"Oh, you are too kind, dear Juillet. Giving a plain creature such as I nice compliments..you must be some sort of divine being," he told her, being playfully dramatic. But he really didn't see himself as anything special so he took her compliments to heart.
"As for how we've been.. Well, Shade has missed the warmth of your fair mane. And Elros has gotten too used to my death threats and no longer takes them very seriously. I may have to attack her just to keep her on her toes.." There Spectre paused for a moment since that was when she batted his paw. With a grin, he lightly tweaked one of the flowers in her hair and poked his tongue out.
He noticed her end of the conversation beginning to lag but he didn't mind. However he was quite surprised when she suddenly blurted that she'd missed him. In fact, that simple statement brought a heavy blush to his cheeks which he silently and most desperately willed away.
"You did? I..Well I've missed you too," he finally managed to say, shuffling his paws. You know, he'd never had occasion to feel shy before. Damn her for being so pretty...

"I'm not being kind. I'm telling the truth. You were the first I'd met. My first friend." She giggled at his almost theatrical tone. "You should do acting. You're good at it. Spectre! You'd have it made with your talent and good looks." Maybe that was a little over the top, but Juillet thought it was true.
She lifted her eyes up to try and see the kitty sleeping in her mane, but it did no good. "It's nice to know I was missed." She chuckled. "Because Lilly doesn't sleep in my mane. She likes to be between my shoulders, the silly thing. Spectre, have you thought about being totally different? If your human isn't listening to death threats, offer to help." She had a grin form on her lips. "Say your human is busy doing something like... cooking. And you threaten her. She's not going to care because you do it all the time. But! Tell her you'll help, and throw in a devious laugh. It works well, at least for me. My house mate Jun prefers the more.... physical approach. But that's too messy sometimes. Besides, I have my human wrapped so tightly around my little claw she doesn't even know it."

Spectre gathered his wits enough to wave her off, amused by the prospect of him being an actor. Honestly, if he couldn't convince Elros he was going to maim and/or kill her one day, how could he convince an audience willing to believe of anything?
But Juillet's idea of switching things up was intriguing..
"You know, that had never occurred to me before. It might be fun just to see her reaction.. Too bad she's not quite so wrapped around my little claw," he mused.
Almost like he could tell Juillet was trying to see him perched in her mane, Shade mewed and leaned over to peer into her eyes.

Juillet giggled at Shade as he looked down at her. "It's good to see you. Are you going to take a nap in my mane?" Juillet wouldn't mind if he did. She then returned her eyes to Spectre. "I'm sure you would take her by surprise. I can just see it now! Well, sort of. I don't know what your human looks like, but all humans look kind of the same to me. So I imagine she looks like my human. But I can still picture it. The surprise, the worry!" she tittered as she spoke. "You simply must torment her in such a way. The threats are no longer good, because you never make good on them. So play the nice card, and after a few days, you can reclaim your spot. Threaten to bite, and do it." She thought a moment. "I've heard, and seen my elder bondmate do it to our human." She referenced Jun, who was older then she.
