Marcus Aurelius wrote his Meditations about 1000 years prior to when Descartes wrote his. It's like a mix of battle tactics (he wrote it while on the battlefield xD) and philosophies of self realisation.

Hey random post here!! You said you like vampire books?? Try the Vampire Hunter Chronicles, by Laurell K. Hamilton. The first book is called Guilty Pleasures.
I've gone through all but one (maybe two) of them. Seriously great books, but if you don't like sex scenes much, avoid anything after Cerulean Sins. It gets a little. . . Intense after that. xd

Especially in DBZ fanfics (the ones pertaining to a certain couple I'm a fan of wink ), I reckon DBZ fanfic authors are the best at concocting graphic sex scenes razz Yeah sorry to be random xD. It's 2am and my sanity is well and truly asleep...

Eklypse_Peregrin *laughs* I know what its like to be awake after your sanity falls asleep, so now problem Ragey! DBZ fans may right some good sex scenes, but my personal favorite is a particular Twilight fanfic author. . . XD As far as I'm concerned, she writes better than Meyer!! ((Though let's face it, that's not hard)) LOL! Really, I know of 3 or so authors who have a grasp on the English language that not even I can comprehend. Not only are the sex scenes well-written and awesome, but the actual body of work (the epics, not the one oneshots) is spectacular! Each adds their own flavour to the characters. They make me ashamed to call myself a writer Dx! And ohmy, I will not go near anything marked Twilight. I destest anything to do with that series. Yes, I am a hater razz .

Sorry about the random post in the in my pants thread. . . It was REALLY late when I posted that. I don't even remember putting it there actually.
Yeah, some of the fan fic authors I've heard of, and stuff I read, is insane. They just. . . Get so INTO it!!!! *ahem* Zee *ahem*
I used to be into Twilight, though. I'll admit this. If its any consolation, though. I was a Twilight fan before the fan girls knew it existed. And then the series hit astronomically phenomenon status, and I went "Really? Guys, its not that great."
I've been boycotting Twilight. And Stephenie Meyer. Since then. That Twilight fic I was talking about earlier really does rock though. For one thing, it doesn't come off like Twilight. ^_^

I agree with the Twilight thing, I really loved it before all these fan girls showed up, I mean, yeah you have a right to love it! Who doesn't? But it's almost like they ruin it for the rest of us who actually love the literature of the book, and not just because they're is some 'Hot Vampire Guy' or 'Hot werewolf Guy' in it. I hate that. And if you like Twilight Fanfictions (And you also like Jacob, like I do)Then read this! It gets Explicit at times but it's really really good! Like I think the author should publish this as an alternate ending to Breaking Dawn. Here is the link ~[Coming Full Circle Twilight Fanfic]~

And hell yes, Dani is one of those fanfic writers that are just simply amazing - they are worthy of the utmost worship! LOL... and yeah I will never be convinced to touch Twilight, that's just me xD

Oh yeah, Twilight is just a book. I'm so jaded with that.
Harry Potter on the other hand. . . xd heart mrgreen xd heart mrgreen rofl I loved that series. Still do. I was so excited for the 6th movie, until I realized when it comes out, I will be staying the night in a hotel, preparing for Hell on Earth: Basic Military Training. *laughs* So I don't get to see it for at least two months. Probably closer to four, since after Basic you get shipped directly to Tech School. Fun fun fun. neutral confused lol
