Once again Clementine was nailed with the Ice Attack. She needed to wake up soon!
Lenne was getting worried about Clementine sleeping, and how it might affect the outcome of the battle. "Agh, Clemmy! Use Sleep Talk again! It's all we can do..." Muttered Lenne.
Clementine, unpredictable as was, seemed to get up once more, to attack the skitty.

This time, with the Cubone coming right at him, Tomfoolery manage to avoid most of the damage. But she was able to come down on his tail, hard, causing him to yowl in pain.
"Your Pokemon is really good at attacking in her sleep." Piney laughed nervously at the strange sight. Her ability to do that was winning the battle for her.
"Keep on using Ice Beam!" She didn't like repeating attacks over and over like that, but she had to if to keep up any chance of coming through.
Jumping away from the random spark, Tomfoolery faced Clementine and fired another round of ice.

Clementine got nailed with another ice beam, this time causing more damage than before. She wouldn't be able to take much more of this...
"Agh! COME ON CLEMENTINE! WAKE UP! We're going to lose if you don't!" Clementine seemed to have reacted a little towards Lenne's yelling, but remained asleep.
"Ugh! Clementine, use Sleep Talk one more time!"
And slowly, Clementine got up, and seemed to prepare to attack again.

Tomfoolery was distracted by his small success of a critical hit. The sleep talking Cubone landed another attack on him, bringing him to the brink of defeat.
"Come on now! Just one more attack!" Piney cheered the Skitty on. The outcome of this battle depended on his last attack, and it better not miss.
"Doubleslap!"
Tomfoolery, with energy in this charge, lunged at Clementine, his tail glowing once more.

Clementine woke up just in the nick of time to completely avoid Tomfoolery's attack. If he hadn't, he'd surely have fainted.
"YES! YES! YES! Go Clementine! Whooo!" Lenne was jumping with joy at the outcome of the last attack. "Finally you're awake! Now come on Clementine, let's use Focus Punch for one final blow! And don't forget to make it contest-worthy!"
Clementine, finally able to move while awake, listened to her trainer's command and performed a focus punch. She formed a fist with her small hand and went darting forward to the skitty. Stars started to fly from her fist as she moved, adding to the beauty.

Tomfoolery, though weak, still managed to dodge the Focus Punch and the static that was flying everywhere. Panting, he landed a distance away from his opponent.
"Yes! Good going Tomfoolery!" Piney shouted, not caring that he missed the first time. They still had a chance for winning.
"Another Doubleslap!"
Emitting a battlecry, he charged up with his glowing tail, determined to hit this time.

Clementine, unable to dodge in time, got struck with the tail in her back. She immediately fell to the ground, k'oed.
"Agh! Damn... Oh well Clemmy, we can't win 'em all huh...?" Lenne grabbed Clementine's Luxury Ball and returned her to it. "Or maybe we can..." Lenne muttered to herself quietly.
"Well, it was a good battle. Very suspenseful, and congrats on your win."
Lenne waved to her opponent, then started to leave the stadium, she wasn't one who faced defeat well.
