Vicente shook his head and looked down at the floor before sighing and returning his gaze to Edward."Edward, there is no other way that I know of and even if I could I doubt it would help. Think logically Edward, if there was another way other then the construction site to enter don't you think the Doctor would know about it and would have already set a trap for you. I may want Sergei dead but foolishly running into danger and never coming back is not on my list of things I want for you to do. Beyond that think of your son, the doctor would rather kill it then give it back to you and Sergei would do the honor gladly. I think it would be much smarter to wait for them to return. You can't believe that the doctor has just been sitting on his thumbs the entire time he's had his prize, if you get your son now he will be no better off then if you take him a week from now. I am very sorry for your loss but I can not, I will not let you kill yourself and destroying our chances of ever killing those bastards."Vicente didn't think that would go over well but it was the truth, he was not pretending to care on any level.

Vicente spoke in Edwards mind and instead of just telling him, he engraved the words into his mind to pop up at the opportune time."It is not cowardice to retreat when all hope seems lost, it is wisdom. Good luck Edward, may you live to fight another day."Vicente shook his head and poured himself a glass of scotch and sipped it while reading a book.

Banshee watched him walk away. "Sooo.... you know Sergei, most certainly are not involved in the Black Cross... and he is the reason you have formed an alliance, right?" She looked over at Vicente.

she fiddled with her sword hilts and stared at the building. she took a breath and steped closer, just to back up again. she had never asked for help from another Vampire before... as far as she rememberd anyway..
she didnt need to look down to know Asmadis was with her, he was a loyal friend. even if he was a freakishly large snake. she felt him wrap his tail around her ankle and she sighed. "Madi.. what am i doing. im just going to ask for a book and i cant even get my knee's to carry me to the door..." she shook her head and tried to back up. she got no where, Asmadis had kept her foot in place with his tail. she glared at him, he glared back. finaly she growled and crossed her arms. " i should have let that hunter make a meal of you. i would have if i knew you would treat me like a dumb child."
the snake only grined and tugged at her leg. "Fine.. damn snake from hell..." she walked carfuly up to the door and knocked once, almost quietly, then cast a glace at Asmadis. what are the chance's i could out run that snake before this door opened... she knocked again, louder this time, as Madi tightend his hold on her ankle. muttering under her breath. " damn over sized worm..."

she jerked back a bit, but carfuly kept her eyes on the ground as she answerd. " my friend Bain would be the wolf demon. i am Lilthire." she had told Asmadis, her snake, to stay outside while she did this.. but now she was missing his company. she was asking a powerful vampire for a book on a dead family she couldnt realy remember, and she didnt have a good reason for it. ya, that sounded like a good plan. mabye she should hand him a sword, point out a nice place on the wall, and ask if he would put her up for the night while she was at it. she shook her head to clear her thoughts, now was so not the time to be a smart a**. she kept her voice passive as she asked him. " i need a book on the history of the Celivan Family. they were lower royals, located in the northern lands about 523 years ago. this is the only place i could think of that would have it."

Song waited until the butler opened the door, then shuved the belt at him. she didnt see his face, though she didnt see anything so that was expected.
she winked and smiled sweetly, happy to be rid of the belt. this belt creeped her out. it had a small energy of its own, and seemed to catch ahold of her for a moment back there. "Sidius Leoha asks that the lord here protects this belt. he said it belonged to some psyco in the past and needed to be put some where safe, with some one strong enough to control it." she never knew what the belt looked like, but her brother discribed it to her. it was black leather with silver threaded threw it, small vampiric letters were on the belt as well. they formed some sort of protection or something, Song didnt know. the way her brother discribed it.. he seemed almost lost. so Song took the belt before he could change his mind. she didnt like it, this Belt and that weird Dager messed with his mind. he didnt let her take the Dager from him... but the Belt was safely away from him. it would do for now.

she had wraped the belt in a cloth. " you take care now" she said happily before takeing off.

Vicente nodded to the Lilthire and pulled open a file cabinet in his desk and took out a file reading it over."Yes I remember that family, row five section three, stand by for a moment"Vicente pressed a button and in a few seconds an old book came out from a tube he put it on the desk and spoke very calm and collected."Do you need anything else madam?"
