Herei watched the young student silently, not willing to offer up anymore help unless Sasha specifically asked for it. After that last incident, the Adviser was pretty sure any advice he had on the matter of building things was better left unsaid. As it were, it looked like the Russian student was getting the hand of it. Sure, there was some trial and error involved, but it wasn't like the Adviser had any shortage of materials. He could actually go get more, if Alexander really needed it.
"...that looks good," he said, hiding his smile behind his robed arm.

"Uhh..." Holding a board in place, he gave his construction an objective look. It looked pretty uhh what was the word? Ghetto? Yeah. "Thanks..." He said feebly. He had two sides nailed and standing on there own (for now). Crab-walking over to the other side, he grabbed a third board and screwed and nailed with with experienced ease. Repeating the motions with the third. Sasha then went through and nailed the sides together so it didn't wobble.
"H'oookay..." Now the top. "Uhmmmm..." He pilfered through the chaotic mess on the floor, looking for little bendy hinge thingies every door had. Alexander grabbed a handful and started screwing one side to the boar and the other to the back trunk wall. Gosh, he hoped he did this right. Mumbling a silent, prayer, he lifted the trunk and closed it then gave it a tender kick to make sur eit didn't just all fall apart.

Even Herei couldn't help but cringe a little as Sasha gave the box a kick. Wait a minute. It stayed up? It stayed up! The Adviser beamed and walked over, patting Alexander on the shoulder. "Well done, Mr. Ivanova. Well done!" He just admired the box for a few moments, that was much better than he could ever do.
"Thank you very much. You're free to go, if you like." He'd tortured the youth enough for one day, that was for sure.

Sasha couldn't help but smile at the praise. He was proud of himself, working something out with no need for his brother. Though that darn stain!
"Y-Yeah I think... I think I should go..." He still felt a bit queasy from the accident, and just thinking about rolled his stomach. He didn't need to throw up in the Adviser's office on top of everything else. He turned to look up at Fang and his smile grew crooked. "W-Well uhmm if you... ever need to paint it or something, I guess, you know, I wouldn't mind.... or... I dunno something..." And then an awkward silence.
"Ah, well... Uhmm it was nice to meet you, uhh sir..." He finished with a stuttering good-bye and made it to the door without tripping over anything.
What an odd day. But rewarding.
