Satu continued to stare at the window sill, knowing that he was being horribly rude. After all he hadn't looked at Audric in a while, while speaking to him. That was the height of being rude in Satu's book but he simply couldn't bring himself to look at the boy. He was just to embarrassed. He was sure that at this point Audric was probably very annoyed with him. After all he had come out into the night because he was nervous and now he had been roped into possibly the most awkward conversations Satu had had in his entire life. But as much as Satu tried to prevent the situation from getting anymore awkward his embarrassment stopped him. Satu felt that he was just making the situation far far worse and he really disliked himself for it.

He was glad from the air conditioning, very, very glad. The night was quite muggy and the last thing Satu wanted on top of all the embarrassment so far was to be warm and sweaty. Summer evenings were really not Satu's friends as with his pale features he tended to to get red quite easily. It was something he really hated about himself but for once the air conditioning was being his friend, even if it was blowing his hair into his eyes, which was getting quite annoying. His expression changed to annoyed for a second while he tried to blow the hair out of his face. It didn't work.

Satu looked up at Audric caught off guard for a second. "You thought what?" he asked, his voice sounding astonished rather then mad. He looked at Audric in complete disbelief. Satu really didn't think that he was that good of a singer, in fact Satu was pretty sure that he was useless at it so the boy simply couldn't understand how Audric though it was good. In his moment of confusion Satu lost all embarrassment and just stared at Audric straight in the eyes, completely at a loss. "But...my voice is horrible! And I can hardly play the guitar! How can you seriously think that that was good?" he almost shouted, leaning out the window in his passion. He was about to ask if Audric was deaf but stopped himself. That was being a bit to rude, even for Satu.

Satu then realised what he had just done and pulled himself back into the room, leaning against the window sill again. Now he was annoyed at himself for asking Audric such a question. He knew it was rude and stupid but Satu simply couldn't understand how Audric actually thought the song was beautiful. The song that he had sung was in fact a very pretty song but Satu was less the impressed at his own version of it. In Satu's eyes he simply hadn't done the song justice and he thought it was almost criminal for someone to hear him butcher the song like that. Of course to anyone else the song was anything but butchered, but Satu was being his normal perfectionist self and thus was positive that he had done something truely horrible to the song.

So Satu went back to his original blushing position, glancing at Audric sheepishy, coughing slightly. "Sorry about that." he muttered looking back at the window sill. Stupid, stupid, stupid.

To relax himself a bit, Audric closed his eyes and rested a cheek in one hand. In the rush of the situation he'd forgotten what time it was, midnight. The night was slowly starting to take its toll on Audric. In is room he felt buzzed with energy, but out here the sleepy stars reminded Audric's brain that he shouldn't be up at this time. Soon it would be morning and he would be rushed off into the busy world of the theater. It was all he could do to keep himself awake. Then suddenly Audric's head bobbed and thrushed him back into the world of the awake.

Audric watched Satu carefully as he fought momentarily with his hair. He silently wondered if it was reliving to have something besides this awkward situation to worry about, even if it was only for a second. The only thing Audric could do was stare at his shoes, but that didn't really take his mind of the situation. His mind couldn't focus on too much at once, and right now it already had too much to think about.

When Audric finished talking, Satu made a rather odd outburst that made Audric take a half step back. He wasn't quite sure what Satu's response to his comment was going to be, so his astonishment suprised Audric. Any one else might have found Satu's outburst rude, but Audric knew better. The way Satu rambled on about the flaws, it was obvious that he wasn't content with his performance. The site of Satu leaning out the window as he completely ripped into his abilities brought laughter to Audric's face. This merely proved what a good musician he was. No good musician could ever be content with their last performance; there was always something to improve in their eyes.

Audric knew Satu would think he was crazy, but he absolutely couldn't stop laughing. It had been a while since Audric had gotten to see Satu seem so, alive. The whole consersation proir had been to tense, laughing was a huge relief. Audric even had to put an arm on his stomach because of the pain. After what seemed like the longest minute ever, Audric calmed himself and took a deep breath. His eyes were slightly wet with tears from the laughter when he finally looked back up to Satu. Then he readied himself to speak again.

To answer Satu's question, even though he probably wasn't expecting an answer, Audric put it simply with a small smile and shrug, "I like what I like." Then he continued with, "And you don't have to apologize! You're allowed to have an opinion too."

Satu watched Audric with wary eyes. The boy seemed exhausted. He really shouldn't be up this late if he was performing tomorrow but Satu was equally sure that it was nerves that were keeping the boy awake. Or thats what he hoped anyway. He really hoped it had nothing to do with this little meeting, though the voice nagging at the back of his mind was telling him that that was indeed the case.

Satu absentminded tied his hair backup in its messy pony tail, the air conditioning starting to annoy him. Once his hair was tamed and tied up Satu felt a little better, for a few seconds at least, until the awkward situation came back to his mind. There had to be a way to made this less awkward, somehow.

Satu's eyes widened when Audric started laughing. Why was he laughing. Surely it wasn't because of his little outburst. But Satu knew it was and simply started at the boy until he was done with an odd look on his face. He could see how it would have been amusing from Audrics point of view. After all he just kind of started shouting out of the blue. Satu wasn't sure whether he was slightly insulted that Audric wasn't taking this as seriously as he was or if he was amused by the whole affair. So he stared at Audric with a strange look on his face until the other boy had calmed down slightly, which took a while.

Satu looked at him confused. "But how could you like that. I mean you listen to music, you have a really good taste in music. You, of all people, should know just how terrible that performance was! It was shoddy at best, deafening at worst!" he said. He simply didn't get Audric at the moment. How could he have liked that? It was simply awful and mediocre. "Well I still apologize for having to make your ears listen to that." he muttered, sinking down onto the window sill, the air conditioning ruffling his tied up hair.

The boy looked up, suddenly realizing how rude he was being. He hadn't invited Audric into the music room at all. Now that was just rude and a little bit mean in Satu's opinion. "By the way." he said, trying to sound nonchalant, "Would you like to come in? It seems silly to have you standing outside." he said truthfully.

To be totally honest, tomorrow's performance was now the last thing on Audric's mind. Thinking about it only made him more nervous, and being nervous just made him more tired. Seeing as it was now past midnight, Audric really didn't need anything else to wear him out. Everything seemed so mush simplier when Audric let all other thoughts go. During rehearsals, nervousness never crossed Audric's mind. But now that a room full of people would be criticizing his every movement, Audric's stomach had butterflies. He wanted dearly to uphold the standards of the other performers and, more importantly, do justice to the play. These were the thoughts that clouded Audric's mind for many days and nights. But now, Audric could forget about these troubles and instead focus his attention on Satu.

Audric watched as Satu pulled his hair back, and unconsciously flicked away the hair that clung to the sweat on his neck. It was far too warm outside for Audric to be wearing long-sleeved pajamas. Audric silently wished his hair was long enough to even pull half of it back.

After his bout of uncontrolled laughter, Audric was greeted with the oddest expression on Satu's face. It was a mixture of confusion, embarrassment, and insultment. Audric in no way meant to be rude, but the whole situation up until now had him tensed up like a stretched rubber band. Laughing seemed to be the only way to lighten the mood, but apparently it didn't do anything but confuse Satu. Audric's face took on a small tint of red and he silently cursed himself for being an idiot. Sometimes Audric unconsciously forgot to think of others before he burst out with a thought. Needless to say, that's not the best trait for a person to have.

Despite his explaination, Satu still couldn't understand how Audric could possible like his singing. Audric couldn't help but think how silly Satu looked as he ranted on about what a terrible singer he was. Most people would have a grossly inflated ego by now! To Audric, this was another interest side to Satu that he hadn't known about. Just when you think you know a person, they suprise you with something new. Audric knew it was hopeless to try to make Satu understand, so he simply said, "You just let me worry about my ears. I think they'll live."

After Satu's suggestion, Audric took a look around him. He was standing in the middle of the grass at midnight in his pajamas. This seemed fine earlier, but Audric had been half asleep then. Now he felt extremely stupid. Not to mention the bottoms of his pants were soaked from the dew. "Yeah," Audric said, embarrassed, "that seems like a good idea." Looking around, Audric spotted an old gray door and hopped inside. It wasn't hard to find Satu's room, seeing as it was the only light on in the whole place.

Thinking of nothing else to say, Audric tried to make a joke, "It's nice to see you at eye level." The second the words left his mouth Audric knew they were just plain dumb. But his brain wasn't quite functioning at full power tonight.

Satu calmed down after a little while. After that little outburst he had felt a good bit better. He wanted to still ask Audric about his wierd ears, which heard his song as good. Still he couldn't do anything about it if Audric thought it was good. Satu didn't want to believe that he was actually telling the truth. After all that would just be silly.

Satu then laughed quietly. "Fine I'll let you worry about your ears. I mean you may need to go see a doctor or something though. Just making the observation." he said with a grin. "That or you can't have heard that many people sing before...I guess?" He said almost laughing again.

Satu drummed out a beat on the windowsill with his fingers while waiting for Audric to come up. The balmy night didn't make the boy sleepy but infact requvinated him. He felt alive and awake and creative, which he hadn't felt in a long time. With all the comotion in his house he found it hard to breath in their, none the less practice in the chaos. He loved his family but sometimes it just got too much for him. It was also overly girly. Too much squeling at every little thing. That and his stalker was bothering him once again, which helped nothing.

Satu watched Audric walking over to the door, noting ho he seemed embaressed by him asking him if he wanted to come in. It wasn't really his intention to make him embaressed but he thought the boy might be sick of standing out in the dew. He may get sick and thats the last thing that should happen to Audric.

Satu grinned lopsidedly at Audric's slightly failed joke. "Indeed." he said turning around from his sill and standing up. He walked over to Audric and said, with a teasing grin. "You're still not exactly eye level though are you?" He was right though. He was still quite a bit taller then Audric, though Audric was hardly short himself.

((I'M BACK ;^; ))

Audric hadn't ever met another real 'singer' besides Satu before, so he wasn't sure if all of them were as goofy as Satu. Satu seemed to deny that he was a good singer with every fiber of his being. Normally, with his recent moodiness, Audric would have become impatient and given up on Satu. It was probably the fact that Audric was extremely sleepy, but almost everything Satu was saying sounded silly and cute.

Despite the lack of overwhelming humor in Satu's last response, Audric started laughing again. After wiping some tears out of his eyes Audric replied, "Go to the doctor? Thanks, but being poked with ice-cold tools isn't really my thing. And I definitely don't want them in my ears!"

"Annnd, for your information, I've seen so many musicals in my day that they all kinda run together now." Audric continued to say as he worked his way up. He wasn't even sure if Satu could still hear him as he entered the building, so Audric just turned the volume up. "The other day I had a dream where the Phantom was singing 'Be Our Guest.'" By the end of this sentence, Audric was staring at Satu.

Tentatively, Audric walked into the room. His eyes wandered about the room and eventually made their way back to Satu. While Audric moved closer, Satu made the obvious comment that he was taller. As if he doubted Satu, Audric moved closer to Satu until he was only a few inches away. Then Audric squinted his eyes and looked Satu up and down.

Maybe it was the walk up to the room, or maybe it was the fact that Audric had almost closed his eyes, but all of the sudden Audric was extremely tired. Satu's face slowly became foggy and the next Audric felt was Satu's shoulder as his forehead smacked into it.

((I missed you|! <33))

Satu laughed. "I guess it would be a bit of a pain to go to the doctors but I still think that I'm totally not at all a good singer! There is most definatly something wrong with your hearing those Audric!" he grinned.

Satu listened intently as Audric talked. He really didn't understand him. "Then the musicals you most have gone too were sung by very bad singers. Thats the only way I'm afraid!" he said laughing. He raised his voice as Audric went around, making sure that he could here him.

Satu made another comment about Audrics height, in a teasing fashion which was only done with kindness. He didn't notice that here was anything wrong until he felt Audrics weight on his shoulder. He looked down, catching Audric before he slumped down onto the ground. "Audric?!" Satu exclaimed, supporting all of the boys weight. "Audric wake up! Audric!" he exclaimed trying to shake the boy awake.

Satu slowly lowered himself to the ground so that he wouldn't have to support all of Audrics weight. Satu wasn't very strong really. He knelt down, placing Audrics head on his knee. He watched him, waiting anxiously for the boy to wake up. He couldn't help noticing in this panic Audrics long eyelashes. Satu watching him while hoping to god the boy was alright.[/color

((I haven't RPed in soo long! It's fun 8DD ))

Audric laughed and motioned with a short wave at Satu's last comment. This boy is stubborn! Audric thought, shaking his head in defeat. Satu may have won this round, but Audric would definitely get him back. Even now the plans ran through Audric's head, I'll just make a 'world's best singer' poster and stick it to his dorm room...I might even draw a little Satu on it...How fun!

Satu's voice became a quiet blur of words as Audric entered the building, but he could assume that Satu was still trying to convince he that he was a terrible singer. Audric could only make out the words 'musicals' and 'very bad singers,' but those were all he needed to hear.

In what only seemed like a moment, Audric had gone from standing before Satu to suddenly on the ground. For a few seconds Audric had absolutely no idea what on earth was going on. But as the room came back into focus, Audric realized that something very weird had just happened. First, Audric could no longer see the open window and was instead greeted by a very white wall with a few random, music-themed posters tacked on it. Second, Audric could feel the freezing cold floor through his pajama pants. With a small yelp, Audric tried to hop up, but failed and landed his butt right back on the cold floor. It wasn't until this time that Audric stopped to consider why he wasn't completely sprawled out on the floor; Satu.

Holy crap! Audric thought with a panic. Did I just seriously pass out? And on SATU?! Audric felt slightly worse after his failed attempt to get up, so he slowly lifted his head until his eyes met Satu's. Audric was half expecting Satu to be giving him an odd look, since he did just pass out on him, but to Audric's relief Satu only looked concerned. As Audric rested his head on Satu's knee, he couldn't help but think that this was the kindest anyone at Ouran has treated him. Since the last thing Audric wanted to do was worry Satu, he decided to try and down-play the situation. With one hand on Satu's shoulder, Audric steadied himself and brought himself into a normal sitting position. With his other hand, Audric adjusted his glasses which had been knocked askew.

As Audric fiddled with his glasses, he was desperately searching for something to say, but everything sounded stupid. There was no way Audric was going to tell Satu that 'he was very sleepy.' Yeah, that sounded real mature. As the moments stretched on, Audric could feel the warm on his cheek gradually spread. Averting his eyes away from Satu's, Audric choked, "Kinda warm in here, isn't it?" Audric wanted to get up and run out of the room at the speed of light, but he knew he wasn't capable of running at this moment.

(I know! I havn't Rped in ages either!))

Satu watched the boy with serious concern strewn across his face. Audric must really be exhausted if he went as far as actually passing out. No one had ever collapsed like that in front of him before so he was a bit shocked by this. He was completely unsure what to do. Should he ring the hospital in case it was more then just being overly tired. What if there was something else wrong with him?

As Satu panicked about what to do with Audric the boy who was lying on his lap jerked awake, scaring Satu. He prevented himself from jumping, he was to busy breathing a sign of relief that the boy who had passed out on his lap a few seconds ago seemed to be alright.

Satu stayed perfectly still as Audric straightened his glasses and sat up. He watched him with careful eyes, afraid that the boy would collapse again and Satu wouldn't be close enough to catch him. Satu nodded his head, his eyes fixed on Audric. "Yes it is quite warm in here." he said statically, still watching the boy for fear he would collapse again.
