The world isn't ending- its just changing, as the world has done countless times. "Global warming" has happened before, and it will happen again. Thousands of species of mammal, reptile, insect, and algae have become extinct, without the world ending, and I'm sure thousands more will.
Though I will say, that the global warming scare has helped people take better care of our mother earth, which is a very positive change.
