She smirked in return for his glare, she had gained an advantage for a moment but it was quickly removed with his next sentence. Whisking her tails aside she smiled simply.
"I'm sure you know where a few are." she said. Katsumi thought for a moment. She could summon one to her perhaps, if she really tried. "A true rune eh?" she pondered she'd try the experiment latter in her father's library course the results wouldn't be disclosed unless she managed to get one.
"I bet I will," she said confidently then matched his smirk.

 He shrugged and rolled his eyes. This had turned into a battle of expressions. "Corse I know where some are. " AH, this was something she knew nothing about. He found the upper ground.
"Not all that simple to get one toots. You see I got a friend who has one of them, the dawn rune. Powerful Sh**. An' he went through a lot to get it. Once they're on ya, you can never get them off unless you die. But I hear you never age and live forever." He tapped his chin with his left paw. The smirk held on his face.
"All the true runes have hosts though..." He could tell this was something that she found interesting. And there was nothing more of a pain wanting something and not being able to obtain it... Roy watched her expressions carefully, seeing if this would be a big blow.
"hmmm, I guess if you -really- wanted one you could -try- ta' kill someone who has one....but I doubt you'd get very far without being turned to a big pile-o-ash. Seen that happen many times too. Many many many times " All the time he kept his smirk.

"Really? They need to have hosts eh?" Katsumi grinned mischievously it would make the spell all the more difficulty but with the right words she could manage anything. "Well I could still get one," she said with a smirk matching the other kitsu clearly undeterred.
“I’d rather not live forever tough.” She with an exasperated sigh she then added “Maybe it’s not worth it, I bet my magic is stronger.”
She would try latter but she wasn't going to try anything when anyone else was around. She always practiced her magic alone, but she might have to convince her other sister to lend her a hand this time.

Yup, Hosts and from what he heard and saw it wasn't very pleasant to have one either. It was painful in the long run. Roy had no intentions of living forever either. Too much of a pain and haste.
"Feh, You'd think differently after ya' see one. But Princy's off doing some 'important'-" He motioned his paws like air quotes. "Work.
'sides, he wouldn't show ya'." It was a little disappointing to see that that had not damperd her spirits. In fact it seemed to inspire her more.
Roy was starting to see that it was going to be hard to find an easy way to set this one off. He'd better make it just a tough.

"so your friend 'princy' as you call him has one then?" She inquired further; she was pleased that not being set off by his remark seemed to trouble him. She defiantly wasn't going to make this easy on him either. she grinned.
"Really he wouldn't show me?" Katsumi figuring that she could make him.

Roy again went over several more options in his mind. The most appealing one right now was to simply walk away. She didn't seem like the kind of person to like to be ignored. This had to be timed just right though. Too soon and you're a coward, too late and you're not going anywhere.
"I wouldn't even show ya' if I had one. Not worth the time..." Roy lifted his head slightly.

"Well that makes the challenge all the more interesting." she said simply her tails waving and forth slowly. "But what would you know of that anyway." she added.
"Well I sure wouldn't ask you to show me anyway," Katsumi smirked tilting her head only slightly "Because clearly you don't have one."

Roy's fur fluffed out at her last comment. It was deffanately the right button for him.
"No, 'an you're lucky I don't." He growled as he got up and simply walked past her, shoulders hunched and tails stiff.

"Really now?" she teased him as he walked away she had hit a chord and it made her grin. Katsumi walked a few paces in the opposite direction pulling out her wand she readied it for a spell. But not yet... she would tease him a little more.
"Well if you 'ever' get one we’ll have a good fight to see who's best." she said confidently
"See ya Roy..." she said with a giggle waving her wand and muttering the spell quickly, she vanished Katsumi had apparated away. Her laughter still sounded in the area after the spell.
