Shoujo Phoenix Shoujo doesn't like popish music. That's because Shoujo's cooler then that whee I however am not. Nor will ever be. Why? I still have NSYNC's CDs! :mini-whee: And sadly Britney's first two...and Christina's first...and actually planning to buy more pop music when given the chance..... ninja YAY NELLY!

Only pop I suppose I ever liked was Ace of Base and Aqua.

I like lots of music...
As far as genres go, I think like a band/artist that falls within each. I listen to anything that sounds good to me, and I like a variety.
Right now, I am in the process of trying to find all of Yellowcard’s albums for cheap. I like them a lot because of the unique sound the violin brings to their music. The violin is not often used in the rock genre… at least from what I have heard.
I’m also a huge fan of Deltron 3030, Scapegoat Wax, Less Than Jake, Linkin Park, and Tsunami Bomb. I like a lot of other bands too… but those are just the names that come to mind right now.

But at this very moment I'm mellowing after work to Jun by Yoshida Takurou... its got a nice island feel to it. I seriously wanna get some more of his stuff. I found this song cuz its the opening tune to Sakegaki! Cromartie High.

I'm like Suyo on the music front. I listent to anything that pleases me really. Unfortunately my local radio stations don't play anything before '98, and I don't just randomly buy CDs. As a result, the newest CD/MP3 I have is by Matthew Good Band (Their Avalanche album).
My CD burning skills are also rather strange, considering I've had CDs go from Eminem to Pachabel (SP) to Nickleback and never recieved a strange look for my choices whee .
I must admit a bit of a musical sin though. I collect rap (and other genres) songs that fit into the "Lyrical Assault" Category. Songs like "Forgot About Dre", The remix of "Forgotten" on reanimation, and slower/older ones like "Bust a Move". If anybody has songs that fit in this category of music, let me know so I can look into it.

Takako is the resident shameless J-rock fangirl. cool My favorite bands/people are Pierrot, Dir en Grey, T.M. Revolution, Kagrra, and L'Arc-en-Ciel. The cool thing about Pierrot is they do some ska-ish songs too...
I also like a couple J-pop bands, especially Every Little Thing. I'm a sucker for their acoustic songs.
As for English language music... I like softcore rock, emo and other such crap. Like Fall Out Boy (especially their acoustic s**t), Linkin Park, Yellowcard. Blah blah.
