Thanks all. They always mess movies up, like in one movie there was a glass that magically refilled. blaugh I've never read the books. I keep wanting to start but the library is always out of the first one... Anywho. Her dress sorta reminds me of the elegant gothic aristocrat style, its a form of lolita dresses. I will rarely read books after I've seen the movie, because I have to analiysis it and see what all they did wrong. But off-topic here, has anyone besides me noticed that in pirates of the caribbean will's father would still be alive at the bottom of the ocean straped to a cannon? He stole a pendant so he can't die... 3nodding see, I have no life...

oO Yuki Yumi Oo I belive they tried to make it look Old Style European Gothic? It's in no way really realted to the gothic stereotype we in modern age reffer to. I believe the style was suppose to be slightly Edwardian style.

Jehosaphat In case you haven't noticed, a lot of the book illustrations are wrong. Here I will list the ones I know. In TEE, Violet is in her regular clothes instead of pinstripes. In 9-10, Violet should still be in her hospital gown. In TGG, the taxi is purple. Yes, I posted the thing about the hospital gown on a message board once and someone shot me down on that. Lets see if the children are in the uniforms or their regular clothes in the next book...

And, strapped to a cannon, he couldn't do anything, so really, he was no better off than if he had died before the curse was broken...In the moonlight he would become a skeleton and could slip away...right? I don't have a life either.

I don't have a life either. Uh, but he would be dead, because they put all the pendants back and broke the curse. But I think he got away by turning into a skeleton. I think he's in the new movie, I've seen the trailor and it looks awesome! 4laugh Anyway, Chaos, you should really try to read the books, they're awesome! 4laugh

I thought that when I watched the film. I love her outfit and it's the kind of thing I think Violet would wear. They found a good actoress for her part. You can just imagine her inventing all those things. She so looks the part.

I think both dresses are great, I loved the one in the film so much! *squee!* I think it would be so cool to wear that on a stage! Imagine it...
*goes off into dream world*
...
What was I saying?
Oh yes, and I think the Pirates of the Carribean thing is a good point... I think it crossed my mind at one point, but it floated away like the leaves on an autumn day...

I just like the dress... Lol. I'm too stupid to go into details, but I love the books, the movies are not as good as they do not really stick to the book plan... gonk
