Does anybody remember Dragon Power? It was the US version of the first Dragon Ball game, and covered the first season. I rented it and never got past Yamcha. Of course I didn't know it was Yamcha then because all names were changed(I don't actually remember any names except Pudgy, a.k.a. Oolong). But the concept of Dragon Balls stuck in my mind. Fast forward a decade and my dog wakes me up one morning just in time for the American premiere of the syndicated run of Dragon Ball Z. I had a flashback with such heavy nostalgia I stayed glued to the set and never looked back.

It was my favorite anime that I know was an anime
And Gohan in the Cell saga was awesome what happened to him
