Rhea licked at Armus's shirt his tail beating harder now that she say he could stay with her and Corrah. "Good."

He tilted his head confused at what kinda of specail training she would be talking bout....were they going to be tested? Was it when the males were ready to mate, would they have to go find other females? He didn't want to be away. At least not now.

He nods, "Fooood Corrahooo" He smile and continued to try and talk. He knew it made Aras happy. Maybe if she let him down he would try to sneak up on the alpha and steal the food.

Armus grinned at Rhea and climbed once more to her feet, carrying him up the mountainside once more.

It was only a short while later that they approached the area where the three of them had been sleeping for the past few nights, and when they were drawing close, Armus set Rhea on the ground. She knew he knew he wasn't allowed to run off again, and she knew that he knew breakfast was just ahead. She wasn't worried about him running away again.

Corrah had finished cooking the fish and was already eating one of them. He hadn't any idea how long the other two would be gone, after all, and there was no point in letting his breakfast go cold. If that was how the others wanted it, so be it - he wasn't going to suffer.

Rhea loved being carried and he looked like a proud little look out in her arms. Ready to protect his mother if he must. Though he knew she would be protecting him more. He wanted to make her proud one day.

When Armus set him down he smiled and winked at her and moved around towards the back of Corrah. He had already started perfecting the silent sneak walk. It was a natural talent for him.

Slowly he moved towards Corrah. He want to get under the cloak and try and shock Corrah. He did love the cloak. And Armus moving in would be a great distraction.

Armus grinned and winked back at Rhea, watching him scamper off to Corrah's blind side. She loved watching him playing with Corrah - it brought out the tender side of the man she loved so much, the side that was otherwise rarely seen. She knew he wouldn't be like that once the other children returned ... she only hoped that Rhea could understand.

"Found him," she announced, skipping up and grabbing one of the fish from the embers. "He was just being silly."

Corrah finished chewing his mouthful, his eyes on his young lover, his expression thoughtful.

"And yet you return without him," he said softly, a mysterious light appearing in his eyes. "I would have thought you would have learned by now, Armus."

His pointed ears twitched slightly, a barely noticeable movement that, to those that knew him very well, indicated that he was listening very carefully for any movement at all. His elven ears were sharp, and he was able to hear more than most people - and he suspected that he might be in for a bit of a surprise ... again.

Rhea was growing rather cleaver at some things. He had started to learn about Corrah's ear twitches. Normally he would run forward then afraid Corrah would move but he would find himself being attacked. So this time when that ear tip wiggled he stopped his movements and watched. He knew his pack mother could distract those ears.

His tail slowed its movements and rested straight behind him ready to help guide his attack. He might not understand human things but Corrah would use the wolf side of Rhea to help train him wail Armus worked on the human side of him.

Armus shrugged at Corrah, making sure not to look at Rhea behind him.

"He cut himself," she explained, lifting her pant leg to show him where she had torn off the material ... and revealing part of her leg in the process. She slipped it a little higher, above her knee, and rubbed gently at a spot on her shin. "There. Just a little cut, but I bandaged it up for him."

Corrah's eyes narrowed slightly, but he couldn't help but lose his concentration as his eyes focused on the slim, muscular leg of his young lover. His ears stopped moving then, and he knelt slightly to get a closer look, as if it was Armus's leg that had been injured.

"Really," he commented softly.

Rhea wanted to laugh. He knew his pack mother was the only one who could tame his pack leader and father. As soon as Corrah started to move forward so did Rhea.

He moved now silently and smiled his one fang, until the other grew back, glinted and he surged forward stealing his father's fish before ducking in and hiding within the cloak of Corrah.

Giggling he lay on his back in the darkness chewing away at the fish. It was is first successful attack. His mother was very good at her job he loved seeing how his mother and father were together.

Corrah was about to reach forward to put his hand on Armus's leg when Rhea suddenly appeared as if from nowhere and stole his fish, then ducked into his cloak.

"Rhea!" he laughed heartily, lifting his cloak to see his new son lying on his back and munching on the fish. On the one hand he was a little annoyed that his breakfast had been confiscated, and that his time with Armus had been cut short - but on the other hand, he was quite proud that Rhea had managed to successfully do what he had done.

He moved to one side, revealing Rhea to the air once more, and smiled fondly down at the boy. Hard to believe only a few days previous he had been annoyed with the boy's presence. Now it was hard to imagine life without him.

Armus was on her back on the ground, rolling back and forth, laughing harder than she had ever laughed in her life.

Rhea gring brightly looking up at Corrah as he pulled the cloak back his tail was wagging and it looked like the fish that was half in his mouth was wagging it's tail too. He loved hearing the alpha laughing. He was so very glad to have the pack he was in now. He loved being with them. He didn't even miss the other pups.

Once he was reviled Rhea rolled to his belly and placing his hands like a wolf would around the fish he started to crunch threw the crispy skin. Then as if suddenly remembering something and no longer being in the cloak he enjoyed almost as much as his mother's arms he took off with his fish back into the bushes.

If Aras was going to be returning she would be hungry so he should bring her the fish and share it. So he had started to run towards the clearing again. Leaving his parents alone again.

Armus's laughter slowly died once Rhea had disappeared, but this time she didn't go after him. She suspected that she knew where he might be going, and if she was wrong ... well, she was certain that he would return on his own. This time, she was certain she hadn't frightened him away.

"He's getting better at sneaking up on you," she grinned at Corrah as she climbed slowly to her feet once more.

Corrah raised one eyebrow at her. "I highly doubt that he could have done it without you distracting me," he pointed out to her. "Though I do agree, he is quieter than he was."

Armus stepped close to Corrah and put her hands on her hips, looking up at him so that her head was tilted nearly all the way back.

"You do realize," she grinned, her eyes sparkling mischievously, "that sometimes it doesn't take a whole lot to distract you."

Corrah chuckled softly and put one hand on the side of her head, running his fingers through her short hair. "Sometimes," he agreed.

Armus grinned. "But not now," she chided him, walking her fingers up the front of his robe. "Right now, we have three trainees to collect."

And she flicked his chin and skipped away, laughing, heading in the same direction Rhea had taken.

Rhea sat in the clearing he had made it in record time. He sat there panting hard almost sitting on the fish he stole. He looked around panting hard. His ears went down a bit confused. He did not see anyone. Aras was not here.

Training partners were suppose to share most things and he wanted to share the half eaten half dusty fish with his soon to be training partner.

He set the fish down and lay next to it his chin resting on his hands. He hoped at least he had made things up with the alphas.

It wasn't long before Armus joined Rhea in the clearing, still wearing her torn pants and grinning smugly at the disappointment she knew she had caused her lover. She loved to tease him - sometimes it was just too easy, though there were times, she had to admit, when it was impossible, when he was the one who did all of the teasing.

"I knew I'd find you here!" she laughed, settling down beside Rhea and flicking the end of his tail back and forth. "Well, it looks like we have nothing to do but wait. They should be here soon, I would think."

Her tone was reassuring - she knew how much Rhea was looking forward to the return of his fellow trainees.

And indeed, not far away now, Celebor was heading up the mountain with Aras on one shoulder and Kanis on the other. Ruran of course would never suffer the indignity of being carried, he was far too proud - and Ruque had stayed home with Niyana, and the promise of having something new and delicious for Celebor when he returned home that night.

"Nearly there," Celebor said cheerfully to the three children of his that were going to be training. "Are you all looking forward to this?"

Aras simply nodded, her eyes focused on the trees ahead. She wanted to see if she could recognize any landmarks before they arrived, as Armus had encouraged them to do ...

Rhea turned his head to watch his mother flicking his tail. He didn't mind it much though he started to flick it the other way making it a bit harder for her and teasing her.

He wanted to see Aras. He hoped she was doing better. And Corrah was looking forward to training them all but it seemed like they needed everyone there for that. He turned his head back and nosed the fish. "Arras..." he said wondering if she would be happy with just a fish or if he should catch a rabbit for her instead.

Kanis nods, "Yes I am very much looking forward to this...I will try to make you all proud. " She smiled and knew that they had to be coming to the clearing soon.

Ruran shrugged as he walked. Well it would keep him away from his mother and his annoying brother. He would find out how to take care of his two sisters. And he still had not forgotten that he was going to find a way to make Corrah sorry.

Armus giggled a bit and tried a bit harder to catch Rhea's tail, taking this small form of amusement at face value while they waited for the others to arrive.

She smiled at Rhea's comment.

"Yes ... Aras," she said softly, reaching out to scratch him behind the ears. "Is she the one you're most looking forward to seeing? Special friend, perhaps?"

She thought it was cute, to be honest. And Rhea needed someone special to spend time with, if only so that she and Corrah could get a bit of alone time once in a while.

That was seriously going to be cut back from now on.

Celebor smiled warmly at Kanis. "You're already making both your mother and me quite proud," he told her softly. "As long as you do your best ... we can ask for nothing more."

He paused in his step, then knelt to set the girls on the ground.

"We're nearly there," he told them with a smile. "Do you think you two could lead the way?"

Aras looked at Kanis, surprised. "Um ... what do you think?" she asked timidly, her voice shaking a little bit. She didn't have any confidence in her own ability to lead the rest of the way ... but she knew Kanis was more observant ...

Rhea felt his mother's fingers almost grap ahold of his tail before she moved to scratch behind his ear. His eyes started to shut, just enjoying the touch. A specail friend? He did not know what she ment.

"Spe...specccaaoru frrrriend?" His tail slowed as he tried to figure her words.

Kanis nods as she was set down. Well they had already been walking towards it. So it was fair to say that it would be still in that direction. She smiled at Aras. "Yes we can show you the way." she gave a friendly smile, "I am sure she wants to see Rhea again..." she leaned close to her sister and whispered, "Maybe if you howl he will call back to you and we can find them."
