The white ghostling grinned widely as he followed her towards the treasure's location. "We have to be small while we can, after all..." Halting and remainning a bit away while Kelasia unearthed the stones, Requiem's eyes widened when she finished digging them up, catching the glint of the cleaned surface. It was a trully amazing ability, to reveal such wonders. "Wow, so pretty!"

"Its better to be young..." She giggled, pawing more stones free and pushing them toward him. She enjoyed her powers -and those of her family- it was nice to be good at something.. Even when you were small.. It's hard to be a grand hunter as a kit... Or a fierce warrior...
"Have them..." She urged. "Pick one or two to take home... I collect things now and again..."

He had seen the dwellings of the grown ups from close, and feelings of jealosy, rage and fear had sprung up daily in his family's pride. He had no will to grow up quickly, that was for sure. All that tension... Requiem'd rather not be in the way. "Oooh, can I? Mmmh, momma will surely like this red one, would you mind if I showed it to her?" he asked, fascinated by the light reflected on the stones. There sure were wondrous things buried in the earth...

Kelasia considered her family with a faint smile. She didn't mind the idea of being an adult one day... But for now she'd rather the freedom of youth, and the joy of playing with new friends.
She grinned, separating a pale yellow stone that matched the color of his glow from the rest of its fellows. She would keep that one. "I don't mind at all.. Take it if you like it..."
It was nice to share her ability with a new friend... And her findings.

"Thank you, I'll give it back after I show it to her. Dabih'd try to steal it, so I'll return it as soon as I can. He's a little too devious for his own good sometimes..." Requiem giggled, ever forgiving of his brother's pranks and bad mouth. "Do you have siblings, Kelasia?"

"Surely you could hide it somewhere?" She asked. "I'd like for you to keep it if you could..."
She grinned at him. "Yes.. I have a sister and a brother... Just the one brother for you, Requiem?"
The way he talked of his brother made her laugh. She was the explorer of the siblings... None of them were really pranksters, but Requiem's brother sounded like he was fun to be around, if you didn't mind a joke or two. She had a sense of humor, maybe she'd meet him one day.

"Well, I'll try then." Requiem nodded, giggling again. It was going to be a challenge, really, but it'd be fun then, right? Not everything is easy, really. "No, I have another, Alegritude. He keeps to himself mostly. My family's really big though, and I was born around the same time my cousins were, so it's kinda as if they're my brothers too. I still want to meet more lions though, make lots of friends!"

"Oh.. That sounds like its fun." She murmured, a little wistfully. "I just have the two siblings, and my sister isn't around much... Its mostly me and Deimos... Since we're the only grandcubs at the time, I get to spend a lot of time with my grandparents and all my aunts and uncles... That's a lot of fun..."

"They must tell you lots of stories! I love stories, especially those about the strange and mystical things of the world. About spirits, and magic, and all of those things that, who knows, maybe they exist, maybe they don't." He said, with a twinkle of happiness in his eye. "I also like spooky stories. Sometimes my ghost friends tell me some. It's mostly of them giving a scare to someone, but it's really funny, still."

Kelasia grinned. "Grandma Whistle tells the best stories.. Stories about just being a dream.. And then wandering the land of Spira... And meeting its Guardians.. And falling in love with grandfather, and fighting fiends, and all sorts of grand adventures..."
She bounced around a bit. "You have a friend that is a ghost? That is so cool! I have one who's a spirit.. But she's a grown up..."
She tilted her head. "Maybe one day we can all play? That would be a lot of fun..."
She glanced at the sky, hearing the ominous rumble of thunder. "Ooh.. Looks like my Uncle is headed this way... I think I had better go."

Requiem tilted his head thoughtfully, wondering about it. Would his otherwordly friends really be able to play with them? Would she see them even? they were completely dead, unlike him... He'd have to ask them some day! "Yes it would!" he said eventually, grinning widely. "I'm sure they'll like to meet you!" A louder thunder rolled by, this one grabbing Requiem's attention. A storm... her parent's would probably worry if she remained out... and his mother'd prolly be getting impatient by this time also... For how long had he been away now, one, two days? Yeah, it was probably a good time to return home too... Heck, he'd made a new friend! If his trip had been worth it till now, with this meeting it'd become even better! Pity it had to end though... A bit sad, the white kit nodded, but a smile still graced his face. "We'll play and find treasure again some day!" Yes, he was sure they'd meet again. Very sure.

"That's a promise!" Kelasia grinned, darting forward to nuzzle his cheek, a brief kiss. She grinned and leapt away, bounding into the grass as another peal of thunder rumbled overhead. "BYYYYYYYYEEEEEEE REQUIEEEEEEEEEEEEM!"
She called cheerfully over her shoulder.
