Joachim nodded. "It'd be best if we went up started and worked out way down. Follow me." With that Joachim began to float to the second floor and the private bedrooms.
Outside, Marcus had finished his much needed shopping. They had run out of soup and soap. He wasn't sure, but, every time he ran out of one, he ran out of the other. He was surprised however to find someone outside of his home. "hey, is something wrong?"

Lavi followed the ornately dressed ghost as he traveled the halls. "Soooo, where are we going?" He asked after the fifth bedroom.
Rynl looked up at the voice, seeing an older man talking to him. "Oh! I'm looking for my friend Lavi. He's about this tall...floats." [FIXED XD;;;]

Joachim was at a loss. They had thoroughly scoured the upstairs to no effect. "Well...we can still check down stairs. The kitchen is right below us." Slipping to the kitchen Joachim noticed that Marcus had left the flour out. "Just let me put this back." Lifting it, Joachim didn't anticipate he weight of the bag, and thus, the flour spilled over the kitchen floor and walls. Along with Joachim and Lavi.
Marcus looked do at the boy. "He's a ghost then? Ah well, hopefully Joachim hasn't given you two a hard time. Come in, we'll find him, and if we don't, well Joachim is sure to know where he went." He casually strode towards the castle, as if unexpeded vistors were normal. Waving Rynl down he called again. "Well, don't dawdle. Come on!"
((BTW-Marcus is 29 XD))

Lavi had not expected to be attacked by flour, so when he was hit, it surprised him enough to lose balance. "Hey! What's with you!? I thought you were--oh." He had looked at Joachim, who was also covered in flour, a clueless expression on his face. "If you needed help, you should have asked. We need to clean up now I guess huh?"
Rynl nodded, quickly following behind the older man. He had been quiet for awhile, which as Alptraum(his other ghostly companion) would have said was 'out of the ordinary for a motormouth like him', but it wasn't like he didn't want to talk, it was more he was unsure of what to say. So many questions swam through his head, for the moment he decided to ask the most simple. "So, who is 'Joachim'?"

Joachim glared at the white power the coating him, Lavi, and the kitchen. "Its not my fault the darn thing was....well...it was heavy." he pouted. "well...Its not really my job now is it? Marcus shouldn't have left it open and on the counter! Ha! Well, I'll show him who's boss." Joachim grabbed a handful of the powder and tossed it to a clean wall. "Lets cover this whole place in flour!"
Marcus smiled at the boy and set his soup and soup filled bag by the front door. "Joachim in vampire..well..vampire ghost really, anyway, he lives here..well..he doesn't really live as he's dead..oh...well...You know what I mean don't you?" Hew began to make his way to the library. "Joachim is sure to show up here sooner or later. Care for a book?"

Lavi wasn't too sure he should be messing up someones house, it hadn't been pretty when Rynl found out. He only considered that consequence for a minute more before grabbing a handful of flower, flinging it at a spot a bit a ways from where Joachims had landed. "What about fruits? Better mess with fruits!" He exclaimed, throwing more flour at the stovetop.
This man didn't seem too bad, Rynl thought, sitting in one of the arm chairs placed in the library. "Sure. Um, do you mind if I ask a few questions?"He asked curiously.

Joachim laughed. "Fruit! Yeah!" Zipping towards the cold box, Joachim pulled out an assortment of fruits. Some tropicals, some native. "I think these will work best! They're all squishy!" Joachim tosses an apple at the wall and giggled when it broke apart over the once clean space. Still pleased with his messy work, Joachim grabbed a hand of flour and tossed it at another clean wall..but missed, and hit Lavi in the back.
Marcus smiled. "Feel free. Its not everyday someone from the village comes by. Especially not one with such manners! Most of the time its just a bunch of kids looking to break in." Marcus handed the boy a leather tome. "You said you'd like a book. Its a very nice one. Tell about the castle's history. Now, by the way, I don't think I've caught your name. Mine's Marcus."

Lavi fell over, the flour slipping out his hand. "Hey! What's the big deal!?" He grabbed a few strawberries from the col box, pelting them at Joachim. "Take that!" He laughed.
"Thank you," He politely said, taking the book offered. "But i'm not from around here. Me and my friend Lavi had actually been traveling, and came to this town for a break, when they assumed that Lavi was some sort of exorcist, and asked us to come here." What he didn't tell the villagers was that the meaning and importance of Lavi's cross had long since been un-needed. "Well, how did you come to be here?" One green eye looking imploringly at the older man. "Oh! Before I forget, i'm Rynl." He always forgot to introduce himself to people when he became caught up in his tales. (the story of travelers being one)

Joachim laughed at the berries sprayed his semi-corporeal body with sticky juices. "Oh yeah?" Grabbing the pumpkin that Marcus had brought in from the garden earlier that day he smashed in on the ground, which promptly split it in pieces. "Take this!" Taking a fits full of the seeds and goo, he aimed for Lavi's face.
Marcus nodded. "They are fairly simple folk. Most of the older villagers don't even know how to read, and the young ones don't even own a simple football." He sat down across from Rynl. "Well Rynl, I came to be here from receiving an inheritance. Turns out my old man owned a few pieces of land up here and well, after school and what not, I thought I could put my teaching to use up in these remote places. Teach the children to grow and invent and all that. Joachim just kind of came with the house I suppose." He closed his eyes in remembrance. "Fell free to ask what ever you like. Its nice to have some one to talk too."

Lavi hadn't seen the goo coming, so it hit the back of his head."Ow! What----ewwww." He wiped at the back of his head to discover it was covered in sticky goo. He grabbed a hand full of flour and blueberries, chucking it at Joachim.
Seems like the man lived an interesting life. And sounded nice. But he knew that couldn't be the case, since Lavi was nice, but he scared girls away by hitting on them. "Anything else you do, in your spare time?"

Joachim laughed as the blueberrries left purple spots on his once white hair, the flour on making it into a cake like substance. "I'll get you!" Grabbing more pumpkin goo, he chucked it, both missing and hittingthe wall behind Lavi.
Marcus thought. "Well....." he looked around. "Not Really."

He had been about to tease the older man when he heard a small 'thump'. "Marcus, sir, ummm, did you hear that? It sounded like something hit the wall." God, he hoped Lavi wasn't doing anything stupid, he'd go find a priest and exorcise the br--old man.
Lavi got up, flinging what appeared to be a honeydew melon at Joachim.

Joachim ducked and laughed. He couldn't remember when he had had such fun! He grabbed peice of the now broken melon and threw it bck t Lavi.
Marcus looked towards the kitchen. "Maybe. Might be Joachim making mess again. Lets go see." Getting up he motioned to Ryln to follow him. "it just down the hall, besides, I think I'm hungry anyway."

Lavi usually had fun by himself, or with Rynl, but this was the first time another ghost wanted to have fun with him, and he was enjoying it. Like the childhood I wanted He thought, throwing a tomato at Joachim.
Rynl stood, following, he seriously hoped Lavi wasn't making the mess, unfortunatley he was proven wrong when he heard the distinct laughter of the playful ghost. "Anything he's done, i'm really really sorry for and i'll clean it up." He said, looking up apologetically at Marcus.

Joachim laughed at the tomatoe exploded on the wall. "Man, We'll be in so much trouble, but god this is fun!" He said, gabbing a muffin from the bread box and launching it at Lavi.
Marcus stopped dead in his tracks. "Thats not Jochim's laugh. Its usually more mlice nd hte filled." Picing up a fster pce he knocked on the kichen door. "Joachim?"
