Jasper's ears perked up at that. Never grow dull? She tilted his head lightly and tried to imagine it. Was there any real chance that he could have a fun relationship like his and Mom's?
"Sure dad! I'll take your word on that!" He said, replying with a light smile of his own.

Kukki nodded and smiled. "You do that son, you do that." He began laughing and sighed. He couldn't believe they were almost all grown up now, it seemed like only yesterday they were just kits.

As always, it didn't take Jasper long to come up with a new question. "What's it like Daddy? Being a father of four?" He asked, peeking up at him though the corner of his eye, but pretending to watch the steam.

Kukki laughed as he remembered what they were like when they were so very little, always getting into everything and never sitting still. "You guys were such a handful as eggs, never stopping and making me chase after you all the time."

Jasper could just barely recall his earlier life as an egg. Had he really been that crazy? He laughed at the thought, he'd make sure to have his own kids some day! "Sunds like you had a blast!"

Kukki laughed even more. "A blast? It was the hardest and most stressful time of my life, watching you little eggs. But you guys were well worth it."

Point to Daddy, for making Jasper even more nervous to grow up. Like he wasn't have enough self-esteem issues without having to worry about living though a crazy family! Maybe he'd just stay single for his whole life!

Kukki smiled at Jasper and continued. "The joys in being a parent aren't in the care taking, but in watching you guys mature and take on responsibility of your own. Your laughs and your tears, everything, you mom and I have felt and will continue to feel. I hope someday you may have a family as well so you can experience this feeling."

Well...okay! He was making it sound a little better, Jasper still had a few worries about it though. Like, his kids trying to eat him. He rolled his eyes at the random thought. "Will I ever have more siblings?" It was a pretty random question, and had nothing to do with himself, he was just obviously curious.

Kukki smiled softly at him and nodded. "Your mom and I are hoping to have a great many more. We don't know how many, but as many as she's allowed to have I suppose."

Jasper's mouth popped open into the perfect 'o' shape. "OH!" He said, shacking his head to get ride of the shock. Wow, who would have guessed! He would just be one of the firsts, he laughed lightly. Maybe soon, he'd have another cookie brother!

Kukki laughed at Jasper's reaction, it was picture perfect. Almost as if he had read his mind, he continued. "Who knows, you may end up with another cookie little sister or brother."

Jasper's attention was totally stuck on having a little cookie sibling to deal with and totally understand. What would she/he taste like? "Oh my gosh! Daddy! That would be sooo cool! When can Mommy have kids again! I soooo want a little cookie sister, or brother!" Someone, anyone one like would be so totally the best thing ever!
