She smiled again, pleased by the slight change he had shown by looking up from the ground.
"The pleasure is all mine, Kiyoshi." She bowed her head a little, and looked back at him, listening as he answered her question. She had been right about him being shy.
"I'm sorry..." she said sympathetically. "Well, I suppose you can add another acquaintance to you list. Or if you'd like, " she continued, grinning, "we can skip over that and be friends. I don't have any friends either..."

Kiyoshi looked up with a bit of shock. "You..want to be my friend? But, you don't even know me that well, and I'm so shy, I really think I wouldn't be much of a good friend. There are better Namra out there..."

"I'm sure there are much better namrah than I as well, but that doesn't matter. I'm sure you would make a great friend, Kiyoshi. You have already offered me a shelter from the rain, when you could have taken it yourself. That was very nice of you. I'm quite sure that I would like to be your friend, if you would like to be mine," she answered him, still smiling kindly.
She really did want to be his friend. She didn't have many, and he did seem like a nice guy.

"Well," Kiyoshi fidgeted in his place. "If you really want me as a friend, then I guess I could give it a try. I'm sure it wouldn't be a bad thing to have a friend, especially one as nice as you are." Kiyoshi looked up and gave a faint smile as he look over at Noami. The rain had turned in to lik sprinkling by this moment and Kiyoshi sat in his spot, drenched.

"Thank you," she said. "It's a very good thing to have friends." She smiled at him in return. She looked up at the sky as it sprinkled lightly.
"Well, it seems to be about over..." She looked from herself to Kiyoshi and chuckled. "I guess we are a little worse for ware..."

"Hm?" Kiyoshi looked himself over and then turned to Naomi. "Oh, well you are worse off than me. I had a caught to cover myself up and you are bare. Plus, I have something to dry myself off easily. Sort of like cheating with advantages I guess..."

"Hmm...I suppose," she replied. "I don't mind though. If the sun comes out, I shall dry quickly." She tilted her head and smiled, almost absent mindedly.

"Oh, alright then. Won't that take some time though, drying by sun? What if you caught a cold or something cause it took so long? That would be a problem there." Kiyoshi looked over with a bit of curiosity and confusion.

"Well, I suppose if you have done this before and never caught a cold then you have nothing to worry about this time around then." He still looked over at her with a bit of worry. "Still, always better safe than sorry, right?"

"Yes, I'm sure I'll be just fine. Besides..." She tilted her head to the side thoughtfully. "There isn't much that I can do about it, so there's really no point in worrying, right?"
In fact, the sun was now beginning to come out and it shone brightly on the two, instantly warming Naomi. She smiled and basked happily in the sunshine.
