Magmapaw jumped away, angry this time. His tail lashed. He respected the warrior code! He needed to in order to become a leader!
He launched himself at Wildpaw, with his claws unsheathed this time.
He would show Wildpaw that he was strong.

Wildpaw had continued his charge, raming right into Magmapaw's claws. A gasp escaped Wildpaw as he fel clasw sink hinto his forhead and back, then his temper boiled over. He almost seemed to go into a trance as his muscles tensed and his claws swifly unsheathed, he did the same sort of forward summersault he did earlier, in order to rid himself of his hinderance, then, like a flash he reared down at Magmapaw to rake razor claws into his face.

Magmapaw let out a growl of pain as he felt claws slash his face, but he wasn't finished yet.
He lashed out his forepaws at Wildpaw in a mad fury.
He was getting tired, but he desperately wanted to win.

Wildpaw dis a half turn, letting the claws vent on his side, but better than having them dig into his face. Wildpaw let out a mad hiss, then whiped his head around, teeth bared angrilly, as hit went for his brothers arm. He was going to bite down to the bone, he would brake it, he would do anything in this state to win.

Magmapaw reared up on his back legs, keeping his forelegs away from his brother's teeth.
Blood was flowing from his wounds and he was getting tired. He wanted to end this battle.
He brought down all his weight in an attempt to crush his brother.

Wildpaw quickly rolled over onto his back undneath the front half of his brother that was rearing down upon him. Wildpaw didnt even feel concious, only a wild animal rage kept him from falling into an exhausted state. Wildpaw put out all foou paws, claws unsheathed, ready to dig into Magmapaw upon his landing.

Magmapaw let out a yowl of pain as his brother's claws dug into him.
He fell, anger searing through him. He was hurt badly and he was tired. He wanted desperately to get back up and win the fight, but he didn't have any energy left. He just glared and bared his teeth at Wildpaw from where he lay on the ground.

Wildpaw leapt at Magmapaw's defensless form on the ground, raking his claws at him however he could, then suddently, he left off at a voice, and stepped back, as if coming out of a trance, whirled his head around to looked at who had spoken.
Foxtrot had just stepped out of the bushes, followed by Tallpoppy and Marshpaw. Foxtrot looked at the training area, blood spatted on the dirt. He looked at Wildpaw, looking back at him with confusion written on his face, his son covered with bleeding wounds, and matted fur, then the fed lump on the ground drew his attention and his eyes grew wide. There was Magmapaw, hissing and spitting, unable to defend himself for fatigue, and Wildpaw had attack his defensless brother. No true warrior or honorable cat in their right mind would do that. What had made Wildpaw do that? Foxtrot stepped forward, his eyes riveted on Magmapaw.
"No..."
Wildpaw was still dazed, but he no longer felt any anger. A heavy tirdness swept over his body, and he felt like collapsing, but he followed his fathers gaze and turned to see Magmapaw on the ground near him. His eyes grew wide in horror at his brothers bleeding wounds, adan looked down at his own claws. The battle hit him like a flash, everything he had done, what he had done to his brother. But that wasnt him...it couldnt have been...had it? Well, it had to bee since thast was his brothers blood stained onto his claws! He was a monster, a tyrant, a ruthless animal controlled by fury! how could he do this!?
"what have I done?" Wildpaw whispered, his body trembling, then he made a break for it. As fast as his tired body would let him, he sped off through the forrest, a small blood traill behind him. He stiopped when he reached the thunderpath, his chest heaving, but he wouldnt let himself fall unconcious. He was alone in the world now. nobody would want him after what he had done to Magmapaw. No longer was he Wildpaw. no, he could not waer the honor of a Clan cat name. From now on, he had no name in his own eyes. As far as he was concerned, the rest of the world shouldnt know he even existed. He quickly rolled in the mud, wiped most of it off, leaving a fine layer on his fur, but not enough to leave a trail. And with that, Wildpaw took off, where, he didnt know, but he no longer cared.
Foxtrot bolted forward, and stood by Magmapaw, his eyes frantic as he looked at his son.
"What happened, how bad are you injured, can you walk?" He asked quickly, feeling useless at the moment. What would drive Wildpaw to do such a thing? "Dont go after Wildpaw, we have to take care of Magmapaw first."
Tallpoppy and Marshpaw bounde ove up beside Magmapaw, waiting for a response to know whether to help him up or carry him.

Stubborn anger remained inside Magmapaw, but he was also feeling guilty. This was all his fault! This happened because of his insults and the fact that he had unsheathed his claws!
He was going to reply to his father, but a wave of fatigue swept over him, and his head fell back into unconsciousness.

Foxtrot signalled to tallpoppy and the together lifted Magmapaw ups, sending Marshpaw back to camp to tell the medicine cats to be ready for his arrival.
***(~Time skip~)***
Foxtrot sat by Magmapaw in the Medicine cats den, waiting for his son to awaken. There were so many questions he needed to ask, but he couldnt rush things. He heard his name being call outside, and he left, signalling Marshpaw, who was waiting by the entrance to go inside and see if she could collect information for him. Foxtrot headed to Moonstar's den to disscuss the happenings and form a search party to find Wildpaw.
Marshpaw slipped quietley in, sniffing the air, the scents of herbs wreathing around her, as she settled down to wait. Magmapaw had been poulticed on his wounds, and the med cats had said he should awake fairly soon.

Spottedheart sat close by Magmapaw, waiting anxiously for him to wake up. Worry clouded her eyes. How could this have happened?
Magmapaw slowly blinked his eyes open to see that he was in the medicine cats den, surrounded by is mother and Marshpaw.
His whole body ached. That's when he remembered the fight!
"Where's Wildpaw?" he asked in a weak voice.
"He ran," Spottedheart replied. "We're sending a search party right now. Can you tell us what happened?"
She looked at Marshpaw and asked, "Could you go tell Foxtrot Magmapaw woke up?"

Marshpaw nodded, bounding out of the den and towards Moonstar's den. She waited outside until she was beckoned in.
Far far off, outside of ShadowClan terrirory, Wildpaw collapsed, fatigue dragging him down as he finally flopped down in some tall grass. He was breathing heavily, shame haning on him like a tick. Then his mind wandered, thinking about the rage that have overwhelmed him, that had controlled him. Maybe that was the true reasoning behind his former name of Wildpaw...Wildpaw closed his eyes and slipped into unconciousness, the grass waving goodbye to his old home in the breeze for him.

Magmapaw's whole body ached, but he still opened his mouth to tell his mother what happened.
"We were doing battle training, and I was just joking with Wildpaw, just doing some friendly taunting, but he got really mad at me. I should've stopped, but I didn't and he compared me to Tigerstar and that got me mad at him. Then we started using our claws... and we just couldn't stop. I wanted to win so badly and I guess he did too. We couldn't control oursleves..."
Spottedheart wanted to yell at her son, to thwap him with her paw, but she knew that he was in pain, so she didn't.
Instead she said in a gentle voice, "You stupid furball. Save your claws for the other clans, not your own brother."

Marshpaw peeked back in and settled back down.
"Foxtrot's organizing a few search parties and telling all patrols to keep an eye out for Wildpaw. He'll be back in soon."

"I want to go on a search party," Magmapaw said.
He felt like this was his fault, so he wanted to be the one to find his brother.
"Thanks, Marshpaw," Spottedheart said.
Then she looked at Magmapaw. "You'd have to be mousebrained to think I'd actually let you out of camp in your current condition. You need rest, not to be out all over the territory."
She sighed. What was she going to do with these kits?
