Rue smiled elated at Arctic.
“Arctic you’re the best!” she exclaimed before biting into the fish. Her razor-sharp teeth cut though the fish’s skin easily, letting her get to the delicious meat.
“Come on down and eat Koa.” She said to her little friend
Koa mewed delighted and quickly hopped down from Rues head and began to eat a small piece Rue took out for her.

Arctic was startled no one had every said something like that to him before. "I'm glad I could help."

“Thank you yet again. I owe you." she said continuing to play wth his tail
Koa was still eating but mid way though her feast she rose her head and gave a thank you mew

Arctic watched the little one play with his tail. "Do you have a family?" he asked concerned about her being out here by herself.

“Family? What’s that?” She asked looking up At Arctic with curiosity in her eyes.
“Is it something fun? Can I eat it?"

Arctic's ears lowered. "A family is a group of taes usually related that live together," he explained unsure of what to say.

“Nope, I got no family I know of. Is there something Arctic?” Rue asked concerned for he looked sad.

*yawn* "Whats that noise down by the river?" Shimmer wondered as she woke from her peaceful nap in the thickets. "Hello, is there someone out there?"

Arctic let out a silent sigh thankful for the reprieve. "Hello," he called back, carefully placing himself between Rue and the voice.

Rue turned towards the voice quickly. She was elated to find a new friend to play with.
“Hello there!” She exclaimed before turning to Arctic.”Come on Arctic lets go see who it is.”

"Careful Rue, its never a good idea to just go racing off without knowing what your going to find," Arctic said worried the young one would one day get herself in trouble.

“Oh okay, you never answered me question though...” Rue said quietly as she laid on Arctic’s tail. She still wanted to know why she needed a family.

Shimmer got up from where she lay, and started making her way towards the area from which the voices came. "I thought I heard the voices coming from over here" she murmured to herself. As she made her way closer, she noticed the pair just in sight. "Hello, I am Shimmer".

Arctic let out a sigh of relief at the sight of the female tae. “Hello, I’m Arctic,” he greeted. Turing to Rue relysing that she wasn’t going to let it go he said, “A family takes care of each other, you didn’t need one it’s just preferred.” He shot a pleading look at Shimmer, completely out of his depth.
