6th grade was when i was first introduced to the friggin' amazing instument, and this next year, I will be the ONLY PERCUSSIONIST THAT KNOWS HOW TO PLAY TIMPANI!!!

For all three years in Middle School I was fond of the Timpanis, but now being in High School, In the Marching Band I would say I have a tie between Marching Bass drums (proudly Marching the 2nd bass drum) and Marimba because of it's beatiful sound.

No one else knows how/wants or like to play them, which I don't understand because Timps are like the best this ever! (Right after tenors/quads though) 3nodding It's my dream to play the tenors!

i have only played for one year so all i have played is snare,bass,and bells.i hate bells but i love snare and quads.im going to the 7th grade this year so im still in midle school.

In all my three middle school years, I was 1st snare, but I'm starting off on 5th bass this year in high school.
5th BASS is the best!

I like timpanis. They're big. And I'm a brass player, and in the last concert I did, the final song, the big finale had a big timp roll and I was stood in front of them. Sounded AMAZING!!
But one of the best percussion instruments has just got to be the 'Shakey Egg'.
