Hyde waited patiently for the food and gazed down at it happily when the plate was placed before him. He happily accepted the cutlery and waited for the levisferio to sit before starting to wat, blowing on the forkfull he had. "I will." He answered, before popping the first forkful into his mouth.
He chewed on it, noting it tasted rather nice. He swallowed and sipped his win. "This is good, Arc." He commented, digging his fork into his portion of pie, cutting a chunk off.

Arc smiled again, "Thank you Hyde, thats nice of you, I'm just pleased you like it, I don't cook with a lot of meat so my food is not always to everyone's taste.." he ate a little more, "I do like cooking actually, I used to have to do it when my brothers and I were younger, but I suppose I managed to condition myself into liking it.. now I feel strange if one of my siblings cook instead.." he ate a little more once more.
"Were you okay today?" He asked after a moment, "It was rather hot, you weren't outside too much were you?" it was a bad habbit, being nosy, but it was how he was with his siblings, and he was fond of Hyde, it seemed right to make sure he was okay.

Hyde popped another forkful of pie into his mouth, chewing on it as he listened to Arc talk. The other really was nice and a good friend, Hyde counted himself lucky that they had met. "I can cook, though I guess I'm rather used to being cooked for." He admitted, forking some vegetables into his mouth.
He swallowed the mouthful of food as Arc asked his question. "Oh? Yes. I stayed inside alot of the time, I had housecalls today. What about you? It must get boring being on your own all day."

Arc nodded, "I don't get bored, I have things to do, I have reading, and people to talk to, all manner of things like that.. I have the house to keep, food to cook, a journal to keep, there are things enough to fill the day.." he settled down to eat a little more for now, "It is nice to spend some time relaxing though, having fun so to speak.." he smiled, "Your company is definitely one of the most agreeable that I have to hand, so thank you for that.." a few more mouthfuls and he'd finished his dinner, "you're used to be cooked for you say..?" He asked after a moment, "I'd be happy to cook for you, you know.." he stated quietly, "I don't want to imply you can't look out for yourself.. but.. the offer is there.."

Hyde nodded, smiling as he set about on finishing his food. He pushed his empty plate away with a satisified grin. "Yeah, I like the fact we don't have to eat alone tonight." He added, idly picking stray fibers from his armwarmers.
He looked up when Arc thanked him for the company and looked a little embarrassed, though managed to smile at him. "Oh, I was just passing through and thought it'd be good to see you. You don't need to thank me for that." He shook his head, raising his hands in a gesturing motion. "Oh, yes. At the clinic we took turns cooking....except for one person who could mysteriously burn water and in the castles I've lived in there was already staff cooking."
He paused at Arc's offer. "Only if we take turns, I'd feel like I was sponging off of you or something."

Arc nodded, "Sharing is fine, but if you're happier being cooked for, and I very much enjoy cooking you'll have to let me cook at yours sometimes. I'm used to it, neither Prism nor Niji like cooking very much, so.." he shrugged slightly. "Nor are they very good at it, so one of us had to step in.." He smiled and picked up Hyde's plate, taking it with his over to the sink where he simple set if down for now, settling back down on his chair and picking up his wine.
Arc had never been to a castle or anything as such, so the idea of people cooking for him was totally alien really, he didn't see much of a need to comment on this however as it seemed the sort of thing that might well distress his rather flighty seeming young friend.
"My brothers mentioned that they my well be back for a few days later this week, if they do show face we'll probably drift out into the countryside for a picnic of something.. would you make be interested in joining us..?" It seemed a slightly embarrassed request, Arc wasn't usually one to spend much time with people, so asking for their company was not a practised skill of his.

Hyde nodded with a smile, sipping some more of his wine. Dinner had been good, it was rather strange to have compan while eating. The only time he had that was if he went to go and see Macy or Aruru. He enjoyed Arc's company marginally more then he should in all honesty, because any friends that Hyde did manage to make became special to him. Since they were few and far between.
"Ah, I haven't dared let Liere even attempt to cook while he's with me." Hyde answered with a chuckle. "Though from what you say, you are very opposite to your brothers? Or at least, not as excitable?" He asked, watching Arc sit down in his chair once again.
"That would be nice, I'd love to." Hyde said, looking a little surprised. Well, he and Arc were really becoming good friends weren't they? He hadn't expected that at all.

Arc smiled slightly as the request was accepted, he'd worried slightly that it would somehow offend the elf, or distress him, his family were after all a little on the loud and obnoxious side as far as it went, well, Niji was, Prism was fairly quiet and unasuming, he was just making a point of looking after the noisy younger triplet so that Arc had a bit of a break, Arc was pleased for it as well, he had to admit, it was nice to be able to get to know some other people, as he didn't really know many others, despite his fairly extensive age.
"We'll probably be out for most of the day if I'm honest, Niji doesn't really like going home once he's out somewhere, for someone his age, my age, he acts surprisingly young.." Arc shook his head a little, sipping his wine again, "I'm pleased you'll be there though Hyde, I do enjoy your company," he nodded, another smile on his lips for his friend, he didn't usually smile this much, it was honestly slightly strange for him to be in such good humour.
Tugging some of his long hair over his shoulder Arc ran his fingers through it onces, tugging out a couple of twists, almost knots, it was obnoxious having such long hair, but he missed it whenever he cut it off...

Hyde smiled, hands resting in his lap as he laced his fingers together. He was excited about this now, looking forward to it. He hadn't really had a break from work in a long, long time. He also had not met Arc's brothers. He was both nervous and happy he would meet them. Perhaps bringing Liere along would be a good idea, if Niji was as hyperactive as Arc said he was.
"Uhm...if it helps, I can bring Liere? He'd distract Niji for a while?" Hyde asked in a small tone, wondering if it was really cheeky to ask such a thing. He was only suggesting, not like he was saying Liere was a must. He nodded, realising Arc was years and years older than himself. He patted a hand over his blind eye again, really confused as to why he wasn't self-concious about ti around Arc. Well, Arc didn't judge him..

Arc smiled slightly, once more lifting a hand to very gently touch the elf's shoulder, "You don't need to worry Hyde," He'd seen the look of uncertanty flitter across the other's face, "You're not doing anything wrong in asking to bring your brother, and he will of course be more than welcome, he is a very sweet thing, and I do think he will get on well with my siblings as well.." he gave the shoulder a very light squeeze and removed his hand again,
"It will please Niji very much, I'm sure, to have someone to play around with rather than trying to entice Prism or myself into a game.." He took another small sip of his wine, looking the elf over very briefly, he'd noticed the eye before, but supposed really that it was one of those things it was just better not to ask about in all honesty..
"Is there anything he likes, especially..?" He asked, "If there is I will make sure that at least a small amount of it is found for him.."

Hyde diverted his gaze from somewhere random in the room to Arc's face, hesitantly lifting a hand to lay it over the hand on his shoulder. He smiled smally and nodded. "Liere likes things like picnics, I'm sure he'll like both your brothers." He said, dropping his hand back to his lap when Arch moved his hand away. Liere liked making friends, even if he was a bit unorthodox at times.
"I'm sure Liere will like Niji, he likes running around and playing games." Hyde said with a happy nod, blinking his eyes as he downed the rest of his wine. It was nice. He looked around the room once again, attention wandering away from Arc until the other spoke. "Oh...he likes fairy cakes and milk. Thats all I know. Hes not fussy on anything else really. I can help you shop for things?"

"I think they'll hit it off very well Hyde.." Arc stated, smiling slightly at the hand that had been on his, "They seem very similar and I'm sure Niji will be delighted to have a friend.." he got up for a moment, returning to the table a moment or two later with a small basket with some grapes and some cherries in it, "Fruit is a better desert after a pie than anything with too much sugar.." he stated with a simple nod as he settled back down,
"Cakes and milk? That shouldn't be too hard to manage I wouldn't think.." Arc mused quietly, selecting a grape and popping it into his mouth, chewing with a look of contemplation on his face for a while. "They sell some in the bakery around the corner, so I can pick some up easilly enough the morning we go, I should think it will be Wednesday.. though I'm still not certain." he selcted another grape from the basket,
"You really don't need to worry about the shopping, but if you wish to your company would of course be more than welcome Hyde.."

Hyde nodded happily. "Yeah, Liere is so social. He makes me a bit jealous sometimes. He can mesh with people so well, I seem to be missing that part." He commented reaching forward to pluck a grape from the bowl when it was placed on the table. He nibbled at the skin, trying to rip it off before eating the actual grape. As was his weird way of eating them.
"Mmmhmm, It's his favourite dessert really." He murmured, popping the skinned grape into his mouth, licking at his sticky fingers absently. "I'll help out, it's only fair and I like your company."

"Okay then.." Arc stated, nodding once, his eyes flicking to a strangely blank stretch of wall, "I think we should do that tomorrow morning then, at least go for a walk around the market and pick up anything that won't spoil over the next two days.. Prism says he'll be here by then.." he smiled slightly, they could talk, the three of them, if they really tried with little tiny bursts of light that they could send to each other. That was why the wall was kept blank, they aimed there, it showed up.
"Will you be ready at nine, the stalls open around then so we may as well be early.." he stated, selecting another grape.

Hyde smiled, blinking and watching as Arc glanced over to a blank stretch of wall. What? He wondered why there was just a blank wall there, but decided not to ask. He knew very little of Arc's race. "Ah, that sounds fine." Hyde answered, He had to run to get some healing herbs from an old woman near the market at half eight anyway, it wasn't exactly difficult to meet up.
"Shall we meet near the marketplace then? By the stone arch up to the plaza?" He asked happily, looking forward to it. He liked the marketplace, but shopping with Arc sounded fun. He stood up and deposited his wine glass in the sink. "I should get going then, it's getting late." He murmured, walking to the door. "Thank you for having me over for dinner and sorry for dropping in so unexpectedly."
