Luther Olathes Fire Warrior50- Yeah I wonder if i'll get to be a water gym leader Here is my Pokemon Empoleon LVL45 Gyrados LVL40 Floatzel LVL40 Golduck LVL40 Quagsire LVL40 You need to do a little better than that to apply. A list of pokemon doesn't really qalify as an application. But, I guess that's for koishii to decide.

Just to make things a little different than most guilds, I am adding an addition to the Gym Leader aspect. Note how Volkner (the last Gym Leader) carried some non Electric types? Well I am now letting you up to two Pokemon that aren't of the element you've desired to lead. 1 preferably, but 2 is maximum. That way, the matches should be more interesting and harder to beat. That way people can't just hammer at you with the type you are weak to. Sounds fair?

Gallade-475 Name: Gallade-475 Applying for: Fighting Gym Leader Skill level: Moderate (I saw everyone was posting Good, or Great, so i decided i'll keep my pokemon around level 50-60, so its more of a modest gym that some average players will be able to tackle) Knowledge of IV's and EV's: People have already sumerized it, and the only thing that I can post, is another supporting fact of the Rare Candy theory. They do not influence IVs or EVs. It only raises your level by 1. Just don't go all the way to 100 until you are finished with the IV and EV trainings! Why would you like to be a gym leader: I just felt that it would be good to have a medium ranked Gym leader for some people, and possibly, if they win, I will give them a prize, (Via trade) That's awfully nice of you, but please don't break your back just for the guild members razz Rewards aren't necessary.

Well, thanks for the heads up, but it depends how they tackle my team. If they have a good lineup, and can even counter the odd moves my pokemon would have, I MAY POSSIBLY give them a prize. But still, I'm glad you thought my application was fine. If I am a gym leader, i'll do my best.

Here's something else I think is fair for gyms is for anybody who challenges the gyms....the must use the same pokemon for each gym.

That way people can't just build a team to beat out the Gym Leader. How would we know what they've used though? :/

Once they've used a team againest one gym leader, that gym leader would tell the others. That way, if they use a different team, we will know. We can also have the register a team before starting the league.

Similar to what Luther said, the way I was going to run it for the D/P Gaming Guild, I would have challengers register about 8-10 Pokemon they wish to use in the Gym challenge (6 base team + 2 or 4 bench) and that using any other pokes after they're registered would equal an automatic forfeit of the match. At least that way, the challengers have some flexiblity to their teams, and the gym leaders get a sporting chance without having to worry about people bringing teams build specifically to fight them. Of course, that's just my personal view.

If we are going to give a limit to the challengers bench, are the Gym leaders themselves going to have a limited side board as well or are the gym leaders going to have free access to any pokemon within thier catagory type?

I think Gym Leaders should bench a few too. Though I would say perhaps two benched. Or do you think they should be able to bench the same amount as the challengers?
