A little chuckle could be heard from Sosuke, as he twisted his head to look at Satomi. Her response was amusing. It was an improvement from a few minutes ago, when Satomi seemed like she had zero life in her, but now it seemed like she had a little bit inside. Just a little. But, that was enough for Sosuke.
It was getting fairly dark now, and the paper lanterns were just far too dim. "I'm doing fine, I suppose." Sosuke answered, turning his gaze to the water below. The streams dug into the water, and sent up a little mist while the streams flowed into the water. "A little hungry though. Want to get something to eat?" Sosuke asked quietly. No fancy dinner this time, just something simple, and small, and cheap. Nothing extravagant.

The scene was tranquil, but with Sosuke, it just felt... different. Normally, she didn't mind being with Sosuke. But that was always when they were among other people; like she was just among a group of friends. But alone like this and the way he ws constantly going out of his for her now, it just felt off. Though she tried to think about it from a different angle, like how Sosuke must have felt right now. All those times she helped him, he never questioned her, he was happy, and so was she. But now that Sosuke was trying to do something in return, nothing felt the way it should have. She always liked to help people, but she didn't want the same in return. And even though it was a little selfish or even masochistic of her, she didn't care, it was just how things felt most right to her.
Still, as wrong as this all felt to her, she didn't want to hurt his own felings any more than she already had. "Your not fine Sosuke... we went over that already." She said it casually, stating it like a simple fact as she stared ahead still, not really sure if she could look him in the eye just yet. "I guess we can get something... I just don't want to be any trouble."

Hadn't they talked about this a few minutes ago? It was a little frustrating for Sosuke, especially when Satomi brought it up again. It was evident in his face, that he took that comment a little too harshly, as much as he tried to hide it.
Digging around in his pocket, Sosuke recalled seeing a small noodle shack they had passed on their walk to the Otawa waterfall, and it was pretty cheap, price wise. After two minutes of digging around in his pocket, Sosuke found no money. After that, he'd remembered what he'd done to it. He burned it up. Satomi could still get something for herself, but no dinner for Sosuke today. Trying not to worry Satomi, Sosuke managed a smile. "I saw a noodle cart a while ago. Would you like to go there?" Sosuke asked, standing up straight, and taking the ladle with him. Technically, it was disposable, but he wanted to save it, as a memento for today.

There was a brief silence from Satomi once again, having done it often now before she was about to look towards him. She was about to agree, feeling that maybe that would be best. Kyoto actually had some really good Ramen stands, and although it wasn't exactly something fancy, that was what she wanted; something simple. She didn't want him to go out of his way for her.
"That sounds okay, let's-" Suddenly, her cell phone began to ring, giving off a little jingle that was different than last time, and she didn't even look to know who it was, having given Regan her own ringtone; being the Star Wars opening theme. "Hello?" She listened to hear what Regan had to say, before Sosuke would see her once dull gaze lightening up into a look of panic. "Wa-Wait, what?? A-A kidnapping?" She said Konoka was kidnapped?? what was this about going to the Kansai head teble too? This was a bit too much all of the sudden. And she put the phone on speaker now so Sosuke could here.
"O-Okay, slow down, explain to me what happened in detail." She said a bit calmer now, trying to find out what was going on, holding the phone out so Sosuke could hear.

Sosuke had begun to smile once he started to hear Satomi agree to go eat, but it soon disappeared when he heard the word 'kidnapping'. With no doubt in his mind, something was wrong with this whole entire trip. Something was far too fishy about this kidnapping. He wasn't upset that the news of a kidnapping had interrupted his evening, but he was eager to know more about this 'kidnapping'. Hopefully, they could help, and but even better, would be if this news was old, and whoever was kidnapped was back, safe and sound.

Satomi kept the phone held out, still having it on speaker phone the entire time as she listened to the mouthful that Regan had to say. Most people would find it being too much information to digest at once, but Satomi was always taking in and writing so many facts at once with her studies, that she was able to clearly understand what Regan had to say. Though, clear it may have been, it was still quite confusing. How did she not know about this all sooner?? Oh.. right, she had spent some time with Cassandra and nearly got killed.
There was a long silence from Satomi, leaving Sosuke to say anything he wanted to as well while she said her peace on this subject. She would definitely come, but without any of her creations or inventions to back her up; this was going to be difficult... "Okay, we'll be there in a bit. I'll grab some 'reinforcements'. She said with a calm but confident tone, far better than the way she had been speaking to Sosuke before, as if the threat of danger to another student and the chance to help was enough to put her back into a more cheerful mood.

Now Sosuke understood. The commotion the other night, outside of the hotel, that was the fighting! He could've helped, but he didn't. How could he had made such a stupid mistake? But, this chance to possibly help Satomi and the others get back this girl could be good. "Yes, we'll be there in a second." Sosuke repeated, nodding to himself. Permission or not from Satomi, he would go and try to help. The problem was, he wasn't too confident in Satomi's safety. "I'm coming." Sosuke stated, with no room for Satomi to protest. "Do you want to bring anyone else?"

It was comforting, even a releif to hear that Sosuke was coming. She would have gone regardless, but she felt that Sosuke may have been able to really help with this and the other students, so there was no reason to deny it. "Right, we're on our way than! We'll see you in a bit." She said with a prideful, almost excited tone before hanging up.
Before she ran got on ahead of herself though, Satomi had the perfect idea for a 'reinforcement.' She was afraid for Xenon's safety here, but a robot was a robot; and repairs can be made. On the other hand, a human life was only given once, so she would have to take the risk. "Chachamaru-san!" Satomi had pressed in the few buttons to contact Sosuke's communication device she had given him, knowing Chachamaru was borrowing it right now. "We need you and Xenon to the outside of the Kansai magic temple, hurry! O-Oh.. and can you bring me a change of cloths and my lab coat? I should have a basic shirt and jeans in my bag." She added in the end with a light sweatdrop, knowing that she was going to need something a bit less... restricting than her kimono if they were going to stop some kidnappers, as well, her lab coat had a few tools that may help. She had to be prepared.

Looking down at his own attire, Sosuke would've preferred to fight in something not so flow-y, but it would have to do. Hearing Satomi call Chachamaru and Xenon to the Kansai magic temple, was a good idea. They could be repaired if damaged, and they wouldn't experience pain. Probably. "Shall we go meet them? Time's going by." Sosuke suggested, ready for action. He didn't need a weapon, and his clothes...they'd do, so all they had to do was meet Chachamaru and Xenon. No problem.

"Absolutely! Come on, let's stop waisting time, we can eat later in celebration for 'beating up the baddies'!" She said with a joking manner as she gave a light tug at his arm and was ready to leave at any moment. She seemed anxious, all signs of her exhaustion, sadness, and pain seeming to be bottled up now as she wanted to leave. She knew Chachamaru would get there quickly if Xenon cooperated, and the others were waiting on them, so they had to hurry![Satomi leaves with Sosuke to the Kansai's main entrance.] ((Meh, sorry for the poor post xP ))

How strange that Satomi was so eager to leap into danger. If that was the case, Sosuke should've just tossed her into a pile of rattlesnakes or something. That's danger. "U-Uh..yeah! Let's go!" Sosuke grinned, running with Satomi to the Kansai's main entrance.

[Note: Sosuke was in 'limbo' for a while, so...I'ma just going to plop him down right here.]
Sosuke had followed Satomi to the Kansai Magic association, but upon leaving there, to head to that stone, something had caught onto his leg. Of course, he had to investigate, but everything had went black, and he was right back where he started; at the Otawa Waterfall. Of course, he couldn't have fallen asleep, but what was it? Sosuke paced up and down a large bridge, fiddling with his cellphone. Really, he wanted to call Satomi up, to make sure she was okay, but he didn't have her cell number, and his communicator watch? With Xenon or Chachamaru.

Sosuke took out his phone, thinking it was Satomi, but fumbled it, almost dropping it in the waterfall below. Luckily, he caught it, and answered it, a little disappointed it was Satomi. "Hello?" He said into the phone, leaning against a brick wall, away from all the water. No need to go through juggling a phone again.

"Hi there Sosuke! How did things go last night. I was starting to worry when you didn't call me back. O, and JUST WHERE ARE YOU!?" Driviline's voice became really loud with the last part.
