Sofiel smiled, "I bet this is going to be a nice spot." Sofiel giggled as Felix ran off and then she took off after him. She was running to catch up, but not to pass. If she wanted to beat him all she had to do was fly, but she liked running with him better than winning a race.

Felix stopped when he arrived at the spot. "Sofiel, what do you think?" he asked as they arrived. Her elegant wings were folded, but Felix saw their beauty anyways.

Sofeil looked around her eyes widening at the beauty surrounding them. "Wow, Felix, this is a beautiful spot!" She smiled at him and then looked around more. The green of the clearing was so peaceful. "You found this from smell? Wow." She hadn't tried doing that only flying to find pretty places.

"Y-You like it?" Felix asked softly. "Yes, I found this from smell. I think you would've, too, if you flew and used your eyes, Sofiel." Her name was like cotton candy to him, sweet and perfect.

Sofiel nodded, "Yes, it's perfect! I guess that's true, but then I might have flown by. I'm so glad you found it." She smiled and looked around. Felix had found a great spot and she was glad she was here to enjoy it with him.

"I'm glad you're here to share it with me," Felix replied. Suddenly, a piercing wail came from the other side of the river, and Felix turned around in time to see a small kit fall into the fast-flowing water from a tree branch. The kit's mother was anxiously dabbing at the water, afraid to go in and rescue the kit while also wanting to just go.
Thinking quickly, Felix ran over to a rock jutting out and tried to grab the kit, but the kit's fur slipped through his paws. "Sofiel, help!" he cried out.

Sofiel, "I'm glad too." She was pulled to the scream with a frown on er face. What could that be? She saw the kit and Felix go running. THe only thing she could think to do was fly. She took off into the air and then dived inot the water, like a bird after a fish. After grabbing the kit she came back out of the water and landed with the kit next to Felix.

Felix stared in astonishment as Sofiel spread her wings open and rescued the drowning kit. He had never seen any namir fly before, and he was surprised at the grace of flight. Recovering, he congratulated Sofiel. "That was a great dive, Sofiel!" He then started licking the whimpering kit dry, glancing at it's mother who looked helplessly and relieved from the other side.

Sofiel breathed heavily from the short burst of adreniline. "Thanks, I'm glad he's ok." She said of the kit, that was all that mattered in the long run. She then looked at the worried mother, "Should we take him back to his Mom?"

Felix nodded. "It would be the best thing to do, I think." He then motioned at the anxious mother before carefully picking up the kit and handing him over to Sofiel. "I know that he'll come to no harm with you, Sofiel."

Sofiel took the kit and blushed at his comment. She slowly walked to the mother and laid the kit next to her, "Here you go." She the went back to Felix. "I'm so glad we came here and could help them."

"I'm glad, too," Felix replied, nodding. "That's a good deed we've done today," he continued, looking into Sofiel's beautiful eyes. "You know, this morning, I was thinking that life couldn't get any better, but then I met you, and life did get better," he added shyly.

Sofiel blushed, "I feel the same way, Felix." She liked him very much. Sofiel hadn't felt this happy around another namir before. She was always happy, but he made her feel happier, if that was possible.

Felix's heart was beating faster with every second. He had fallen in love with a namir that he had just met, and he was overjoyed that she thought of him in the same way. "Will you stay with me forever, Sofiel?"

"Forever?" That seemed like such a long time, but with any other namir it would be out of the question. Felix was sweet and kind, someone she loved. "Yes, I can do that." She blushed and put a paw ontop of his.
