The scent of the apple pulled Ginga's mind back to reality. Her stomach gave a growl of hunger. She took the apple from Oliver and took a small bite. "Thank you."

"You're very welcome." Oliver pulled out another arrow and inspected it. "Let me know when you're ready for your first lesson." He glanced down at her and smiled.

Ginga quickly chowed down her apple, grinning up at Oliver when she was done. Flecks of apple caught in the fur of her cheeks. "I'm ready!"

Oliver chuckled silently as he watched her hurridly eat the apple. He gently wiped the bits off her cheeks, thinking how utterly adorable she was. "Alright then!" He carefully place the bow in her paws, showing her hot to hold it.

Ginga wiggled her nose and giggled as the apple chunks were wiped away. Her tail swished with exctiement as Oliver showed her how to hold the bow. "How long till I'll be able to shoot like you Oli?"

"Well let's see..." He put his paw to his chin and pretended to think. "I've been practicing since I was born, so..." He raised his brow at Ginga. "Not too long," he chuckled. "Now the hardest part will probably pulling the string back while keeping your aim steady." He let go of the bow and let her hold it by herself. "Try pulling back on the string." He was a little worried she might not be strong enough to pull it back.

Ginga balanced and couldn't help but feel over confident, believing that pulling the string back would be an easy task. But it was not. She pulled and pulled, but couldn't get it all the way back. Her ears drooped as she pouted. "I can't do it."

Oli frowned. He had feared she might have some trouble with this part. He placed his paws on the bow with hers. Placing one on the bow itself and the other over her paw on the strong. "Let's try pulling it back fast, use your body to help you pull it." He planned to only help her a bit, making sure she could feel the pressure still. She might not be strong enough yet, but her knew she could still do it she pulled it right.

Ginga nodded her head and then did as Oliver instructed. The string gave way and began to pull back. "Look, look!"
She grinned in triumph up at Oliver.

Oliver nodded. "Very good!" he praised. "Now try holding it like that, and pretend you're aiming for something," he said as he took his paws off and let her hold it by herself. He held off giving her an arrow for now.

Ginga struggled to hold the string in place. Her tongue sticking out of the side of her mouth as she aimed at a tree trunk. "Like this?"

"Just like that. Now if you had an arrow in place," he held up one of the arrows, "You'd have to be keeping it in place as well." He held the arrow up beside the bow as she held it. "You want the arrow to be pointed at your target."

Ginga nods her head while intently listening to what Oliver said. "How do you know if it's aimed right?"

Oliver thought for a second. "Well, you don't. Not at first, you can't tell for sure. But try your best, and see what that gets you. Then you keep trying until you get a feel for it."

"Oh, okay then." Ginga grins and hums, her eyes beginning to wander. "Have you ever shot any bad guys?"
