i figured it was standalone. mentioning a story mode kinda waved that flag to me.
i hope so too! xD (my face also hopes so) my download is only at edit: 12% so it'll be a while before i can play.

But does your Mom's face hope so? *eyes you suspiciously* Well? DOES IT? ...LOL Seriously though I love Sims. With ALL the expansions it gets kind of intensive, which I think is why I really like Castaway Stories, as it's simpler. I love all the stuff that the expansions include, but they really make it a very very complicated game, very hard for NEW users to enjoy. Allister/Osaka/Christy likes Sims, but it took her awhile to get comfortable playing it, because of how non-newbie friendly it is.

i mostly just make sims and build houses and cheat. actually playing gets too stressful for me. xD i'm kinda looking forward to killing some sims as a way to vent my frustration though. i think i'm gonna kill one of the pre-made families off through abuse and neglect. remove the fridge, toilets, showers and exits and watch everything blow up.. it'll be great!
..then i'll play for real.

I always feel guilty and/or sadistic when I kill off Sims. XD;; I'm weird I know. I did kill off most of the Sims that Brittany made though. Oddly I don't feel so guilty about them.
Playing for real can get really frustrating sometimes. I tend to go in, make a family, build them a house, save, and quit. Rinse and repeat. Eventually I get around to playing some of the actual game. XD;;

yeah, i'm looking forward to trying my hand at customizing clothes and skins more than anything else. xD

I haven't done much in the way of customizing clothes or skins YET. I've done some Cupcake Club stuff and did some custom hair colors but that's it. You should send me the stuff you make. <3
