As far as my top brand it comes down to ESP, Gibson, And Washburn... I have a washburn WI-64 that continually amazes me, and I might be weird but I love Telecasters but nothing else fender

sweet mary jane The Nameless Liberty sweet mary jane The Nameless Liberty I personally like ESP, Ibanez. Yeah... Ah ha! You must be a metal man! Right? Haha hell yeah! but ive seen ESP's used by non-metal bands.Really? Like what? I've always seen E.S.P. as sort of a "METAL" exclusive guitar. I mean, I can see it used in other things but I've never seen an ESP used in a non-metal band. See what I'm saying? wink THe guitarists of the Jrock bands Dir en grey and the GazettE use Custom ESP's and they only have like... one or two metal songs.
EDIT:Aside from Dir en grey's MARROW OF A BONE album. And even that could be only slightly considered metal.

sweet mary jane I've never heard of Washburn before. i've never played a good washburn before. and i'm pretty sure the only descent guitarist that plays on one is in some screem band called, "sworn enemy."

DImebag played a washburn, he only endorsed dean, so all of those razorbacks are just using his name, and most of them don't have bill lawrence pickups in them like he used either.
