That's the thing. Their software isn't anything grand either. It has similar graphics to that of some PS2 games.

What don't you understand about what i keep putting. it's not about power its about gameplay. i don't give a s**t if a game has fantastic graphics if it boring to play i will not get it.
they are targeting a casual/non-gaming audience with fun peripherals and yes good games, they may not be core game but that doesn't make them any less good.

See how that works. Just because a console doesn't cater to your need doesn't make it an less popular. Also the Wii is out selling both the 360 and the ps3

Anyway, on the subject....
As you will find out Scourge Angle, prices do not matter as much to Europeans as much as it does to the American body. They view more on quality, I personaly purchased the PS3 for the future releases... (Just to make it clear, I don't mean they don't take the prices in as a factor, but they are not as cheap as a comman American would be...)
My sights were set on the Wii sense the begining, but when it became such a big deal, every store I went to seemed to be emptied in stock of it....

Now you're just talking in circles.
Honestly, the Wii is selling high because of word of mouth. Nintendo could safely bump the price up to $300 and still sell successfully just by reputation. The Wii has become known as the "fun console". Nintendo has been smart to broaden their horizons beyond the same old demographics.
