Eidel couldn't help but smile at his gentleman-like behavior as he bowed. "You may, sir," she replied. She took a small step forward and let him lead.

Tal walked foreword a few steps as he freaked inside his mind. He had no prior experience to dancing of any sorts before, and he didn't even know what the basic movements were. He was useless in this subject, yet the male was supposed to lead the female in dance. 'Well, what would happen if I took a step forward with her?' he thought, before actually doing it.

Eidel couldn't help but take in his scent as they stood close to one another. She didn't notice his hesitation as she was distracted, slightly mesmerized, by the aroma. She tried to determine what exactly it smelled of, but she couldn't quite pinpoint it.

Tal paused for a moment, unsure what to do now. It killed him and his pride to admit it, but he needed Eidel to shw him how to dance before he could lead. "Ok... How do you dance..." He asked as he glanced downwards, pouting.

Eidel grinned as she pressed her cheek to his. "Follow my steps," she said softly. She took a step forward and began into a slow waltz. She wasn't sure what kind of dancing he'd prefer, but decided it would be safer to start with something slow.

Tal blushed lightly as their cheeks touched, but tried not to let Eidel notice. "Ok," he muttered, pouting that he was being led by a female. He follwed her steps, copyig each and every one.

Eidel could feel the heat from Tal's cheek, and hoped hers wouldn't give away just how nervous she was at that instance. She continued the steps that had been ingrained into her from since she was a kit (for her mother had thought it necessary that she have dance lessons of all types).

Tal continued to be led by Eidel, though he was feeling less and less uncomfertable about it. "You are a very skilled dancer," he remarked as they went.

Eidel smiled and let out a light chuckle. "Yes, well...I have had many dance lessons as it was forced upon me by my mother." She paused. "Thank you."

Tal smirked. "Oh really? Well, I suppose that is a blessing in itself. It proves that your mom at least cared about you." His foice grew cold and soft now as he finished. "I never saw my mom as a child, I hadn't seen her my entire life until a few days ago."

Eidel pressed her cheek against his slightly more. "I'm sorry," she said softly. "But mother's can be overly caring." She moved her cheek away from his. "So do you think you will get to be close to your mom from now one?" Eidel began thinking about her grandmother, and how she wasn't totally sure she wanted to get to know her. Eidel wondered if Tal felt the same way about his mother.

Tal shook his head. "Any feelings I would've shared with my mother, or my father for that matter, grew cold long ago. She has enough to deal with at the moment, like dealing with my siblings. They pestered her unneccisarily for hours the day she returned, to no use."

Eidel thought about his words for a short moment. "Why no use?" she asked. She finally stopped dancing as they had gone through the whole dance. She wondered if Tal would be able to remember any of it.

Tal shrugged. "She had no memory prior to that day, didn't recognize any of us. Almost a shame, really."

Eidel blinked. This story sounded so familiar to her, but she couldn't think of it. She pushed it to the back of her mind. "You think she might have been in an accident or something and lost her memory? That would make more sense...I mean, I can't imagine being a mother and voluntarily abandoning my children."
