"I'm sorry, I'm just so happy and touched. This is all so perfect, and you even remembered that I loved Tera Mesu...." She leaned her face into his paw as he wiped away tears. "I would have this moment no other way."
Her voice lowered a little. "Thank you, Sir Ioriel...." She leaned forward and softly kissed him. "Thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything...."

Ioriel smiled softly, the distress was chased away and replaced with warmth. "That kiss from lips as sweet as yours was all the thanks that I needed Lady Saturn."

Saturn chuckled and nuzzled him softly. "Then my lips will always be yours, Ioriel. Now, I believe it's time for you to try some tera mesu...." She smiled and pulled out the delicious desert from the basket, feeling herself beginning to salivate a little over the aroma alone.

"I must admit that I am very eager to try this treat." It was true. Ever since Saturn told him about it he had been curious to try it. It had taken forever to find the recipe.

Saturn smiled and found an eating utensil, taking a small portion of it and scooping it up. "Here, open your mouth. It's time to find out what you've missed out on for so long!"

Saturn giggled and gently placed the bite sized piece of the dessert into his mouth. "Well, what do you think?" She smiled, waiting to hear his thoughts.

Ioriel rolled the treat around in his mouth, delighted at the taste. He swallowed and licked his lips. "It is very good Lady Saturn."

Saturn smiled and took a bite herself, enjoying the dessert greatly as well as the company. Closing her eyes, she leaned against Ioriel, unable to stop herself from smiling.

Ioriel smiled when he felt the familiar pressure against his side. His snow white tail that seemed to glow in the night wrapped around Saturn's as he nuzzled the top of her head.

All through the night, Saturn felt the natural high of being in such a blissful state of mind. She could think of no way better to spend her evening than in the company of Ioriel, and the fact that it was a date for just them made it even better. Once the food had been eaten and the candles dimming, she looked up at the stars, smiling. From the beach, she could see the faint glimmer of her guardian planet, and part of her wished she could show Ioriel the beauty of the night and share it with her.

Ioriel was filled with a contentment that he had not felt in a long time. A small part of him did yearn for sight so that he could look up at the stars, or at the face of the woman he loved. He would trade almost anything for just a glimpse at Saturn's face. But he would make do with just basking in her present. Inhaling the lovely scent that was distinctly hers, and listening to the beat of heart.

Eventually Saturn closed her eyes, leaning into Ioriel fully, beginning to doze off while basking in his presence. She was so comfortable resting there beside him, and nothing could replace the calmness that she felt now whenever she was around him. A small purr escaped her throat and a smile rested naturally on her lips.

Ioriel noted as Saturn's breathing began to slow, indicating that she was nearing sleep. He turned his head to nuzzle the top of hers as he whispered, "Would you like to stay the night with me here on the beach Lady Saturn?"

Saturn slowly opened her eyes, listening to his whispers, and her smile widened a little. "I would love to spend the night with you, Sir Ioriel...." Her tail wove around his even more and she nuzzled into him. "Thank you for the most wonderful evening of my life."
