My beef isent with Cream or Amy really....Rouge on the other hand just annoys me. But my problem is the whole thing in total, if there were a tougher female character on there then it wouldent bug me as much really but it just seems like the typical stereotype in every game. I'm not solely focusing this rant to Sonic really its just that it feels like their sticking with the stereotyping. If they could weigh it out a little, even out the scores by adding a tougher female who's not a slut *coughRougecough* then I'd be all right with it. And I understand its a stereotype thats been used for a long time. Which is why I get stares when people find out I'm a video game major XD;....XD and I have to break through the stereotyping of being female and blonde XD;.....But thats off topic. The point is I just wish they'd bring in a female character with more of an edge....
A good female character in a video game to me to look at is Samus Arran ((For anyone who doesent know she's the main character in a game called Metroid and if you've never played it well....you really should its an awesome game 8D)) I just wish they'd bring in a little more of that edge. Its not that I'm calling Cream or Amy wusses at all and I dident mean it that offensively, actually for me Cream and Amy's goes beyond just the gender factor but also onto the age factor ((Cream and Amy are both really young and they dont have an older female on there. And again I'm not counting Rouge. I just dont like her at all for some pretty obvious reasons.)) but it doesent mean I dont like the characters, I just feel they should even the score a little more. Make a female character as tough as Knuckles or as smart as Tails or heck even as evil as Robotnik.
I've heard some rumours about Blaze the cat from the upcoming Sonic game Sonic Rush, that she's supposed to be tougher as well as she's supposed to be as fast as Sonic. I'm not sure if this is true or not but if it is, I'll lay off of ranting against Sonic Team for the female thing completely and I'll definately be happy. But thats assuming that they'll even make her a developing character and they keep her in and its also resting my assurance in rumours I've heard XD;.....But It's definately going to be interesting to find out.

I've never been a huge fan of Cream, but I do find myself agreeing with everything Nuala says there.
In Sonic X she seems to bring out the best in everyone. Sonic may be somewhat of a hot-head, but he's also happy to go hundreds of miles just to bring her back some flowers, bless his sneakers. She was the one who befriended Emerl, was nice to Robotnik's henchbots and thought of something useful to do to help Cosmo when she first arrived.
Mind you, I've never actually heard her when she sends Cheese after the bad guys in Sonic Heroes. I'll have to listen out for that...
I guess I just have an instinctive urge to go "bleuchh!" at anything even remotely approaching sweetness and light.

Oh, wow. surprised That first one kind of looks like a rehash of Big! As for the videos, I'm holding out 'til I get DSL. Trying to download videos on dial-up is painful. gonk I have seen screens, though. It's looking sharp! smile

which means 3 Sonic Team characters from non-Sonic games and 5 newbies.
I guess I can smile though, Cream's in there and one of those robos just might be another Gamma clone.

Haha, should be fun to see Ulala zooming around against the Sonic gang (she's Sonic Team? o_O...too bad no Samba razz ).
Watched the little animation from the game, which I guess is going to be the intro, eh? The style reminds me alot from how "Samurai Legend Musashi"'s was done, which isn't a bad thing. Gotta love anime cutscenes!
Hm, looking at the artwork for the three bird characters, I can't help but also feel a "deja vu" sense with the designs. Maybe the similarities are intentional (Jet sharing Sonic's 'do : p), but I still can't help but feel like they're a bit clone-ish.

~ChaosShadow50~ Well all I can say that I'm getting the game! So am I. Well one thing is, I think that they need to put more race characters on the besides 6, you know like Amy, Shadow, Espio, Vector, Charmy, Cream & Cheese, Chaos Zero, Tikal, Rouge, or maybe Eggman, maybe these characters should be playable don't you think?
