Milo sat to lick at one paw near Archard's feet, then stood, looking over at Cosette through wide curious eyes.
Archard smiled warmlyt. "Don't get me wrong. Rain days are nice too. You can stay inside, sleep in. And have hot cocoa." he said, looking down to watch the two felines interact, watching to see what they would do. He liked Aiden's response to his suggestion. "I'm glad to hear it. Anything you have in mind?"

Cosette approached Milo slowly, mewing once before she sat down in front of the other cat, head tilted curiously.
"Now, those are the kind of days that I adore." Aiden smiled as he imagined doing exactly as Archard described, scrunching up his shoulders breifly with a sound of pleasure. His gaze darted down to the cats, but just as quickly returned to Archard's face, looking...mischevious. "I seem to remember, a very long time ago, you agreeing to let me take you shopping." Oh, it was such a very evil look. XD

Archard blinked, and smiled as the memory returned to him. "...So I did! I think I'd rather enjoy such a trip." He smiled brightly. Kami had been commenting he'd been needing a few new clothes. He'd just started school, and it wouldn't hurt to make some new additions to his rather worn-out wardrobe. Aiden's expression made him a little nervous, but he hoped it was only playful.
Milo mewled, and sniffed at Cosette lightly, before rubbing up against her forepaws in a friendly manner, padding away a few steps to give her her space.

Aiden was happy that he remembered, which mostly saved him the trouble of having to re-convince the other boy to go shopping with him. He really did love shopping for clothes, and he wanted to do something with Archard so...it all worked out, in the end. He smiled just as brightly as the other boy. "Wonderful." He thought about it for a second. "Nearest shopping mall's not really in walking distance tho'. My house is, we could stop off there and get Audi to drive us." It'd be interesting to let Archard see his house.
Cosette purred softly, moving forward to rub up against the other kitten's chest.

Archard smiled, and nodded, leaning down to pick up Milo. "Alright then...is there a phone in here? I want to phone my mom and tell her where I'm going..." Archard casted a few glances about as he secured the little kitten in his pouch, where he stuck his head out with amew, a bit miffed to be kept under wraps again. He seemed collected on the outside, but there were butterflies in his stomach. He'd never been on a shopping trip like this one...

"Huh. I don't...know." Aiden glanced around him. "I've never seen one. But you figure there has to be, right?" Alright, before shopping trip...one quick search of the mansion. He mimicked the motion of stooping to collect his kitten, depositing Cosette on his shoulder once more. "Should we go looking for it? 'Cause, yeah, you should definatly call your mom. I don't want you getting in trouble for my sake or anything."

Archard thought for a moment. "There's a phone at your house, right? I could probably just call her from there. I'm sure she won't mind." he chuckled a bit. He knew his mother wouldn't mind. She was the one who was constantly encouraging him to make more friends. And he didn't want to waste any time here than they needed too, though he did feel a bit nervous. He'd been to a mall once or twice, when Kami had taken him. They were such big places, or they had been to him back then.

"Oh yeah." Aiden laughed, a slight blush on his cheeks at forgetting about, y'know...home. "That's right. Alright! Shall we go?" He gave one last cursory glance at the mansion. He'd come back soon, hopefully see some other people as well.

"Of course." Archard said with a grin, and headed towards the door, snapping the flap to Milo's pouch shut so the little cat wouldn't be able to jump out. "Your house far?" he asked, looking back at Aiden curiously. It would be odd to be in another's home. He still had butterflies, though he seemed to be doing a good job of concealing them.

Aiden followed him, smiling and now folding his arms over his chest. The thought popped into his mind that Archard was still as adorable, somehow, as he had been when he was younger. Aiden liked it that the boy was more outgoing, though it robbed him of the challange of getting Archard to be more social. "Nah, only a 15 minute walk." He smiled. "Otherwise I'd have Audi drive me or something." Not that he minded walking, he just didn't like to do it too much.
Cosette kept her perch with ease, used to riding in this postion by now.

"Right. Onward, then." Archard said cheerfully, and held the big door open for Aiden. He really had changed since he'd been a kid. Interaction with the many members of Kami's family, and Mekt, had made him much less of a shy person. It was for the best, Kami had always worried he would always be alone.
Milo snuggled down into the pouch, seeing that his complaints would be ignored, for the most part.

Aiden smiled as he slipped past Archard, out the door and onto the large pathway that led to the main gate. Once out, he turned around to wait for his friend, glancing around him. It was a beautiful day out, perfect for the walk back home.

(Crud, I'm so sorry >_< Guilds haven't been working so well for me lately, and I tend to forget them until they act better. Sorry!)
Archard followed, and closed the door gently. Looking about, he began to move across the drawbridge quickly. It had always made him anxious, and then somewhat fascinated. He'd heard alligators lived in it, but he wasn't all so sure whether it was true or not. At least it wasn't nighttime. Far scarier when it was at night, crossing the bridge.

Aiden waited at the other end of the drawbridge, hands on his hips and a smile on his face. "C'mon! S'not like you're going to fall off." He called out to Archard, laughing slightly afterwards. He was in a very good mood now, knowing that this was going to be fun!

Archard ran to catch up, snickering at Aiden's words. "I know, but it would suck if I did. Aren't there alligators in there?" he said, laughing. The idea was preposterous, now that he actually thought about it. He caught up to Aiden and gave him a very gentle, playful push, before darting ahead a bit, as if daring the other to a race, which he was sure he'd decline.
