I agree there's only so much company your three headed dog can give you. Same with your underlings. I think he must have been lonely and Persephone would be able to make the underworld slightly more Cheery.

i agree that people need to give him a break, he was essentially created to be the way he is and he's just doing his job

Exactly! It doesn't help that Disney made him out to be a villian in Hercules.

lol nice signature.
and yeah, now I KNOW this guild needs more subforums.
but back on topic, I'd like to point out the interesting fact that in PJO, Hades was the only one who actually kept his oath. PJO differs a bit about the portrayal of some things, but I'm just pointing that out.

You're right Hades was the only one who kept his oath and he backed off as soon as his cap was returned to him whereas Zeus still hates his guts and would gleefully kill him if he stepped foot on a plane.

That's true... though that wasn't even what I was talking about. I meant that of the three gods who swore not to sire any more mortal children, he was the only one who kept it. In book 3 Athena even commented she found that fact ironic.

I honestly feel bad for poor Hades. I agree that he is very lonely. He isn't as bad as most people think... BUT... He gets a three-headed dog.

I can empathize with Hades, I'm sure the underworld is really lonely and Persephone would make good company. He shoulda asked obviously but at least it turned out pretty well.

True. He should ahve but he knew Demeter would say no. YEah but like I said earlier there's only so much company a 3 headed dog can give.
