deep-in-music I think Bellatrix has mental problems. She kisses up to Voldemort so much that it's disgusting. scream Oh, She wasn't Kissing up. Not in the sense that students kiss up to teachers because they want to get good grades. She had a genuine sexual attraction to him, and her insanity only magnified her emotions, especially the more primal ones. If theres one woman who annoys me, it's Rita Skeeter. I just want to SLAP her.

Diana Tregarde bamfgirl143 I can't stand Hermione. She IS an insufferable know-it-all. Romilda Vane was pretty annoying too... but no one gets on my nerves more than Ginny after book 3. But I guess it's because after that, she turns into a total Sue, so there you go. rolleyes But....Ginny? Turns into a total Sue? I don't think so. She's constantly slipping out of the bounds her brothers try to set for her, smashes deliberately into the foul Quidditch commentator, is in Dumbledore's Army and the raid on the Ministry, casts a Bat Bogey charm on a Slyth so adeptly Slughorn invites her to his club, and at first opportunity she races into the fight in Hogwarts, battling Bellatrix with Hermione and Luna until her Mom charges in. Constantly thinking and contributing, she's a far cry from a Mary Sue. I think. Um... I don't mean to start a flame war or anything, but that's pretty much the essence of a Sue. rofl She's somehow super good at Quidditch, super good at hexing and dueling, she's in love with and gets the main character, she's extremely popular and all the boys in school are after her, she has a sassy retort for everything, thinks up the name 'Dumbledore's Army', etc. etc.... what about that isn't being a Sue? Also wasn't it Zacharias Smith she hexed to get into the Slug Club? He was a Hufflepuff, not a Slytherin. 3nodding And I totally agree with the above person, Rita Skeeter was so annoying, it was hard to read bits with her.

Scotties MiaKitty Hm... why does everybody hate the good girls? I hate Bellatrix Lestrange. Hate hate hate hate her. Firstly because she's a nut, and secondly because she killed Sirius, who is my absolute favorite character in the whole series. She sucks. So there. I agree!

I don't really like Hermione. I don't have a clue why its just the way she talks. Not anything to do with what she says, I juist dont like the sound of her talking. It's irritating.

She's a little vain at times, and so good at everything it's frankly more disgusting than Hermione. Also, if you think about it, it's kind of a slap in the face to Ron. I mean, here's Harry, boy hero, and Ginny, female version of the boy hero, and poor Ron is so inadequate that he has to have the world's smarmiest walking library/thesaurus/encyclopedia. Didn't much care for any of the Gryffindor girls, Angelina aside. Cho frankly irritated the hell out of me. And, though it may give me flames here, I actually kind of like Bellatrix. Now don't get me wrong, she's twisted and evil and insane as hell, and she killed off my third favorite character out of pure spite, then proceeds to rub it in. But it's those same things that make me like her. I'm writing a three book arc which involves Bella quite often, and when I write her, her madness is so...all encompassing that writing her, thinking of things for her to wreak havoc upon, is the best part of the whole process. Does that make me twisted?

The only female character I REALLY hate is Ginny. I just don't think she is a very good character. At all. I don't like Harry either but I've been told you're not supposed to hate the main character of a series so maybe I'm wrong.... sweatdrop
There are other female characters I hate but not enough to where I just can't stand their name being mentioned. For example, I hate Umbridge, but it's a kind of hate where I can at least tolerate her presence in a conversation. I can relate with her, in a way. I'd want to punish all those stupid annoying teenagers too.... xd
As for male characters, like I mentioned above, I hate Harry. He is like the male equivalent of Ginny to me and seems to have the depth of a child's swimming pool. All he feels is anger, hatred, and self-pity. (That's how it feels to me anyway...)

Uh... basically everyone. EXCEPT for Lily, McGonagall, and Luna. Sometimes Tonks, even if she totally stole Remus from Sirius... after he died. Uh. Yeah. A lesbian and a gay man do not make a good couple.
ETA: Oh and I like Narcissa. because Lucius/Narcissa is so awesome. And their fun. Especially Makani's versions of them.

Oh gosh! I absolutely love Bellatrix! She's awesome.
Her insanity and cruelty makes her one of the more realistic of Harry Potter characters.
Ginny is ok, but I can see both sides of the argument there.
Hermione's character is nice but I hate Emma Watson.
Once again, I like Umbridge quite well. (I FAIL at bitching, huh?)
She may be awful but her character is interesting and, like Bella, a contrast to all the smarmy, goody-goody characters we're used to.
I like most of the other girls, especially Angelina Johnson, Alicia Spinnet and other Quidditch players. Oh, and Luna is amazing!
I hate Cho the most, because her character lacks depth and I cannot empathise with her at all. She is selfish and over-emotional, and would never have been a good girlfriend for Harry.

Wow, everybody hating Ginny and Bella^^
As for Ginny, I can understand you, because it is really stupid if someone is oh-so-perfect: I mean she is intelligent, good at quidditch, funny, pretty, a good witch, popular, brave etc... It sucks...^^
I prefer Hermione! I mean she is intelligent too and good at school, but she also has her "bad site". For example she can be a little know-it-all and apparently not very good at quidditch. And sometimes she can be reaaaaally touchy...
But a female character that I find really annoying is... Umbridge... I hate her she is just EVIL!!! Although to hate someone is different from finding someone annoying, so I guess it would be Ginny who annoys me most...
From the boys, I guess it is Sirius... I know lots of you like him, but I personally think that he has never managed to make a difference between Harry and James which was really annoying...

I love Bellatrix....look at my avi....I am Bellatrix.....my profile used to be Bellatrix but I switched it up a bit since Daybreakers is comming out in January 8, 2010......but I may switch it back.....
Ok....back to the topic at hand (before I get killed by Bella haters).
I hate Hermione. I HATE her. She's a b!tch in my eyes and a complete know-it-all and it pisses me off!
I don't hate Ginny (though I believe she kills me) but I dislike her. Im sorry, but I must agree with the Mary Sue part about Ginny..... sweatdrop
I hate Umbridge! OMG I hate her! I hate her so much im using text talk to discribe how much I hate her! She is a b!tch! My vice-princible, the one I hated, looked exactly like her so me and my hp friends started calling her Umbridge. mrgreen

I really didlike Ginny, seriously once she becomes popular she becomes a pain.
