings that he forgot about sleeping.
"Good point. lets get a place to sleep and maybe i can clean up these armor and weapons, so they could sell for more! Maybe someone at the white horse inn could tell us?"
Shiv immediately turns toward the white horse inn and walks hurriedly. There was only one thing on his mind.
I gotta find that item, i just gotta find it. I need more gold then i'll get it and be one step closer.

Draqx just gave his head a shake and chuckled.
'You definatly need some sleep there, you have been acting more and more compulsive as we travelled, granted a few days travel in the outdoors and sleeping with the rocks and twigs in your back and the mosquitos.. shudder the mosquitos... anywho I am sure you will feel right good after a good nights sleep on a proper bed, and who knows, you might need it from what I have heard about the bartering thats done around here, you will need to be at the top of your game to come back with your shirt, least thats what the CO allways said about the skill of the traders around there parts eh?'

Shiv looked back at draqx a bit irritated.
"I don't need sleep, I need gold! Can sleep buy you food? Can it buy you equipment??? Can it buy you magic equipment????? NO! Gold buys you that stuff!!! GOLD IS WHAT I NEED and so far this adventure has gotten me some goblin scraps. I need serious gold to get the stuff that i want!?!?!?!?"
Shiv then stopped noticing how twitchy and irritable he was. He looked down at his feet and sighed.
"Ok, your right. Lets head to the inn, find a place to sleep, then maybe grab a drink and see if anyone is up to playing a round of cards."
Shiv smiled to himself at the thought of a card game, he loved card games. heart

It takes you about 10 minutes to reach the inn of the White Horse, your pretty sure its the inn for the picture of a large white stallion rests on a sign in front of the building. It seems to be well kept, and with an impossibly easy listening check its quite clear the inn seems to be packed with people who are talking, laughing, and the fact a bard seems to be playing music from inside to amuse the crowd.

"Ok you find some rooms and i'll find the gold, um i mean card tables."
And before draqx has a chance to respond Shiv darts into the crowd in search of a table with cards at it.

((Dear god.... I fear what you will be like in star wars.... eek ... take everything not tied down gonk ))
Shiv's search reveals that in the back, a cloaked figure along with 1 elven male, 2 human males, a halfling female, and a very scarred orc male playing some cards. By appearance, the cloaked figure seems to be doing fairly good compared to everyone else at the table.

Shiv can hardly contain his excitement at the sight of a card game. He walks up to the table and sits down.
"Hello there gentleman and lady, may i sit down and join you?"
He pats his coin purse as he sits down.((how much gold should i have at this point?))

With a number of shady glares and grumbles, they don't seem to do anything. The cloaked figure begins to shuffle the cards and then deals them out. One of the other players looks at Shiv. "Bets are in single gold pieces...."

Shiv pulled out two gold pieces and set them on the table. He sat back and smiled.
"Ok then, lets deal out those cards and play a game. I'm on for two gold."

The dealer puts the remaining cards down and everyone picks up their hand. A few laugh at the new comer betting without even looking at his hand. The players put forth their coins, one of the humans and the halfing fold because they did not have anything good. This left the cloaked dealer, the elf, the orc, and the other human left.
