Dichali nodded when she asked to go for a walk. "Of course," he seemingly chirped, and quickly followed the mare.
The stallion listened, his gaze fixed on the mare as she explained. Odd as it sounded, having seen the petals glow before she began speaking, he easily believed the mare. Surely glowing petals that talk to you wasn't the weirdest thing in the Soquili Land. After all, he, being a flutter, could do a bunch of nifty stuff. Weird, perhaps, but still nifty. "I suppose nothing comes without a bad side, right?" He smiled encouragingly.
"You know, if you think petals that follow you everywhere is silly, flutters can shrink in size." Nodding, he added, "It gives you a really squeaky voice to those larger than you. Though it is good for entertaining foals." The thought of foals brought him back to thinking of his family, which wasn't very far. He shook his head, trying to free it from the burden. This encounter wouldn't be spoiled by guilty thoughts.

Faer nodded slowly, " Ya, I guess that's right. Got to take the bad with the good."
She turned to face him, an eyebrow quirked. Her smile returned as she laughed. The image of Dichali in small form, with a squeaky voice seemed funny. But odd as well, but then again she had never met a flutter before. " You can really shrink? That is alittle odd but sounds neat at the same time. I bet it is really entertaining...I'd like to see it myself." She smiled and continued down the path.
As they walked, Faer thought of foals. She hadn't encountered many in her life, but she had flown over meadows filled with foals. Faer wanted to be a mother, but it was something that would come in due time. " Do you have any foals?" Faer knew Dichali was adopted, but seeing him talk about foals made her smile. Perhaps he already had some?

Dichali grinned when she said that she'd like to see him shrink. "Well sometimes," he began, pausing while his body changed to a third of its size, "I like to play with the foals without them knowing they're playing with an adult." Chuckling, he continued. "And other times," He paused again, his body shrinking to the size of one of the mare's petals. "I like to talk to the lady bugs!" With this, he took flight, landing on Faer's nose. The now tiny stallion didn't really want to think of how silly his voice sounded. To him, it was the same as it always had been.
He remained on the mare's nose, and chuckled when she asked if he had foals. "Not that I know of. I suppose it is possible, but I don't see myself as the knock up and run type of stallion. I just know a lot of foals."

Gold earrings glinted in the sunlight as Faer's ears went up in curiousity and blue eyes went wide as the stallion began to shrink. She took a few hesitant steps backwards as he flew amidst her petals and settled on her nose. For a moment, Faer looked alarmed at his small stature and for a moment, all the petals froze in mid-air. But soon her body began to relax and she continued down the path listening to him, with the petals beginning their normal rotation. " You talk to bugs? That's amazing! Tell the spiders to stay away, please...I don't like them." The mare both shuddered and laughed at the same time. She spoke quietly, as not to hurt his now tiny ears or blow him away. He did have a squeaky voice now, and she couldn't help but be entertained by this. " I bet foals just love this! I'm an adult, and I find it amusing."
Faer rounded a bend in the trail and stopped dead. The sight in front of her seemed almost magical. A large waterfall poured glistening water into a stream below, the grass around glistened with tiny droplets of water. At the base of the waterfall was a tall, willow tree that would offer comfort and shade from the heat of the day. Beautiful flowers sprouted everywhere and Faer tilted her head carefully toward the sky to watch birds fly over head. A bee flew a few times around her head before zooming off to make honey. It was a beautiful scenery and Faer's heart gave a tiny flutter.

Dichali chuckled, and nodded. "That I do, when there isn't anybody else around. And I'll be sure to tell them that. They're actually quite nice, until they try to eat you." Laughing, the stallion nodded again. "Phae and Amitola find it hilarious. Amitola wants me to teach him how, but he's more Unicorn than Flutter."
"Why are we stopping?" He turned around on her nose, and couldn't help but roll his eyes at the sight. Sure, it was pretty, but also seemed awfully romantic, which reminded him that he was still alone, and though he had a bunch of female friends, he hadn't a 'lady friend,' as his mother would call them. When the mare looked up, Dichali immediately slid back and bumped into her forehead. "Ooops! I'm awfully sorry." He fluttered back to the ground and grew to his normal size.

Faer looked slightly hurt at the rolling eyes of Dichali, but when the tiny-formed flutter slid back to her head she let out a soft 'umph'. The pink mare took a few steady steps forward into the field, tall grass brushing her stomach. She turned around to face Dichali, smiling softly. The romantic scenery had done the same for her as it seemed to do for him: causing a cord deep in her heart to sing out its song of loneliness.
Faer couldn't help but stare momentarily at the light blue flutter, now in full form. Orange braided mane, green eyes capturing her mind. He was sweet, made her laugh, good with kids and well, looked handsome. The mare wondered, before abruptly making up her mind. " Aw, what the hell. Ya only live once..." Faer thought to herself before returning back to Dichali's side from the field. She stared into his eyes for a moment, before softly nuzzling her head under neath his. Her face was burning hot, blushing from her action and almost frozen under his neck.

Dichali wasn't quite sure what to think about the mare's actions. The feeling he'd gotten was just so... New. Surely not unwelcome, but new none the less. Was she really making a move on him? Out of all of the mares the stallion had met, she was the only one to make the first move.
He stood for a moment, weighing the pros and cons of his possible actions, but finally gave in and nuzzled Faer softly. His green eyes scanned the area before he spoke. "Uhm... Would you like to go some place less... Open to the public? There's a nice little cave over there." Dichali nodded toward the cave by the waterfall, waiting for her approval.

Faer remained frozen on the spot, not daring to speak a word. But she let out a large sigh of relief his soft head returned the nuzzle. Without speaking a word she took his offer with a nod and stepped slowly toward the cave, mind racing and face flushed with heat. Faer let Dichali take the lead toward the cave, petals rotating about both of them in a slow enchanting manner. Her heart no longer sung about the lonely times, but now fluttered with the joys of new things, and of new love. In the darkness of the cave, a single petal began to glow softly.
*coughs and sneaks out so the two can be alone XD*
