Aphismet grinned, happy to see his brother having such an appetite. The chef turned back to the stove and cranked the heat under the pan, waiting a moment for it to heat back up properly before pouring the egg in. He piled a good portion of vegetables and cheese in there, sliding the omelette into the fruit-lined plate once it was done.
Smiling, Aphi placed the large breakfast near Isi's head, as well as the glass of juice. "There you are, one super-stuffed omelette. Eat up!" Aphi then turned back to make his own, going rather easy on cheese but piling on just as many veggies as Isi. While he cooked his, the chef glanced over his shoulder uneasily.
"Ummm, Eiry just told me something... About when Julian came over. About when Julian, erm..." Aphismet blushed. He couldn't say "kissed". He just couldn't. "Do you feel okay with that? Were you even awake to know what was happening?"

Face brightening at the sight of actual FOOD before him, Isi couldn't help but stare for a moment and salivate over his brother's cooking. He was so thankful that he lived with Aphi for more than just his cooking, but today was one of those days where Aphi's cooking and brotherly smile was all that Isi could ask for. He leaned up from the table, snatched a fork and began to chow down at the stuffed omelette.
Then Aphi began to talk. Usually, they had conversations while they ate breakfast, but it wouldn't be true to say that Isi was ready for that kind of question. Immediately, Isi snapped a glare towards his minty frei who was on the opposite end of the countertop.
Eiry looked up when his name was said and he gave a big toothy grin at his guardian.
Isi gave a heavy sigh. He should've known that Eiry wouldn't be able to keep his mouth shut for long. It wasn't like Isi wasn't planning to tell Aphismet, it was just...Well, Isi, himself, wasn't too sure what he thought of it. Then his face softened. Eiry must've been worried, confused. It was a caring gesture.
Turning to look at Aphismet, Isi furrowed his brows and pushed a hunk of omelette around on his plate, "Uh...I was awake. I could see what was happening...I couldn't do anything else, though...That's why he had to do that. I..." Isi lowered his head a bit, "I was scared. If I had been able to control...Then he wouldn't have had to do that." Isi shifted in his seat, it was plain to see that he was uncomfortable, that the mere thought made him nervous or at least a little disturbed. Raising his head again, Isi concluded softly, "Still, he did save my life."

Aphismet's own omelette was done and on his plate when Isi finally began to speak, so the elder Delaran placed his dish on the counter facing Isi, leaning forward to eat (since there were no stools on this side). Chewing absently on a piece of orange, Aphi watched the poor boy try to make sense of things, only to end up pretty much where he began; ambivalent.
"I can see how you were scared. I'm sure it wasn't pleasant. But I'm sure he had his reasons, and if you were unable to control your body then it kinda makes sense I guess." In all honesty, Aphi was wondering why the suspicious Scientist-wannabe hadn't just injected it into Isi's throat with a syringe, but then again he wasn't a doctor. And just because they did that stuff on TV didn't mean that it worked like that in real life...
"Well, at any rate, it's in the past, and thanks to that (no matter how weird) you're safe now. So, if you ever want to, like, call him or get some kind of questions answered, or call the cops or something, let me know and I'll be behind you 100%." Aphismet felt a little bit guilty at offering to call the cops on the man who'd saved his brother's life, but something still didn't seem quite right with the whole thing anyway. The chef, ruffled at the thought of the hated Mr Sweet doing anything to Isi, took a bit mouthful of omelette, chewing on it huffily.

Isi shifted again uncomfortably in his seat and he pinched his shoulders in, making himself look smaller than he actually was. It was true that Isi felt uncomfortable. What fifteen year old boy wouldn't after they were saved from death by a "kiss"...From an older man. He was extremely thankful though, thankful that he was, at that very moment, sitting at a counter top eating with Aphi. If it wasn't for Julian's deed, then things might be a lot worse. He might not be there...
It was at that moment that Isi gave a sniff and tried again to push around his omelette, "I'd like to say thank you. I like being safe..."

Aphismet smiled and sighed, giving up. "Alright, alright. We can call him sometime and you can say whatever's on your heart. For now, though, let's not think about it anymore. Eat your omelette, don't just stare at it," Aphi finished with a lilt to his voice, trying to lighten the mood, poking at Isi's eggs with his fork.

Isi looked up then and gave a meek smile, his freckled cheeks bunching up underneath his freckled eyes. Hearing Aphismet's words, hearing him back him up, made him feel better. As long as Aphi was around, Isi knew he would be safe in the end. The boy looked down at his plate and when he saw the omelette again, his hunger came back tenfold. Biting into it, the boy quickly inhaled an entire half of the breakfast before he paused to take a drink from the cup nearby and accidentally let loose of a small burp.
Isi looked stunned for a moment, but watching Aphi, his surprise quickly evaporated into a small bout of giggles, the first he had laughed since his poisoning.
"Thanks for the omelette surprise, big brother," Isikoro said warmly.
