He arched his head up just a bit, actually a bit surprised at her forwardness. He paused for a moment, letting a slow grin grow across his face. He sure liked that, didn't he? He knew he had to keep cool, just in case she was trying to test him. Damn females were just so complicated, always making things seem different than they actually were.
"There's a few things that could happen," he said smugly. "Some good, some perhaps bad. In your eyes, anyway." Whenever he had control over a situation, everything was good to the god. Only Sei could ruin things for him, that was certain.

"Well, Dath'charukai, are you going to tell me what they are so that I can decide for myself whether they're good or bad?" Her brow lofted a bit further, tail still swishing slowly back and forth behind her. She was going to have to play this game carefully, yes... But... He hadn't done anything to harm her so far. "As long as it doesn't involve running off to find flowers I think you might be fine."

"Only if you want to hear them." He let his smirk widen a bit before taking a more serious look. Well, this certainly was going somewhere, wasn't it? It just mattered on how far she wanted to take it. He could always continue it on, but that sort of thing was getting a little boring lately. He was impatient, but he'd have to deal with that now, wouldn't he?
He picked up his back legs, letting his wings slouch a little to have the tips brushing against the ground. It made him look a little lazy, and a little relaxed. Illusions that they were.
"We could carry this conversation on, in different ways. Or you could simply walk off, as most usually do." He paused. "No, they usually run, but I don't believe that is in your style of things. Running brings up the urge to chase, and things don't usually end up going well for the one who left my presence."

Again she felt that nervousness tingling in the back of her mind, sending a chill that was a bit harder to ignore running down her spine. This lion standing before her had potential to be dangerous... Very dangerous... And yet here she was, still standing this close to him. Why had Fortune guided her here, of all places?
"No, I do not run." It had taken much prodding and a strict command from her king to get her out of the pride's lands when things had started to fall apart around her. She had been hot-headed and determined to stand her ground and fight for her home. Now?
She steeled her resolve once more, lifting her gaze to meet that of the lion... No, the God. This being that stood before her was more than just flesh and bone and yet she found herself wondering just how alike they were when it was all boiled down. "We could carry this conversation on in different ways..."

Dath grinned, enjoying this girl. It seemed that there were a few good ones, mixed in within the hoards that really were horrible. He obviously needed to open his eyes more to the world around him. Everything could be a little more enjoyable if he did so.
"I'm pleased with your choice," he said with a grin. "Lead on, mistress, and I will certainly follow you." He let a soft rumble escape his throat. None of the lionesses needed to worry about any of the others. If he liekd them, he would treat them as kindly as he would allow. That's all that really mattered, right?
