Felinse Okay, I suppose that's a good idea. One centaur for each of the aspects in each group, so that'd be nine in total, three for each. It'd give more people more chances. And I think the speeches and what else should be posted in the guild, because it gives better access to the members, it'll stay there for people who couldn't be on at the time for the speeches. I'll talk to the plot people if I can whee True, you have a point. And I hope the plot people go for it, I think this would be really good for the storyline.

I like this idea.
The only thing I'm not supporting is the.. um, speeches. Some people are better at writing speeches. That doesn't mean they'll be good leaders, though.

But, we could also have speeches in towns as well as in the forums. I think the towns speeches could be optional if you were running, but more than likely the forum speech should be mandatory. Look at it this way, if you choose to give your speech in towns, you get double the coverage, which could gain you more support. Also, it allows members to ask you questions face to face. How well you answer could play a key factor as well in determining whether or not you get votes.

«×¤ψ¤×» Got any ideas for how people will like nominate themselves then? ninja I'm stumped. But we need to know how they would react in situations. But I get your point. being able to write a good speech doesn't mean you can lead the masses. We should have trials as well I think, where they're faced with dilemmas. We need to see how they react under pressure, and their leading capabilities.

Can the bratty, less mature centaurs play pranks on them?
:D What? I think old people are cute.

The idea of centaur elders is an awesome idea. Perhaps instead of writing speeches, since as someone previously pointed out, not everyone can do it. Perhaps those that contribute and participate the most in this guild should be chosen as elders?

I also think if they fail part of the performance in becoming an elder (whether it be the speeches/participation or the trials) we should vote on whether we keep them as a runner or not.
If we choose not to through a majority vote, I think the runner up to them should be given a chance to try and become an elder.

That's a nice idea, we could have them head a group for each of the aspects they represent. They could have a large bit of power but I'd be concerned with only have three maybe six or nine so as to balance out the distrobution of power.
