Noticing Safiya's look towards her, Aki looked back and gave a slight nod. So she had smelled it too. She had the same motherly reaction. Interesting. But the scent wasn't too close. It could very be someone just passing through. Hmm. Smiling, Aki rolled over on her back and looked at Ratri upside down. "Well, since it's your first time out here at night and there are two responsible adults with you who aren't your parents, I think we should do something fun, like a game or something. What'd ya say?"

Enzo neared the group cautiously. He didn't know if the foxes were protective of the kit, let alone his parents. After knowing his parents, Enzo knew well that a mother can get extremely fierce to protect her young. He certainly didn't want to come across anyone like that, but he was still a little curious, so he pressed on and settled with just hoping for the best.

Still keeping an eye in the direction of the other scent, he tried not to chuckle as Aki rolled over on to her back. "Sure, it sounds good to me" he said. "What kind of game do you have in mind?"

The other modi was coming closer but Aki couldn't sense any danger for this strangers was approaching rather casually. Still, its always better to be safe than sorry. "I donno." Aki said still looking at Ratri upside down. She then rolled over and sat up. "What do you think Safiya?"
((And ddw, Aki rolled over, not Safiya xd ))

Safiya was glad Aki senced him too, as she could tell the new modi was coming nearer. Still, she was unwilling to competely assume that they was a threat just yet, considering the modi wasn't acting agressive. At the same time, she didn't want to assume the stranger safe either....Hearing the question from her rainbow-kissed friend, Safiya turned her attention back to the conversation.
"Hmmm, I'd suggest hide and seek, but I wouldn't want you to get lost in the dark, Ratri. How about a little game of tag?" She asked.

Enzo had finally neared enough that he could make out their silhouettes in the dark. He could finally hear them as well. One of the vixens were suggesting a game of tag. "Hello," he said as he entered the dimly lit clearing the three were standing in. "I didn't come to hurt anyone," he said quickley. "I just wanted to see who was here."

Ah. A curious stranger. Aki couldn't see the male extremely well but from what she could see he didn't seem to belong to any bribe. So he was indeed just a wondering curious fox. "Well hello." Aki said with a smile and a light nod to the newcomer. "I'm Aki. Me and my friend here..." She nodded towards Safiya "...are going to sacrifice this kit we found to the waxing moon. Would you like to join us?" She looked to Safiya and Ratri to try and catch their expressions.

Ratri was about to suggest a good clearing to play tag in when the modi who had been approaching spoke. He jumped a bit and peeked out from behind Aki, figuring he would be safe. When he heard her talking about sacrificing him though, he gave a quiet, nervous laugh. He figured she was joking, but he inched towards Safiya just in case.

The modi Safiya had senced arived in the clearing, and seemed friendly, allying her fears. "Hello, I'm Safiya. It's nice to meet you." she said, bowing slightly. When she heard Aki mention that they were going to sacrifice the kit, she turned with a slightly startled expression towards Aki, then giggled. Safiya felt Ratri hide behind her and wrapped her tail around him. "Don't worry, little one. It wont hurt a bit." she teased, still laughing softly.

Enzo laughed, they were friendly after all. "It's nice to meet you Safiya, Aki. I'm Enzo." He tilted his head slightly to see the kit hiding behind the adults and chuckled a bit. "Do I get know the name of the kit I will help sacrificing?"

Ratri had stopped laughing by now, and was getting a bit more worried after Safiya's comment. "Ummm...okay?" he said, trying hard not to sound worried. He peeked out from behind Safiya this time, trying to get a better look at Enzo, but also trying to discreetly look for a spot to hide or run away.

By this time Aki couldn't help but laugh. "Well Enzo, this here is Ratri." Aki nudged Ratri from behind herself and Safiya. Seeing the worried look on Ratri's face she laughed again. "Calm down child. In all my years of wondering, I've seen many a cold hearted modi but never one who would sacrifice a young one. We're just playing with ya." She glaced around to the two other adults and smiled, an almost evil smile. "Or are we?"

Safiya continued to chuckle at the small kit's expense, his huge worried eyes were just so comical. "Now, now Aki, Enzo, let's stop teasing him. We're scaring him half to death." Then Safiya tilted her head to the side. "Of course, that may help with the whole sacrificing plan." she pointed out, hiding her grin behind a paw.

Ratri was still trying not to look too worried, but was also trying to figure out if they were serious. He sat down near an escape point he spotted and just looked at them. "Uhmm....am I allowed to know what kind of thing I'm being sacrificed for?" looking suspiciously at Safiya.
