Jiyuu caught the sudden change in his voice. He felt he had something to do with it and well, wasn't sure it was good. Pushing himself from his knees back onto his feet, he stood up slowly and looked back over at Spiro. "Two more than I got." He said with a fake smile on his face. "My closet friends are my sister and this little guy." He smiled moving the ear Squeeky held onto.
Shaking his head softly, Jiyuu slowly started to walk closer to Spiro with Squeeky making soft sounds every now and then. "Most places seem never to allow animals. Makes even shopping hard in my family." He nodded and stopped walking just short of the swings making sure he wasn't invading his space.

The boy looked downwards slightly, "I'm not really sure if they're my friends any more... I haven't seen them anywhere.. And when I see them at school, they never come over to talk or anything.. I just hope they haven't forgotten about me.." He let out a quiet sigh, but then let it slip. "Alexei's my best friend... I normally don't go anywhere without him. I need him around."
His head lifted as the other headed towards him, tensing for a moment before relaxing once again. Automatic reaction. He shifted a bit, getting used to the new distance between them- it was okay because it was just another kid. "Yeah... It really stinks... I hate being away from Alexei, so normally I hide him in the collar of my shirt."

Jiyuu cocked his head to the side as he listened to Spiro. "Hey, first other person I met ended up attacking me. Be happy your friends didn't." He smiled watching Spiro's shadow and scent. He was now able to tell who the boy was. Made things much easier on him and his memory. "My sister is my best friend but she's been gone for so long that all I have his Squeeky." He nodded and kicked the ground under him.
"Hey, have you tried going into a store when you are part cat and having them look at you, look at your family and ask to leave? That stinks." He said it with a smile as he looked on. It didn't happen often because normally his mom hid their traits well enough with her own sometimes so they looked like a normal family but still..."So where is he today?"

He drew in a deep breath at that.. Attacked... He shook it off, shrugging slightly. The first people he met- not on earth- hadn't been friendly either... But he didn't want to think about that. He never did. So he locked it back in his mind where it belonged. "You're lucky you have a sister.." He had a Hatori and a- Yech- Ajani. Hatori wasn't so bad, but he wasn't a brother. Just like Freize was great, but he was most definitely not Spiro's father. Spiro's father was most definitely dead. Freize was still alive. Thus, the halfbreed's logic.
The boy gave a shake to his head, "I'm not half cat...I'm half angel and half demon." He decided he should say so, since he was certain the other boy oculdn't see for himself. He hoped he hadn't messed up, and that Jiyuu wouldn't hate him now that he knew. Other people had before... It wouldn't be a new experience. Just one he was trying to avoid.

Jiyuu's ears twitched as he listened to the breathing changes of Spiro. He could tell he most have had alot happen in his life to seem so down. Making a small note to watch himself in his words, Jiyuu tried to find a way to make the boy smile again, if he could think of one. He wasn't his sister. Yume just had an air around her that made people happy. He had to work for it.
"Well, that explains it then." Jiyuu smiled and nodded hearing the boy call himself half-angel and half-demon. His pale blue eyes looked back at his shadow and nodded. "I was wondering why you seemed to have a mix of the two scents. Now I know." He nodded softly before opening his eyes wide. "I'm guessing you figured out I can't see?" He said softly looking away half scared what Spiro would say.

The boy was a bit down now, but atleast he was still at ease. That was a good point in Spiro's mind. The neko was quiet and of a more gentle sort than what he was used to. It was easier for him to open up and relax around him.. He stretched his legs out infront of him, turning his gaze to the sky.. It was a nice day out. He chewed at his lower lip for awhile.
Spiro then turned his attention back towards the blind boy, confused at first, but then he ended up nodding. Yep. He was a halfbreed and all of that.. Hrm.. The boy suddenly brought up himself being unable to see, and looked- erm... Faced away from him, which brought back the curiousity. "Yeah, I guessed..." He shrugged and looked towards his feet, "Your eyes are kinda glossed and stuff, and I've met someone who's blind before so I just... Guessed." He hoped the other boy wasn't mad about his assumption, even though it was right. He lifted his eyes after a moment, "That's okay, though." For some reason he felt the need to assure the boy that he didn't care he was blind. Spiro really didn't mind. A person was a person, and no one deserved to be treated differently just because they were different.

Jiyuu decided he was standing in a nice spot and well, if he was going to talk, he would sit down. Curling his tail around his waist again, Jiyuu kneed down on the ground and perked his gray ears back up to listen to everything around them.
"It's cool. Jiyuu gave a small smile turning his head back to face Spiro. He could guess his actions and the uncomfort level rose slightly. "I mean I can see shadows so I know shapes well. Hey, maybe as I grow my sight will come back to me. I mean...It could happen. I haven't seen a doctor yet so I don't know." He shrugged not really sure if he would ever want to see but hey, if it was something to say, he would say it.

The boy shrugged slightly, "You never know..." He pondered for awhile, "Hm.. I always kind of admired blind people, really... It's kind've stupid, but..." He shifted a bit, working over his words in his mind. "They aren't forced to see what everyone else sees, and they can... Make up what they see. They don't have to see whats there, but since its in their mind, technically they can see whatever they want. Because anything can happen in your mind.." He took in a deep breath...
"See, stupid." He lowered his head a bit, slightly embarassed by what he said. He was propably totally stupid and out of line or something. He began to swing back and forth slowly, watching the ground. Hum...

Jiyuu closed his pale eyes and smiled. Shaking his head and opened them again into the world of shadows. "I never thought of it like that. But you are right. I only know colors because of what people tell me but I don't know what the color looks like. He nodded once and placed his hand into the grass. "I know this should be green but to me...I ask what is green?" He said closing his eyes again.
"It isn't stupid. Stupid would be running over here and saying...Can you see my hand in front of your face?" He said smiling over at the now moving shadow.

"Green is just something that people see that they tagged with a name. You don't have to see anything, you can see whatever you want, make up your own colors in a way... It.." He shrugged, noticing that he was repeating himself. The halfbreed pulled his knees up now, trying to sit scrunched up on the swing, letting out a small sigh.. He smiled some at the other boy's mention of what would really be stupid, and nodded, "I guess so..."

Jiyuu blinked and looked over at the shadow of Spiro. "May I ask your age? Your voice makes me think you are younger but your words seem older and wiser." He smiled and nodded slightly back at him.
"Is everything alright?" He whispered looking over at the shadow.

The halfbreed shifted, "I'm... About seven." He was young only on the outside, he had been growing beyond his body for a very long time.. He folded his hands now, sitting all scrunched up and giving a small sigh. He looked towards the neko thoughtfully, before giving a small nod. "Uh huh."

"Same age." Jiyuu nodded and smiled over at him. "Here I would have taken you for older. Shows what I know." He chuckled and turned his eyes up to the mouse near his ear. The white mouse was pulling softly on it telling him something was up.
"Spiro, could I ask you what you like to do for fun?" He said softly praying it wasn't planting. Last thing he needed was another person trying to take over the world.

"Oh really..?" The boy thought on that for awhile, "That's wierd... I don't meet people who are the same age as me a lot... A lot of older and younger people.." He shrugged slightly, the only friends he had his age being those that he grew up with. Not that he ever saw them anymore. He let his legs down now. Sitting like that cramped them, and he'd almost fallen out of the swing twice. With his clumbsy nature, continuing to sit like that was a bad idea.
"Fun..?" Spiro echoed after the other boy, tilting his head slightly. He thought on that for awhile before responding, "I like to write... And to read.. I like turtle hunting.. And um... I don't know... A bunch of other spontaneous stuff, I guess." He did a bunch of stuff on whim- only because someone else wanted to, usually. He was real crowd-following people pleaser when it came to his friends. And he was always trying to prove he was just as good as the pureblooded angels and demons, too... "Um... What about you..?" He felt it was the right thing to ask.

"I guess it all depends upon the family we are raised in." Jiyuu nodded once listening to his words and understanding where he was coming from. His closed friends were older than him...much older than him but still, he loved them all the same no matter what age they were.
"Oh? Um...I guess playing with Squeeky, hanging out with others and well...this game truth or dare. I never got to do much with it but it seemed fun.' Truth was he didn't know what he liked to do. He was always placed in different areas with different people he never had a chance to get an idea what he liked.
