Well, Savith's not about to offer so quickly. No, sir, ree, Bob! Instead, he just nods, as if he understood (though clearly, he truly didn't), and said nothing. He merely floated along because Dewpaw, keeping pace with her until she spoke next, all the while, keeping an eye on the surrounding forest.

Dewpaw walked a moment in the silence, but found she did not like it, so used to having a tribe of chatterig elves and wolves around her. Soon, she couldn't help but find a way to end the silence. "So what's it like up there?" she asked alloud instead of sending, ending the silence in boh her head and the woods. Sending just wasn't loud enough for her. "I look up at the sky a lot, from under the trees. Do the trees look the same? Or is it one green field, like the grasslands and the plains? It must be fun to see everything differnetly? And quicker than walking..." she was just talking now, figuring Savith would be most comfortable talking about flight.

Savith glanced at Dewpaw a moment before turning his gaze back toward the path before them. "No, not really. From above, there aren't any branches, but the colors shift slightly, depending on the type of tree or how high they reach," he replied, shrugging slightly. "Fun is a matter of opinion, and speed.. yes, I can go fast sometimes."

Dewpaw glanced at him, her mind telling her to keep talking. She liked when elves opened up and she found Savith to be somewhat fun to talk with, if not a bit distant. But she put that to the fact of hardly knowing each other and to the effects of recent events. "What, you don't think its fun? If it wasn't fun, you wouldn't be flying all the time, right? You'd be walking, even injured, if you didn't like flying so much. Therefor, it is fun." She emphasized the last word be giving Savith a nudge, wondering if he was easily unbalanced in the air.
While she talked, Dewpaw sent out another open send, simply letting her presence be known to whichever elves were close enough to feel her send. She had been hoping Dancer would be there to welcome her, but she knew she hadn't told anyone when she'd return, let alone tell Dancer she was leaving. Not directly, at least. She then began to wonder if Llune had told the others everything. Savith didn't seem to ask questions, so maybe Llune ha done as she asked.

Savith wasn't unbalanced, but he was easily to push about in midair. Afterall, he was drifting more than anything else, and so Dewpaw's nudge met with little resistance. The less resistance one would find in standing at the edge of a pool then reaching out to push at someone floating in the water. "I fly as easily as you walk, or run, or howl," he replied, drifting back into place at Dewpew's side after getting pushed about. (He's such the push over, huh?) "To me, flying is as natural as breathing. One so used to breathing would hardly call it fun."

Dewpaw looked skeptical for a moment, again glancing at Savith. "You don't find it at all fun? Not doing flips and tricks? Not diving down and swooping up with a fresh ravvit for dinner? Not just floating, lost in thought?" She mainly thought of swimming, for she couldn't grasp the feeling of flight. And a hawk, she decided, she compared him to a hawk. She sent with the question her wild emotions of joy when doing something she loved, like moving through the forest on tree branches alone, not letting foot touch ground for miles. She loved it, even though it was natural to her, like breathing. She nudged Savith again, to get the point across, and because she enjoyed seeing him float away for a second then float back.

This time Dancer did hear the young ones send as she fussed with this or that around the cove where they now called home. She stood with a smile sending bck to her. *Welcome back little DewPaw. I was worried about you. How dare you leave without so much as a good by to me.* Her send was joyful and happy. Full of playful teasing with undertones of relief. Like the long exhale of a held breath. *I have so much to tell you.* Down at the cove she had already found her kitty and was making her way now in the direction of Dew. *But first tell me of what you have done while you were gone*

"It has it moments," the glider conceded as he again was pushed 'off course' and took several steps to regain his distance from the cub. His mind took in her joyful acrobatics, and his face fought another frown. He turned his face away, but slowly, as if something in the treeline over yonder had caught his attention.
OOC: Dancer's send open or private? I understand as private so I didn't react to it. Please let me know so i can correct. Thanks!

Dewpaw felt a twinge of guilt at not telling the others she was leaving, but at the time, the Way was the only thing on her mind. *I'm sorry, I just had something important to do. I had to follow the Way. I promise not to disappear again.* She sent openly, allowing savith to hear as well. She really didn't want to talk about her trip more than she had to, so letting more elves hear it the first time made sense to her. *I had to say goodbye properly, make sure, so I could follow the Way. Can I eat before I get into it. I'm hungry! Morningtail eats a lot!* She wanted to stay happy, so she quickly changed the subject to food, for her interest and Savith's she thought.
Another glance at him showed him once more looking away. She had done something wrong again and figured it was best to change the subject. But she couldn't help glancing at him. He fascinated her young mind, both because of his ability to fly and his behavior. She didnt know if he was simply the brooding loner or more of the strong father. She liked him and wanted to know more. 'Curiosty' she thought, 'her favorite thing.

**I was looking for something to eat,** Savith replied, including Dancer and Dewpaw in one encompassing send. There was a faint mental poke at Dewpaw, making it clear that she had come upon him while he was trying to hunt, that never the less was somewhat inviting in its manner. **Perhaps a rabbit or quail.**

A quiet laugh came through her send as she rode to meet the young wolf ridder. Her sends were now open knowing Savith was with her as well. *Did Savith tell you how we fell from the sky?* She was getting over the guilt she felt for her two favorite males getting hurt. *It was amazing untill we reached the water.* She giggled a bit and was soon bursting through the shrubs with Fire Bright. Hopping from his back she went over to DewPaw with a smile. *My eyes are happy to see you again. Things have been dull since I broke the bird and fish.* Her eyes moved to Savith and she chuckled more. *But I'm sure he's told you all about that alreaady hasn't he?* Her smile bright. She knew better.

*But you didn't catch anything* Dewpaw retorted as a light joke, sending her own mental poke back at Savith. "I like ravvit!" she said alloud, "Quail tastes funny though."
When Dancer came through the brush and got off Fire Bright, Dewpaw ran at her, hugging her tightly. *You're not a bad sight either* she sent privately, then glanced back at Savith. She laughed again *You fell?* the send was open *Savith only said he got hurt. He didn't say he fell. How'd you fall? And into the fishie? Who's fishie?*
((If I'm correct, Dew hasn't met crosscurrent or heard of him.))

All the excitment and joy made Dancer's face beam. She was in a very good mood knowing Dew Paw was safely back with them. So between grins and giggles she said to Dew, "Oh yes, Savith took me into the sky with him once. I wanted him to let us fall as fast as we could and then stop before we hit. Everything was going well till Crosscurrent thought I was going to get hurt, jumped out of the water and grabbed me. In doing so he hurt himself and Savith couldn't hold everyone so we all fell. They were both hurt but I was safe and sound thanks to my two protectors." Shooting a fond glance at Savith before looking back to Dew. "Oh you don't know about the water elf. He lives in the vast deep. His name is Crosscurrent." Did her face get warm again saying his name? She hated that.

"I knew it! I knew he was hiding something when he siad flying wasn't fun!" she reached back and nudged, or rather pushed, Savith again. "I'm glad you guys are all right though. When i saw Savith's ankle, I thought something had happened that he didn't want to tell me because I was a cub." despite the thoughts of danger, Dew still grinned. "You know you look as if you've eaten too many dreamberries. you're all red."

Dancer blinked a bit then turned away. "W... What? Anyway, did you see anything interesting while you were away? I found a hive of bees and some berries that are so yummy and sweet." She walked along side Fire Bright untill her face felt normal again to her anyways.
