He put his head and his eyes staring at hers with surprise. Then he looked down at the ground again. "Well, I'm sorry. Didn't want to insult you. It's actually your own business and I shouldn't have asked so soon" the last two words fell out of his mouth without even asking for permission to leave. This usually didn't happen to him quite often. He always thought twice before saying something but this time it was different. This time he just felt like he should relax and let out all that passed his mind. "However it's a pleasure to meet you Jishin." he got his eyes and head up again and smiled at the female. "Has anyonw told you, you have a beautiful name? I haven't heard such a melodious and strong name." He wasn't surprised of hearing she was a hybrid. Of all those years he was going from a place to place and meeting as much creatures as possible he hadn't seen such a feline. Anyways he wasn't disappointed in any way. He found it charming that she didn't exactly "fit" in the stereotype. The lion found himself in a situation in which he didn't know what exactly to say. That was weird. He always had something to say. He had a way with words. He didn't know if it was better to say that her being a hybrid is not a bad thing or just sit there and be quiet. He decided that if he said that being a hybrid is a good thing she would think that there were creatures that thought it wasn't and he didn't want her to think so so he chose the second option.

"So soon?" She asked him with a raise of her brow. Did he plan to run into her again? How interesting. She never thought about meeting another more then once. Or perhaps he wanted her to travel with him? Well she had just left a white and blue lioness that had taken her in, but she was never sure what exactly she was and never really asked.
"Well, no, No one has except my father who gave it to me I suppose." She said casually. Acting as if she didn't care if he complimented her. But it was nice to hear one in a while. "Demani isn't too bad either." She wasn't sure how the compliment things went, and thought she did pretty good. "Nice to meet you too" She added almost forgetting that part.
She stood up the moment silence hit for a bit. "Mind going for a walk. My legs are getting a bit restless." She said with a smile. Trying out this kindess thing wasn't too bad. Especially since he was very nice. She flicked her tail. "Perhaps you can tell me more about yourself." He had her interested, slightly, but interested. Which wasn't really easy to come by.

Demani looked ashamed of these two words. What happened... why did he say them? "Emmm... please excuse me! I didn't know why I said this but I actually like you as company." did he just compliment her again? It happened quite often when he was talking to her. Maybe he really liked her not only as company. He didn't get to have many felines to talk to lately. He felt lonely. He really wanted to have someone listening to what he says or just sit next to him not saying anything. "Thank you very much!" the lion said. Did he just recieve his first compliment? "I...I don't know where my name comes from..." he said. Come to think of it he never even saw his mother or father. Or at least he didn't remember them. He never thought about who gave him his name. Maybe he gave it himself. It struck him like a lightning. He didn't remeber any parential figure in his early years. He didn't even care when he was a cub. He started thinking about this too late. Anyways he had always told himself not to go back to the past. It was too paintfull. "Umm... Yeah! A walk sounds nice." Demani stood up next to the female. Maybe this would take his mind away from all the troubles and problems that passed his head in that moment. It was warm and pleasent. The sun was just about to set down and hide under the big mountains. It was getting more and more orange with every second. Or at least Demani thought so. Suddenly he stopped saying nothing. He turned his head to the sky and looked at it. It was really majectic how some small, white and puffy clowds were infront of the sun and it's light beams pearced their weak spots. "Shall we go?" he said turning his head to Jishin and smiling at her.

" You shouldn't apologize so much." She said as she started to walk past him after he stopped, not really waiting for him to catch up. He was bigger then she, a lot bigger, he could catch up easily. Yet, she still wasn't really walking as fast as normal. She didn't even think about it until she looked down at her feet. "Well, your not so bad of company either." She said with now looking back towards him. Only for a second, but just to make sure he knew she was talking to him still.
She didn't even notice the sun was setting, but she didn't really care. The colors were pretty, but nothing she'd admit to, or at least openly admit to. She flicked her long thick tail. She wasn't sure what to ask him really to get to know him better. Just to say stuff about herself. "Well, I guess I'll say stuff about me then?" She thought about it for a second then decided to start from the first part.
"When I was born my mother decided to take one of my 5 siblings with her and left the rest of us with my father." She didn't expect him to feel sorry for her, in fact she hoped he didn't. "Soon after, I ran away on my own. You see, my family was so busy with themselves and my dad had no time for me so I decided it'd be best to leave." She continued. "I met with this female lion who insisted I come with her. Me being young, I had no clue what to do so she took me in a while, and just recently I went on my own again." She left out the part that she had left without saying anything.
"I don't want you to think this is a pity story. I rather you not feel that way. It's just simply how it happened. Nothing too upsetting, if you ask me. I'm better off without them." She said quickly after. "There are worse stories for others to tell, I'm sure. I'll leave pity to them. " She smiled. "Sometimes it's better to be alone without anyone. Then no one can hurt you." Though, something in her wanted stay with this male. He'd never hurt her. Or if he did, then it'd be the last thing he did do, she thought.

Demani gave the female a smile while she was walking in front of him. He really didn't care that much if she'd see him smiling at her, he just had to allow that warm feeling inside him show somehow and what other way than a big smile? "Thanks!" he said. He hadn't heard a compliment for quite a while now and he wanted to hear more. As a child he seldom had company and when he did the most fun thing to do was make fun of the orphan cub, call it names and never invite it to join the pride, no matter how much he wanted to have a family and a home. In Demani's case he was the orphan cub. But this precisely was the thing that made him strong. Yes, he was strong, he was a fighter but he had almost no confidence in himself, a little scratch on his heart, left from his childhood. Listening to Jishin's story made him fall deeper and deeper in his memories. Trying to understand the story was hard enouh even without thinking of your own problems. When the female turned to him it was like he woke up from a trance that he hadn't been in for a while now, a trance that he PROMISED himself not to fall in again. "I don't feel sorry for you" he said trying to sound as convincing as he could. "I've had a lonely childhood myself. In fact I think this is the thing, the thing that make us stronger, the thing that makes us warriors." he paused and saw that he was right infront of the female, standing still and looking her straight in the eyes. "Anyways I don't think we should get deep in our childhoods though. It's a little painfull bringing back these memories." he said trying to prevent himself from thinking about the past again.

"It'll only be painful if you continue to run from them." She told him. She figured if you could handle your past, you could move on from it and then over come anything that might happen in the future. But everyone looked at things differently. She was just able to pass on her own thought of mind, and let them see a new light rather then force them into doing as she did.

Yes, the female was very right but maybe Demani didn't have enough strenght or courage to face up his fears. Or at least not yet... Well, probably not ever. He was usually brave but the one thing he couldn't do was overcome his childhood memories. They were painful in a way that he couldn't ignore. The pain was a sharp one and he felt it straight into his big heart everytime he thought about his past and about his childhood. But no! He shouldn't think about this. He shouldn't get back to the past. He looked around for something to catch his attention and fortunately found it. The thing was a brave female hybrid which somehow understood him in a way no one else had understood him before. He looked right in her beautiful red eyes and saw a reflection of himself. No, he wasn't that close to the female so why did he see himself in her eyes? He startled and slowly made a few steps away from Jishing trying as hard as he could not to look in her direction. He knew his face would reveal what he was feeling, whatever it was. He didn't know exactly himself, it was pleasant to have such a company once in a while like that female. He had this warm feeling inside his big chest whenever he looked at her and a smile always showed up on his face when he thought that he's actually standing next to her.

"Something wrong?" She asked him as silence had filled the air and she knew to drop that other subject. But for some reason he just looked at her, and then turned away. Was their something wrong with her that he couldn't look at her? But he was smiling. That didn't make any sense. She was confused, yet hoping that he didn't think her repulsive. For the first time ever, she wanted someone's opinion on her. Not just anyones, his.
It was odd. She never cared what anyone thought... Anyone. Why was it different now. She didn't know what to do, except to leave to get her thoughts straight. But she didn't want to make him think she didn't like him. "Oh... Look at the time. Maybe I should get going. I have places to seek." She spoke. She wanted to make sure she could be nice to him in every way. And at the moment, she knew she couldn't do that.
"Until we meet again." She hoped was soon. All she could do was give him a smile. "Which we will." She said. She still had to seek out someone to teach her to be kind. Or at least control her anger that she had gotten so use to controlling her.
(Next Rp should be when she's an adult now. ^^ Sound good?)

When Jishin asked the question Demani didn't know how to respond. Yes, there was something wrong but it was beutifully wrong, something you feel for the first time but know it'll turn out to be good. Anyways he didn't want to confuse her anymore so he didn't say anything. He turned her way again because it was rude not looking someone in the eyes while talking. For Demani this either meant lying or hiding something and in his case it was the second one. He didn't want to hide these feelings but he really didn't know how to show them. This had never happened to him before so he was very curious of what would happen in the future. He heard her say her "Goodbye!" and was a bit taken aback. He thought the conversation was going well. At least til now it seemed. He had nothing else to do but say "It was a pleasure metting you." he gave his most charming smile "and I KNOW we'll meet again someday." and he did. Somehow it was written in both their faiths.
(( That was pretty awesome! I knew they'd turn out to be a great couple... ^^ ))
