Alok immediately straightened the moment the vixen came into sight. He had been slouching somewhat, and that wasn’t a way to go about being in front of a lady. His tail was just a bit straighter, his paws more secure onto the grass as he opened his mouth to reply to the newest Fox to the bunch.
“Mornin’, Miss!” he greeted in a friendly tone. Then, taking note of the fourth Fox, a purple male, he nodded.

For the first time, Milo noticed that they were closer to the other two foxes than he though. He nodded back to the golden male. "Hello..." Didn't realize how many of us were up." He chucked and smirked, very shyly.

Monroe stared at the purple fox who bumped into her with wide eyes for a slight second. Recovering, she resumed her posture, "Well then... Good Morning I suppose." What a uniquely splendid morning it was, indeed. After all, the foxes standing before her were potential friends. "My name is Monroe, by the way. Call me Roe," She smiled.

Monroe and Milo, eh? Sort of made Alok feel a bit awkward being the odd Fox out with a name that started with a different letter. In any case, now surrounded by a nice little group, he decided to openly reply.
“Miss Roe, Milo,” he acknowledged politely, inclining his head again. “I’m usually up at this time o’ tha mornin’. Guess I’ve always been somewha’ of an early riser myself.”
His tail flickered.

Roe shifted her attention to the pup. She realized she barely paid any mind to him earlier. "Well, then, weren't you here with... Er..." It struck her that she hadn't asked the golden fox's name yet, "Him first? Wouldn't it be discourteous not asking for his consent to play as well?" She felt awkward and improper referring to the polite male as simply 'him', it seemed rude. 'But wouldn't asking him now be even worse?' She sighed and resumed sitting on the spot attentively.

A strong pang of guilt struck Alok square in the chest like a forceful kick. It was against his policy not to introduce himself right off the bat with anyone - especially a lady. Clearing his throat some, he shifted on the grass and turned his attention to the female.
“Forgive me fer not introducin’ myself earlier, Miss Roe. Tha name’s Alok, and it’s a pleasure,” he said quickly, swallowing.

Misunderstanding his change of tone, she assumed he thought her offensive. 'Surely, being quite the gentlefox he would hide his displeasure.' Roe didn't want to be displeasing, "No no! I'm sorry, I should've asked for your name 'fore giving mine!"

Wait a minute, what?!
Momentarily ignoring the pup’s request to play, Alok’s expression melted into something anxious and awful nervous. Miss Roe didn’t need to go apologizing like that - not when she hadn’t done anything wrong to begin with. His golden-tipped ears flattened somewhat, if only to emphasize his unease.
“Ye don’t need ta apologize fer anythin’! R-really, if anythin’ it’s my fault. I shoulda told ya my name when ye first sat down,” he reasoned embarrassingly, his face hot beneath his fur.

"Oh.." She hung her head, 'Good going, Roe! Now not only are you impolite and displeasing but you've upset him!'
Maybe a different approach would settle her fault.
She lifted her head and managed an encouraging smile, "There's no point getting upset, now is there? Let's put this little complication behind us, hm?"

The pup now getting a little bit annoyed at being ignored but amused at seeing the older one arguing over something as silly as names and introductions let out a little sigh and began staring at a little grass hopper on the gress a little way off.

Riina heard voices once she woke up from her short nap. She stalked over and saw many foxes in a small clearing and slowly walked forward.
"Hello," she whispered shyly.

hearing a small voice his attention quickly jumped from the grasshopper he was staring at to the direction in which the voice came from. seeing another pup about his age he quickly got up and pounced on her.
