Shania_nowhere Howdy guys, I'm one of the mods of the Rangers (the website, not Gaia XD). It sounds like you've had a rough time with some of the mods and I felt the need to explain the reason for the mailing of gifts being the way it is. It's not an issue of keeping you from sending him stuff, that's not the case at all and in most cases the letters aren't pre-read before being mailed on. It's more of an issue of him not wanting his personal home address put out there for everyone to see. Believe it or not, there are some pretty creepy people out there that would mapquest him and pop up on his doorstep if they knew his address...and some have. >_> *sweatdrop* So this was a choice of Vic's and he entrusted the job of forwarding mail to one of the mods. They didn't take it upon themselves to do it that way, it was a request bestowed upon them by Vic personally. I'm sure that you are not one of the psycho stalkers that would hunt him down but they do exist out there and it's for that reason that the mail forwarding is done this way. It's nothing personal on you so please don't take it that way. Consider it a protection of Vic's privacy - and safety, in some cases, and respect his wishes for it to be this way. :3 I hope my explanation made sense! ^.^ *Nod, Nod* Yeah, that makes a lot of sense. . . I really admire Vic, and he really does have a mutual respect for us. And I especially respect him for having to deal with some of the with the aforementioned 'Rabid' fans. . . *Shiver* Geez, do they freak me out. . .
I personally have had no such trouble with any of the Mods, so I guess I can't say anything but 'Keep up the Good Work,' but maybe some of the Mods could be a tad more lenient and/or trusting? It's not like every one of his fans are like that. .

Elda-Chan A lot of the people who know me know that I greatly admire Vic Migongna. I think he's a very talented singer, actor, and a good role model. Not to mention a great person to have as a friend. . .
My problem, however, lies with some (not all!) of the leaders of his fan-club. . .
My friends have heard this rant, but here it goes again. Some members of the higher-ups in the Risembool Rangers seem to be under the mistaken impressions that they are Vic’s sectaries, only fans, and/or wives. So, from the average fan, let me make this clear. . .
I am a fan. I am not going to ask him stupid, hurtful questions, porously bring up painful memories, or dive into the personal life that you have very harshly deemed "off limits". I know better, I'm not stupid. So don't act like you have to every question/email run by you to make sure it's appropriate.
I am a fan. If I choose to send him cards, presents, letters, ect via post I refuse to pay more than double the shipping so that they may be sent to you and you will address them to him and re-send them to him. So don't act like I can't send him things directly to his address.
I am a fan. This means I try to keep out of his personal business, and so should you. Stop acting like I have to approve everything with you beforehand. Stop acting like you control his life. Stop attempting to control my contact with him. Stop acting like his wife, you're not, you hopefully never will be, get over your little complex and remember you are a fan just like the rest of us.
Thank you.
((Forum mods: Sorry if you think this is inappropriate, but it has to be said.)) Very well spoken! I totally agree!!

WhiteFangsGirl The Beautiful Lu-ay Amen. Some fangirls are REALLY scary & should be in straight jackets & accompanied by men in white coats. cool It makes you feel bad for the celebs they "love". Vic's got some really bad ones. Poor guy. It's the price for being so talented, I guess. sweatdrop Omg yes. I have the utmost respect for voice actors and the conventions they go to. Dramatic fangirls at conventions is one of the many evils of being a voice actor. I agree. I usually hate famous people and their fans. Vic is different. He deserves respect. God. mods. (some NOT ALL) can act like only they matter. But what ever. blow them off. We're all the same. We're all Vic Fans. THe End. [edit] still they are still the boss so listen to MOST of their rules. ^_^

"Your point makes a lot of sense and is fairly accurate. I just am reminded of one thing as to when it comes to personal topics. If you don't think it is personal but he does. He'd probably wish to be discreet or kindly divert into another topic that isn't as personal."

I hate those "I know better than you" type of people. I encountered one just today. My anime club gave our members the news that the little local con had to take a year off to gather funds.
One of the members decided to get on our case about it because she thought it was unfair to the people who go to the con every year. The whole time insinuating that the new people in charge where stupid and that we had a hand in this.
I actually had to step in and tell her that A) even though 3 of our Officers are in the cosplay department for the con, our anime club has nothing to do with the con. And B) that even if we did have some influence (which we don't) you can't put on a con if you can't afford it.
The nerve of some people.
