I think it is slightly funny how in many animes {Inuyasha, Naruto, Sailor Moon, yu-gi-oh, etc.} the main female character is useless yet none of them have been sued for copyright infringement. lol

Well if they were sued then they would probably have to make original personalities for characters and thats just plain not gonna happen lol (jk) Actually while I do completely agree with you all, they probably feel like they must have a 'weak' lead female, like Kagome, so the lead male can look more manly or stronger by comparrison. If Kagome were more like Sango then she would be a more likeable character but at the same time it would make InuYasha look kinda weak.. (think about it he uses a demon fang and Sango uses a boomerang made from demon bone but she has no real 'magical powers or anything and she still usually does as much damage as InuYasha and Miroku put together, so if Kagome were like that then InuYasha wouldn't get the chance to fight at all!) lol (sorry was just ranting like a raving lunatic for a sec lol)

I love Inu Yasha, I need to go back through the series again, I haven't in awhile.... Anyway, I don't see how people could NOT like Inu Yasha! It's just sinful to dislike that series, lol, jk jk.

lol I like inuyasha and I like the way it was ended because the way it ended leaves a chance for them to maybe add more to the story down the line sometime....
