[[XD ok sounds good to me. but once Amitse finds how he was using her he's gonna get an a** kicking from hell and back XD. she's no pushover ^,^]]
Amitse held her item closer to herself a bit wearily but her attention perked when he said there was another more powerful item "....and how would that rid of my pain and of your imprisonment?" the idea was foggy to her but she was willing to listen. her red eyes showed a bit of emotion but were still quite dull.
Atem looked at Akiko "oh...sorry I though you were someone else. yes lets head to the park." he smiled and began to walk.

Akiko chuckled and said to Yugi, "Oh stop kidding around like that." How could he think she was somebody else when he knew she was her? Oh well, he was probably dazed out or something. They headed to the park. Once there, Akiko looked around. "Nice park," she complimented. "So, what did you guys bring for us to do?" she asked.
Joey also wasn't sure what Yugi meant. He did not know the mysteries of the Millennium Puzzle or that another soul existed in Yugi's body. They arrived at the park.
"Because," he said with a grin, "it gives the holder one wish. I can wish for my own body and you can wish for your pain to go away. You can even keep the item when we're done." Marik was stretching the truth a bit. Yes, it did grant Yugi a wish because he solved it. The only way to get another wish like that was to get all the items- but he didn't tell her that. And he certainly wasn't going to give the item to her- in fact, she'll never be able to use it in anyway. "If you don't believe me, look at the one who has it already. Yugi- he had no friends at one point but he wished for them. Once he had the puzzle he had friends. A bit more then coincidence, right?" he said. "We just have to steal it from him. But he won't just give it up, no. That's where I need you..." Marik pasued and backed away. He caught his breath and then said, "I'm sorry, seems my host wishes for this session to end. I'll have to leave you for now. When my stregnth returns, I will find you." Marik disappeared from her shadow realm.
Malik was able to gain control back. He was thrown back into reality. He laid there on the ground- screaming as if in agony. Her shadow realm put a toll on his soul. He gasped for air and tried to get up. He couldn't, he had to regain his strength. The things he saw and felt, she was no different from him.

Amiste came back to reality her expression blank as she looked at Malik. she then turned and began to walk away alone. she was thinking about what Marik had said she whispered quietly ".....the real question is if i can trust him..." she gave Malik one last empty look before heading into an alleyway and towards the graveyard where her parents were buried. she sat down by their grave "why did you have to go and leave me alone in this reached world with a family who could care less about me...." she looked at her wrists and ran a finger across the scars as tears welled up in her eyes.
Atem quickly let Yugi back out before anything else got started.
Yugi laughed nervously "sorry i wasn't really myself." he then thought "hmm well do you duel?" he looked at akiko sweetly.

Malik finally regained his strength and sat up. Who was this girl? He was able to hear in what Marik and her spoke of. He knew his sinister yami too well. Everything he told her was a lie. Yes, Malik wanted to get the item for himself and destroy the Pharoah- he didn't need her to get mixed up in this. And the things he felt, she was like him. Well, they're suffering was in different forms, but how he felt was how she felt. He couldn't let her be hurt again, because he knew he could never be hurt again. He stood up, holding the rod in his hand. He put it away and continued. He knew of some place to stay- some cheap hotel. He could probably stay even longer without paying if he just took over someones mind. He stopped, why bother with a nasty cheap motel when he could get a nice one for free? He smirked and went off to find a really nice place to stay.
[[should Malik run into Amitse or walk around after he settles in and see her?]]
Akiko giggled a bit- guess he was dazed off. Oh well, happens to her too sometimes. "Duel? As in duel monsters? Oh yea, I do. I'm not that good but I still play. I think I eve have my deck...." she said drifting off with her last sentence. She looked through her bag for her deck. "Ah ha! Got it!" she said cheerfully.
Joey laughed to himself, "Oh really? Well don't feel bad cause Yugi here kicks everybodies but in duel monsters."
Akiko looked at Joey, "J-just because I say that I'm not that good doesn't mean I'll definately lose," she said. But she was right, she wasn't that good because she taught herself. Her friends at home weren't into the game so she barely had any practice.

sadness usually took over after her anger and when she was usually sad Amitse would usually get depressed and it would go down hill from there.
Amitse sat beneath a large angel that stood ontop of her parents monument as a guardian. her gaze looking at the lights of the sky but her eyes did not reflect the light. "...... who am I kidding there will never be a place where the likes of me can belong. My aunt is right and always has been." she slid off and sat before the monument, on her knees. she then slowly ran a finger across the names of her parents. "you were the only ones who loved me." she had a few flowers that she bought for them earlier and gently sat them down "but without the only love I've ever had i doubt i can last much longer in this world..."
Yugi smiled and laughed "yeah but now i just want to play for fun and i can help you improve Akiko." he brought out his deck. "that is if you want me to." he smiled sweetly while blushing slightly.

He found the location of a nice hotel and made his way to it. However, the quickest way was to cross through the graveyard. He made his way to the enterence of the graveyard and saw somebody there. He hide behind a column and peeked. It was that girl again- Amitse. He gulped a bit, even though he was in control and Marik was sent back to the back of his mind- he didn't want her around him. He felt that she would become attached or worse..... he would be attached to her. They were so much a like. If they were to be close- it would be easy for Marik to use her. And even though he wanted the Millennium Puzzle like Marik did- he was going to get it himself. Sure, he had a minion of people he used to get it- but they joined now the risk. Marik lied to her. Malik was so confused, he sat behind the column.
Akiko nodded cutely, "Uh huh. Could you help me?" She handed him her deck. "Do you want to take a look at it? I don't think I built my deck all that well," she said. She was right, her deck was too big and she had too many traps compared to monsters. She couldn't help it, she liked a lot of cards.
Joey's cellphone went off and he looked at it. He recieved a text message from Tristan. "Guh.... Tristan...." he said to himself. He looked at Akiko and Yugi and said, "Hey, Tristan just texted me. He said he needs help with his motorcycle. So I'll see you guys later ok?" He waved them goodbye as he left.
"Bye Joey," she said waving him off. Her and Yugi were sitting at a picnic table so they could duel.

Amitse heard someone but ignored whoever it was. she sighed and stood up as her hair moved slightly in the breeze. "after helping him I'll fade away, even if i get rid of them it wont make my sorrow and emptiness go away. in order to free myself I must fade from existence. It's the only way...." she then began to walk away from her parents grave. "theres nothing left for me here so why bother living on?" she had long given up hope for a better life. it just began to show how much she did. "once Marik is done using me to get that Item I doubt he'll keep his end of the bargain and i really could care less. as for Yugi Moto, he better watch out because I'm one opponent who has nothing to lose." she passed Malik and looked back at him blankly "you're very bad at hiding Malik Ishtar...." her voice was calm as she looked back in front of her and continued on her way.
Yugi waved and then began to look at her deck. "do you want me to fix it? you're first problem is too many cards and your second is not enough monsters. you need some low level monster to protect your life points when there's nothing else to play." he said as he looked up at Akiko "you have some really good cards however." he smiled

Malik remained frozen when he heard her speak to herself. These were things he thought- he wanted to fade away because there had to be a better place then being locked away- waiting for the Pharoah to come. And..... she knew Marik was lying? So then why was she going along with it? He looked up to see that she knew he was there. He stood up and shouted, "Wait!" He paused and then continued, "Why are you going to do this if you know your not going to get anything out of this? What he promised you was a lie." He didn't know why he was telling her that- he shouldn't care, but he did.
Akiko nodded again, "Sure. You can fix it." She listened to his advice and took it. She figured she had too many cards when she saw the size difference in their two decks. "So is it true?" she said with a smile, "are you really that amazing at the game?" She knew nothing of his tournament wins or anything. She did just meet him.

Amitse stopped and turned around to face Malik "I keep my end of the bargain thats just how I work. if he uses me then he uses me. It makes no difference.... that's all others do to me is use me and bring me down. ever since my parents died when I was little I've been alone, used, abused, and tortured." her red eyes showed nothing but suffering "the only two people who ever cared or loved me are dead and apart of me went with them. so I care nothing of this reached world." she spoke calmly. "besides why would you care about me or what I'm doing. why start now when all you did was insult and look down on me when you arrived." her expression became hurt and lonely "you didn't even know me and you still don't."
Yugi laughed "yes I guess you could say that." he began to fix her deck. "can you keep a secret?" he asked as he stopped for a moment and looked up at her.

Malik understood her all too well- except the fact that she would carry out her deal. "I'm the one who wants the item, and I don't need any help from you," he said trying to take control of this situation. His narrowed eyes loosened up when she asked why he would care now, especially after insulting her. "Because you stared at me," he said with his eyes returning to their natural narrowedness, "I don't like being stared at. I've lived my life in a stone underground under the sands. With only one person who understands me- or at least used to. Now I'm in this world who's eyes surround me like vultures." He gripped his hands tightly into fists as he continued. "And even the people who cared for me kept me locked away- it was like a tomb for the living. And then...... they were dead," he said leaving out the fact that Marik killed them. He did not want her to know that. "And nobody understands- not even those who were living that are so called 'close to me'. But you know what? I'm not about to bury my grave yet and lay in it. But you are! And that pisses me off!" he screamed at her. Since they were so much a like, he hated the fact she wanted to just give up. He also couldn't manage his anger, so he found himself screaming at her rather then just talking to her.
"Oh? A secret huh?" she said putting her head down on the table- only using her arms to cushion her chin. "What is it a bad secret or something? I don't wanna know if you robbed a bank or killed somebody," she joked a bit. She then said, "I'm sure it's not anything like that. Sure, you can tell me. I can keep a secret." Akiko was so care free, she wouldn't mind keeping a secret. Although she couldn't imagine what it could be. She kinda hoped it wasn't something bad that she would feel bad about holding.

"I merely looked at you in wonder! not like a vulture! and at least you still have those who care about you and want you around! what's left of my family blames me for my parents death and could care less about me!" Amitse yelled back not daring to back down "and I don't care if you don't need my help. i have a job to do....." she balled her hand into a fist and slammed it into a headstone right next to her causing it to crack "and what does my life mean to you? I accept things for the way they are.... after the years of abuse I gave up. get mad at me all you want it wont change my life, unlike you i have nothing to look forward to. I have no true future......" her fist cracked the strong stone but her hand began to bleed. she didn't flinch at the pain. "think of me how you want but at least you have things to look forward to. that's the only difference between us. I'm tired of the pain and misery that my life brings upon me." her hair moved to show a dark bruise towards the back of her neck. "I just want this never ending pain to fade......" she lowered her head and looked to the side.
Yugi leaned forward "well I have a Yami.... he's basically another spirit. another part of me that lives in this." he held up his millennium puzzle. "he was the one who mistook you for someone else. i think it was your item that triggered it.

"But you stared!" he shouted from his paranoa. He was so paranoaed he mistook simple things for actions that were 'out to get him'. "no, they don't want me around- they want to lock me from the world! They want me live and die in that tomb! My life means nothing to them! I'm only a mere pawn until the Pharoah returns! I'm not waisting my life on something that will never happen!" he shouted, not caring what made sense and what didn't. He watched as she slammed her fist into the gravestone. He was a bit shocked but was more angry. "I had nothing to look forward to until I opened a door to my own path! I'm not ready to lay down and die!" he shouted argumentally. He remembered the scars on her arms as he could also see the bruises on her neck. His anger was redirected at whoever gave her these. He grabbed her arm and made her look at her scared arms, "THIS should make you stronger! THIS shows you that you lived another day. Rejoyce for this, make it stronger, and one day you'll over throw the onces that tie you down!!!" he yelled at her as he kept a firm grip on her. "You take that pain...... and you make it your power....." he added with a growl as he released her arm. He turned his back to her and began to walk away, "Now hurry up," he called for her though he did not explain what to hurry up for.
Akiko lifted her head and blinked at him. "Ooooookay," she said very confused and feeling awkward. Don't tell me he's crazy, she thought to herself. He kinda sounded like he had multiple personality disorder, oh..... why do all the nice people have to have weird psychological issues? "Are, you feeling ok?" she asked trying not to be rude. Afterall, the whole thing sounded strange. She then realized something, "Wait, what did you call it? A what?" she asked. Yami? That sounded familiar, where has she heard that before? She thought long and hard. She remembered now- she..... had a dream. She was a potent dreamer- her mind constantly was going even in her sleep. She remembered these series of weird dreams- the word 'yami' was used a lot. She had to think of what was in them though- it was a while since she had them. Akiko remembered having them the most...... when she got the orb and she was in the hospital.

Amitse rubbed her wrist "even if I get rid of them..... one problem still remains, I have no place to go. your solutions are right but also have flaws." she glared at him "and don't you dare ever grab me like that again." her wrist began to bruise lightly. "and another thing don't take the anger you have towards others out on me! I'm not the one who wanted to lock you away in a god forbidden tomb, I wasn't there to stop any of it and i would have helped you if i could instead of yelling at someone until they went def." she spat as she turned her back on him. "one last thing, if all you value is vengeance then don't get caught up in what I decide to do with my life. we may suffer the same pain but I'm not you, so get over it." she then began to walk away. she decided she'd go to the beach and go for a swim to clear her mind and relax.

Yugi felt embarrassed "well he's not an it. he's much like you and me just a spirit from the past. a Yami is what they are called. spirits sealed away in an item." he said softly.

Akiko blinked a bit. "So, like a ghost?" she said. She felt so uneasy about this- chances were that he was making it up or crazy (which she hoped not), but what if he was right? She couldn't tell. She crossed her arms and smirked, "Ok, prove it," she said, "show me something that would prove to me there is a spirit in the puzzle." She hated to put him on the spot, but she wasn't going to let somebody tease her like this.
Malik clinched his teeth as he heard her defense. Before he could get anything out- she was leaving. He pause for a moment, then finally came to. "Where are you going!?" he scolded as if he had control of where she was going. But by the time he said it, she couldn't hear- and she was gone. He hated not being in control of the situation, he was so angry. He growled to himself, feeling his rage rising. He could hear Marik in his head saying 'that's it, let the anger engulf you'. The evil eye showed on his forehead and Malik went to his knees. He let out a shout and the rock that Amitse hit cracked even more. He huffed and caught his breath. He got up on his feet and began walking the same direction she went. God damnit, he was going to bring her where he was going and she just leaves like that? Hell no, he was going after her and dragging her with him whether she liked it or not.

Amitse felt she was being followed and she growled "now isn't the best time to ******** around with me!" she yelled at Malik as she ran to the gate and jumped over it like the athlete she was and darted towards her house, which was pretty close by.
when she was inside she locked the door. big mistake..... her aunt was home.
the woman glared at Amitse "where the Hell have you been???? the school called and told me you skipped school!!!" she backed the girl into a corner.
Amitse glared at the woman as her anger rose even more "oh like you care?!?! you never care unless it benefits you so quit acting like you have any concern about me!" she slipped past and ran up to her room and slammed the door and locked it. she then began to put some towels in her spare backpack as well as waterproof sunblock.
Yugi nodded "watch the item then look at me after." his item began to glow brightly.
Atem soon took over and the appearance of Yugi changed a bit. his eyes were no longer innocent but remained kind. "I am the spirit of the Millennium puzzle. and no Yugi is not crazy...." he smiled softly.
