Giggling, Allariana was very happy to hear about her daughter-in-law but then she sensed something was troubling Blacklight. The future... was a troubling subject. Even Allariana didn't like talking about it because it was so unpredictable. It was important that everybody knew one thing about the future though... The little flutter paused before speaking. "You can never know what the future holds. One little action we take can completely alter our futures. And chances are, Sa'ida would probably be correct in that moment but later, the future could completely change. And... sometimes, we have to have more faith in our loved ones..." Allariana only touched on the unimportant aspect of Blacklight's worries. This was something much more deep then Sa'ida seeing into the future.
Her voice trailed off. Allariana had had these thoughts before. When she was a young flutter, before she met Spectre, Allariana had questioned her future much before. But now, Allariana had become much more wise about life in general. "Have faith in him..." Looking at the small colt in the distance, Allariana smiled happily. "Look at him... Right now, how do you think his future is going to turn out?" She watched him with an amused expression as he worked on taking to the air. "Sometimes, the unexpected events in our lives grant us amazing gifts. You love him right?" She looked at him with kind and gentle eyes; she already could guess Blacklight's answer. A mother's love could not lie.

"Of course!" Blacklight's eyes widened with surprise. "I- I mean, I didn't know if I would, since I didn't expect them. But he's so small. How could I not love him? I'm here because, I- I-"
She shook her head, the short fringe of her mane not quite falling into her eyes.
"I love him, but he won't tell me things. Because he's trying to be a good son. And one day he'll grow up and leave me, and I don't know how to feel about that!"

Raising a brow, Allariana knew Blacklight's troubles all too well. "I see." The little flutter couldn't help but giggle again. "Forgive me, I do take your questions seriously because they're serious matters. But how do you think you came to be? I had to let go of my children as you will have to do with him. And look at me now, I have great grandchildren!" She laughed musically once more and thought about when her children left her. That was... difficult for her because then she was alone. But then she learned about how wonderful her children were doing and that just made her day. "You have to trust me on this one. Letting him go will be... very difficult but later, you'll find that it was the right thing to do." Allariana nodded at her softly and smiled at Blacklight trying to reassure her that everything would be alright.
