Hmm, I see more mooncake! *gobbles some* And some Dai fuku! *gobbles them as well* xd
He he, my Mid Autumn Festival was alright. Hailing from Fujian Province, me and my family played this really old but cool game roughly called "Dice Lotto" in English. There are six dice and pretty much every person takes their turn to roll the dice and win prizes. I was the winner last year, but I only won a single chocolate this year.

I wasn't so keen on the egg yolk in the mooncake when I was younger - used to pick it out. But I don't really mind it now. I ate a mooncake whole during the festival thingy which we held at my house at about midnight. Then I burnt down my paper lantern just to see how fast it'd take. mrgreen

I was in my friends forum and i spelled mooncakes moon cackes. lol. dunnow what i was thinking lol. anyways I want a paper lantern... Never got one... but we made them in Elementary school when I was little. But I wouldn't burn my paper lantern... especially since I've always wanted one. when's the next festival? is there a mid winter festival too? would be really nice if there was. @tamcharles: there should be and unofficial afterholiday day where people can just buy seasonal stuff cheap and celebrate. i have the habit of buying everything months before hands... especially christmas... I buy cards and gifts in like august lol. rofl xd

I probably shouldn't have burnt it, but curiosity makes fools of us all, lol. Anyways I've still got about 3 lanterns left - unburnt. I actually got them at my local chinese supermarket - a Wing Yip one methinks - and they were free too, so burning one of them wasn't so bad. At least my thirst to watch a paper lantern burn has been quenched once and for all. twisted

Ah well, Mid Autumn festivsal isn't really that big. Here in Australia there were hardly any major celebrations around the city. Probably for those who live in China there might have been more celebrations.
In any case, the spring festival is the big one.
