Mum told me that friday the 13th was considered unlucky because it is the day of the hawthorn goddess (men find the female energy scary).
My luck just doesn't have a pattern. I voted good, because its mostly good, but its not always good.
As a scot, I think of black cats as lucky.

Our brains are good at sensing things before we consciously notice them. There was once a race driver that stopped his car because of a sense of dread, though he couldn't figure out why. It turned out that he subconsciously noticed that the crowds weren't cheering, so he figured out that something must've happened. There was a huge crash ahead, and many think he would've died if he didn't sense that somthing was wrong.
Maybe that has something to do with your "lucky ticket"?
